Cabinets To Go

We initially heard great things about Cabinets to Go. Frank was very helpful in the beginning, came out to the house to measure and provided his design. He were told one week for the proposal which turned into 2 weeks. We gave him the go-​ahead to order the cabinets. We made numerous phone calls to him as to when to expect our cabinets. He indicated that there were two pieces that he was having a hard time locating. He indicated he emailed the other stores twice. We waited again… After a couple more weeks, he indicatd he could get all the cabinets and gave us a general date period of which he would have them. Again… nothing for two weeks. Time has passed, we’ve given up and have decided to go with another company who is on top of it all. Got our design and proposal in 4 days, we’ve set a date for installation in 10 days. We’re very happy and glad we made the decision to go elsewhere. We even got a better deal with better quality cabinets and design.

I have drawers that do not stay on the track, I contacted customer service many many weeks ago, multiple times. They said they would send me some parts, which is a horrible warranty in the first place. I have not seen any parts, I know that I’ll get nothing unless I contact them again. Unfortunatly, I cannot get myself to contact them. I feel totally ripped off and will get the cabinets fixed outside of this horrible company.

Our experience with our local Cabinets To Go was excellent. We were a little hesitant at first, in our mind we thought their product line would be inferior, to any of the big box stores. We were pleasantly surprised this was not the case. Frank was very thorough in his design and very helpful throughout the entire process. Our cabinets were delivered exactly on time as promised and there was no damage to anything. The construction of the cabinets we purchased is excellent, solid wood, dove tail joinery, soft closing doors and drawers. Frank was able to quickly offer an acceptable solution to a minor design issue, keeping our project on track (and in budget). The final look is stunning! One of our family members commented «your kitchen looks like a picture in a magazine». After a bad experience with another contractor, we had a very limited budget to work with. But we still didn’t want to «settle» with something we could only afford. Not only did we stay within our budget, but we now have a beautiful kitchen we will enjoy for years to come. I would definitely use Cabinets To Go again, over the big box stores.

I had a really good experience with cabinets to go. Frank was really helpful and even though it can take a while to get the cabinets, home depot and lowes take longer. Assembling them gets easier as you keep doing them. They use good materials in their construction and very pleased with how the kitchen came out. Above all I saved a lot of money vs. home depot and lowes. Frank was very thorough with his design and they have really good software to make it easy to plan a design. (much better then lowes (which took forever)… Not sure why so many people have negative reviews, but I had a really good experience! BTW went with SOHO maple cabinets, love the look with quartz couter-​tops

Frank came through. After a rocky start, Frank delivered and went above and beyond.

We were their first customer when they opened the store. We wanted to remodel our kitchen but didn’t want to spend a lot of money. I walked into the store not expecting much. They immediately sat down with me and designed our kitchen. Then when they gave me the price, I was sold. The cabinets were easy to put together (the first one is a little tricky just because we weren’t sure how to do it). Our carpenter installed the cabinets and didn’t have any complaints. They look beautiful! I am so pleased with how our kitchen turned out that I’m recommending them to everyone. Great product! I wish I could upload some pictures to show you. I’ll send them to the store instead and hopefully they’ll put them up. My only complaint was the dishwasher cabinet wasn’t sturdy enough. So our carpenter had to put a thick piece of plywood on the inside of the cabinet. I don’t know if we were missing something or what happened but it all worked out beautifully!
