Jo at Australian Native Plants was terrific. After being disappointed with the lack of service and high prices at the chain nurseries I found this place. Everything looks so healthy — Jo grows everything herself! This nursery has plants you can’t find just anywhere. Also, Jo is so knowledgable about these plants — you get good advice on how to keep them happy and looking good. We don’t live close but it was definately worth the trip to Ventura. We’ll be back…

If you are looking for drought tolerant plants this is the place to come! Incredible selection of Australian native plants and other unique specimens that will make your neighbors envious of your garden. The owner is lovely and extremely knowledgable so if you need help don’t be afraid to ask.

If you love Australian or those crazy south African plants, this place is cool. The Lady runs it and grows everything herself. Some stuff here is not available anywhere else in California. Only there. Her selection of Protea plants cant be touched by any other grower. The selection is so vast you could easily be lost in there. Plus she really know her plants, really well!
