I researched Solar products and installers for over a year. I finally decided to BUY — NOT LEASE — a Solar system last November. After reading many reviews about the bigger companies you hear on the radio and TV I knew where I didn’t want to do business. I decided to: 1) BUY AMERICAN, 2) BUY LOCAL 3) COMPARE PRICE and 4) The firm had to be reputable. COASTAL SOLAR is local, family owned, which started as general contractors over 20 years ago, then started a Solar Division a few years ago. Their quote was very competitive, they installed AMERICAN panels, as I requested (made in Oregon), the install was very professional and note: they took extra care of my roof during and after the install. Lastly, they complied with my request to make the system look as «low profile» as possible. You can see my panels are there, but it is not ugly or over powering. I have 16 panels, so that is saying something! The whole experience with Costal Solar was pleasant, professional and fair. Believe me, if I was upset or simply not happy with any phase of my purchase or the product I would post it. It is a business you can walk away from feeling good.
