Viggo’s Pizza

Pizza place. Nothing fancy at all. Food tastes good. Sometimes it’s better than other days. Overall it’s good for a slice or two but I wouldn’t go crazy with the other dishes they have

For pizza, I thought this place was pretty good.
I hate pizza, and I enjoyed this a lot. There was «a family emergency», so they weren’t supposed to open up until 4:00PM today. But, when they saw us at the door, they let us buy what we wanted, and we took our food outside. The staff was really kind, and caring.
The pizza was crispy, with a thin layer of cheese, and sauce. It wasn’t too much cheese, but it wasn’t too little. The slice was huge!
Overall, this place with reasonably priced. I got a combo of 2 large pieces, and a can of soda, for $ 5.99, plus tax. Will be coming back.

very mediocre pizza… nice people… wish i could give a better review, but the pizza is not very good. the mushrooms they use are from a can. i am from the east coast, but live on the west coast and when i come to visit, i expect a good authentic east coast pizza… this is not… at least the prices are low.

It had been a few months since my last visit, but they remembered me, and know exactly what I’ve ordered in past. Tonight I tried the Eggplant parmigiana. I watched the owner make it — and she made the marinara sauce spicy, as was requested. It was all fresh and tasted homemade. It is rare to find the kind of service you get here. Still my favorite little pizza spot in the area. I have loved everything I’ve tried here.

Great pizza, super sweet owner and delivery services are always kind and pleasant. Had a party catered for my sons school and it went off without a hitch and was enjoyed by many. Must try veggie bites. Amazing!

I got a grilled veggie wrap at Viggo’s not long ago. (Take Out). I was shocked at how good it was. It was so good, I went home and made myself one for dinner in the hope that I would be able to replicate it (to no avail). The veggie’s were clearly fresh. The wrap was delicious, not salty, not bland, just right.

Okay I just moved back into Ventnor and was looking forward to trying this place. I decided to pick up a cheesesteak with fried onions on the way home from work one evening. It was very good nothing spectacular but my problem is the amount of meat versus the cost. portion was way too small. I’ll try their pizza and promised to report back.

This pizza is great and the price is reasonable. The buffalo wings are delicious. The staff and owner was so friendly regardless of constant walk-​in and phone orders. We went during a rush and was able to be seated, order was taken and served in no time. My three girls loved the pizza, with no slices left to bring home to Daddy.

Not sure why «Fatty D.» gave this 3 stars??? I totally agree with his/​her review, just didn’t see what the 2 star reduction was all about. I really don’t have too much more to say. I had the Bruschetta pizza and a delicious soup of the day (think Turkey). The chef, owner, and other staff were super cool. Really easy going place. If you’re around the area, and certainly if you live nearby, got to check this place out. Coffee house across the street was a perfect finish to a great lunch. Cheers to you Viggo’s! Hope you’ll be there for many years to come!!!

We love finding new independent small businesses that try to be terrific and often times does. This is the case for the new Viggo’s Pizza. Many have tried to make it a go at this location, only to crash and burn. The Large Pizza with the works we tried was fresh thin crust pizza which tasted very good. The ingredients tasted very fresh and was a bargain. The owner is very friendly and is convinced creating good food will promote many repeat business. I agree.
The sauce was excellent, not tart not a sticky sweet slime. The cheese was good, meatballs and sausage were moist and tender. There are far too many pizza places in Ventnor, most offer a dry cardboard like disk of crap.
Viggo’s tastes like a pizza should.
We were told they now create and make their own Chili which on a Winter cold windy night that only the Jerzey Shore can offer sounds like a winner. All home made. Next time in the area, we will definitely try the Chili and of course share it with my thousands of readers. Support a hard working good tasting Pizza, yep Fatty says, Swing and a Long Fly Ball…
