The receptionist was terribly rude. I walked in and she gave me a blank stare, assuming I would tell her why I was there. No greeting, no look to check the appointment book to see who I possibly could be. If I didn’t need a facial, I would have walked out! I am reviewing my experience getting an Aveda facial from Gloria. Gloria was very knowledgeable and gave me a nice facial with quality products. The room was not that comfortable or clean, but I enjoyed my facial nevertheless. I always love Aveda products. I didn’t get a shoulder massage with this one though.

I had my roots touched up and over all color change with Brie. She was wonderful! She listened to all of my concerns and ideas. She talked me through every step and procedure, and really knew her stuff. The end results were great and I was(and still am) really happy! I would recommend her to anyone! The salon itself is really cool as well! They offer water, coffee, or tea to all clients. They have free services like short massages for new clients, and they have an extensive line of products as well as spa services. I was very happy with my day there and I plan on making this my go-to salon!

I had a facial done by Gloria and she did a fantastic job. She was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions(it was my first facial). Gloria knows what works best for your skin and she doesn’t try to sell you products. I will definitely be going back.

A couple months ago I had a wonderful experience getting my first facial ever by Gloria! She customized my facial which I totally recommend because she really looks at your skin and knows exactly what to do. Also, she’s so knowledgeable about recommending products for your skin and making sure you come back to see your progress. She also waxes my eyebrows and knows exactly how to shape them. All in all she really knows her stuff and a pleasure to be around :)

Omg very expensive!!! $ 75 for a simple haircut. Price doesn’t agree with the pricing they have online. I thought my hair came out ok but after the blow dry and washing my hair the next day, it looks butchered:(. Not what I expected. will not be returning.

Highly recommend going here. I have really thick curly hair and always have trouble finding a hairdresser that can give me the haircut that works for my hair. Sandra was recommended to my by a friend and I am very happy I found her. She has cut my hair a couple times and I always leave happy. My hair always looks so healthy and great. I’m no longer scared to get haircuts! The prices are very reasonable and definitely worth it.

I come to this salon about once a month and I’ve always seen Sandra. She will do some color and a cut for me which has always came out perfect! She is nice and asks questions about how I want my cut and then gives great suggestions. The location of the salon is great too! Next to the gym I go to and close to trader joes so that is also convenient. I recommend anyone to come to this salon. All the stylist do a great job!

Went to Shawna for a deep conditioning treatment. My hair came out looking great! To top it off, she gave me a really beautiful blow out. Shawna is amazing, I highly recommend. Really friendly staff. Will definitely be going back.

I went to this salon since I thought maybe something new and had some extra money. Well, my stylist was ok, cut ok, color, just dark hair. I am a red head. Was going to have brows tinted and shaped, the waxing of the face and chin. Instead, the stylist who did my dull color put it on my brows, cool, normally I get it put on by my previous stylist. Was so disappointed, realized they are paid on commission which is why they push their product. Even with a $ 20 coupon, I paid a fortune for a color the couldn’t touch my other stylist. Then I am told they screwed up and would have to wait a hour for my waxing. Told them I would come back tomorrow which I will since I NEED it done. They charged me $ 20 to put the color on my hair on my brows. I look like Groucho. To the tune of $ 185.00 I left, went home and cried. I got a call from the owner who was very nice and told me they would fix it. Had the most professional wax ever. They put highlights in my hair and it is beautiful. They were very gracious to me. I highly recommend this salon.

What a joke! I went in for a hair cut, highlights & style with their advertised coupon. My apt. Was with the owner, older blond lady. Not only did she take forever because of personal conversations, my hair was damaged from being over processed, ended up being dry & brittle. She had another stylist apply a dark toner because the highlights were so light and her next client was there. Needless to say, I was not given a blowdry/style. A styling lotion was put in my hair and I was told beat to let it air dry. Once I got home and my hair was dry, I realized why they wanted me to leave with it wet, so I wouldn’t notice the overly processed highlights which the toner did not tone down much. Within three washes, the toner washed out and I was horrified that a professional stylist could do this. I called to let her know and I was told there’s nothing she could do about it since I paid for, tipped, and left the salon, and said I must have been satisfied that day or I would have said something then. Less than one week from the appointment I dyed my hair with a permanent color to cover up the over processed highlights. I’ve never been to a stylist so unprofessional. I can only recommend against the owner. Perhaps that is why she offers a great coupon, desperate for business? Update… just was told by my friend, this used to be «Blondies Salon» at another location till they reopened here under a new name. Check out reviews for their old name and you’ll see.

I have been going to Luxe for nearly 3 years now and always found the staff to be friendly and efficient. Natalie cuts my hair and she is great. She always does exactly what I want her to do. Crosby has always done a great job on my hair. He was nice enough to squeeze me in early on Saturday and was able to get highlights done as well in a short period of time. I’ve been other places but I’ve never been as satisfied as I am here. I also love their products.

Lori is the only person I’ve consistently been able to depend on for over 10 years, I have thick full platinum blonde hair down to butt w/no split ends(usually only attainable if you have extensions that wreck your hair and I’ve had those too) and it’s only because of her and the Aveda products used at the salon #the best #most natural… I’ve been to every type of salon from the shi shi Beverly Hills salon, to the $ 500 per visit places and Lori is the ONLY one who has fixed and repaired all of their mistakes… You want a VERY reasonably priced, consistently great looking hair, go see Lori at Luxe salon

I am absolutely horrified with the debacle I had to deal with 20 minutes ago! I had a hair appt. at another location and came in because I LOVE Aveda products and it’s right near my gym! I asked the receptionist how much it would be to get a blonde touch up. She told me they had a special for $ 79 for a trim and touch up. I was sold! I told her I’d be back in an hour so I could go to the gym. She called me about 10 min later to inform me that they could not do a touch up on my hair it would be too light, I came back in to discuss it with her. They were really cool and offered me a deal: $ 90 for a mini, trim, and I –believe– a hair treatment. I was excited, I told them I’d tip VERY well and that I’d be back. Go to the gym, come back exactly an hour later. Receptionist told me to put my things down at a station and she’d let my stylist know I was in. I stared at the products for about 5 — 10 min. and was greeted by a young man who took me to a different station and literally confused me. The mini idea I guess wasn’t what I was expecting — the lowlights seemed too«dark» or «natural» for the look I was going for. I understand Aveda’s concept — as I said I’m a fan and have been going to Aveda salons for a while however, it also seemed unclear and the«offer» I was going to get was clearly not relayed to the stylist. I was starting to get a little frustrated since I had already cancelled my other hair appt. after some discussion about my options, I decided to stick with my original stylist since the PRICINGANDCONCEPTISSTRAIGHTFORWARD. The stylist at Luxe told me, «Well I didn’t talk to you in the first place.» not with attitude — but that was enough for me to get up and walk out the door. I really wish you guys could have at least let him know what was going on, and made it a little clearer with your promotions/deals, and everything else instead of having me feel like a chicken with its head cut off. You guys REALLY inconvenienced my day and ruined my experience, I was really hoping to be a regular at such a quaint looking salon. Too bad.
