Foothill Technology High School

Foothill is a really good school. HOWEVER, I was the type of student who wanted to be in drama and art classes, I wasn’t to into science or math or anything and that is was foothill is most about. The drama department sucks, most of the electives are science or computer based. All classes are college prep so they are a little bit harder than those at VHS or BHS (speaking form personal expierence) so if your child is more of a slacker (ya i said it) DONT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE. If your child takes there education seriously and is good at either math or science, by all means this is a great school. But its not for everyone, let your child tell you were they want to go because my brother loved and did well at this school, but me, no i smoked in the parking.

My daughter LOVES this school! And if a high schooler loves her school, it must be a positive sign. The attention the students receive is wonderful, and it’s obvious every teacher truly cares about their students. The other two high schools in Ventura are over-​crowded, so it’s nice to have her at Foothill which is still small (900+ students). The principal (Mr. Bova) is awesome, and I hope he stays there long enough for my youngest daugter to get through there too.
