Absolutely loved my iced latte this morning! Perfect balance of flavor + espresso. Had a wonderful conversation with the incredibly friendly employee as well.

Definitely the best REDEYE drink I’ve ever had! It puts Starbuck’s «Americano» to shame! The taste was awesome — no sugar, no creamer, just black. I filled up half way with the Midtown blend, she poured the shots, and then I topped it off with Midtown, giving it the perfect mix. Great job Caffrodite… I was amazed!

Wow — Ventura has needed a real knowledgable coffeeshop like this place for a while. Our barista was well trained in the arts of 3rd wave coffee, and even though he was pulling shots from a 15 yr old machine they tasted as fresh as anything I’ve had from Verve or Intellegensia. Great work Caffrodite!

Coming here reminds me of what coffeehouse culture is all about-the slow ritual of waking up in the morning, the communalism, and damn good cup of coffee. Christine and her crew are always welcoming, never disappointing, and embody the best of small town business. There’s also the ocean breeze coming in the cozy patio and the aroma of Jim & Rob’s Fresh Mex next door is a bonus. The spiced chai is favorite when in the afternoon when I’m not in the mood for my usual Americano. Ps-for locals they offer a great personalized system to avoid carrying/losing those gift cards, for those who like to have a little coffee budget set aside.

Endearing little place. This is another coffee spot I hit up while visiting Ventura recently. The place is small, but charming and cute. The shop offers an array of some delicious morning treats that all looked temptatiously delicious; however, I was just here for the joe. Service was extremely warm and friendly, which prompted me to give them another star. They also have a variety of self serve, freshly brewed coffee to choose from. I ended up going with just a dark french roast blend. Prices were also quite reasonable. Now aside from the charming ambiance and amiable service, I have to say, that I wasn’t necessarily fond of the coffee — just not the best. Now aside from the less than spectacular coffee, with as charming and friendly as this place is, and with how wonderful those treats all looked staring up at me, I would certainly make my way over again to give them another shot.

This has to be one of my favorite coffee shops in the area. The service is always friendly and the drinks are amazing. I haven’t tried the pastries because I usually end up getting food next store at Jim and Rob’s Fresh Grill(excellent breakfast burritos btw). I usually get the coconut drip coffee but will occasionally order the spicy chai latte — both very good. Prices are pretty standard for coffee. I would recommend giving this place a try if you find yourself looking for a good cup of coffee on main.

Im equally as addicted to the coffee and amazing, welcoming staff at Caffrodite! Lucky for me it’s right around the corner, but even if it wasn’t– I’d go out of the way for their creamy, not too sweet but just sweet enough, vanilla lattes(my favorite)!! They also have a delicious brewed Coconut coffee that is out of this world and yummy gluten free baked goods. If you haven’t been here, better check it out soon and get your coffee buzzzzz on!

Never one to seek out a Starbucks or CBTL whenever possible, and especially when I’m out of town. I was headed up to Santa Barbara for the day and wanted to find a good local coffee spot in Ventura. I came across Caffrodite and was not disappointed. I drink my coffee black, so there’s no real way of hiding how good or bad a coffee is, and I have to tell you, Caffrodite had some great coffee! My wife got an iced honey vanilla latte; I took a sip and was impressed with it as well! The lady who helped me with my drinks, who I can only assume was the owner, was super friendly. She greeted me with a smile and chatted up while I was waiting for my drinks. She also seemed to know half the people that were there by name. Overall, a great little coffee spot in Ventura!

A quaint and unassuming coffee shop on the side of the road with some awesome coffee, especially the Costa Rica blend. Plus, a large cup is pretty cheap(only $ 2.25) and the service is very friendly!

I quickly stopped in to get a cup of coffee(since I’m visiting the Ventura area) and to my surprise, they had almond milk as a milk substitute! I was able to order an almond milk latte, which is an absolute rarity when going to coffee shops(especially Starbucks)! So glad I stopped by! Definitely an awesome almond milk Latte. I will come back next time I’m in town :)

This is a quaint little coffee show that gives off a serene vibe, order you favorite beverage, grab a book or a paper and settle in for a pleasant stay. I love that they have outdoor seating as well, Ventura is so gorgeous, nothing better than to get a coffee with a friend sit and chat and take in the beautiful day.

I was told I should try this place so I did! I ordered a Vanilla Latte. It wasn’t what I was expecting — I guess I am just used to Starbucks and Coffee-bean ones which are very sweet. It took some getting used to as it really was vanilla and not the syrupy stuff they use at the other places. I really liked it — tasted kind of homemade which I guess it is! Cute little shop too. Will go again.

The BF and I love this small coffee café in Ventura. We are not sure what they use to make their coffee but it’s delicious and we always stop by when we are in the area. Parking maybe tight but there is street parking. All of the servers we have encountered are super nice and have helpful hints for us. Seating is limited but the place is quaint. They do have sweet treats to accompany your coffee and tea. Plus they have books on hand if you have some time and the books look enticing. They have their set of regulars that come in and I wish I could be one of them
