The tofu lettuce wraps are better at other Pick up Stix locations. Found these with old bean sprouts and dried out shredded carrots. If i had not had the lettuce wraps prepared excellently at other locations I would never get them again here. Hopefully next time they will be better.

Good food, but we both got sick. We called the restaurant to tell them so they could maybe prevent others from getting sick(maybe check the expiration dates? Do a thorough cleaning? Check food temps?) and they just said«k» and hung up. We were polite about it too. Lame.

Ugh. I’ve been here 2 too many times. First time I gave them a pass with their Orange Chicken, but I went back again last week and had the Honey Chicken for lunch and it was JUSTTHESAME! Tough, fat or gristle in it, I had to spit out several pieces of it. I do love their brown rice, so I’ll give them that. But their customer service is kinda wonky and SOMETHING needs to be done about their chicken ASAP. I will also say their chocolate fortune cookies are pretty yummy. Pretty bummed. Hope they can get their stuff together.

I really like this place. I will say though, that I have noticed a lake of consistency in their food. Kung pao sometimes with ALOT of peanuts, sometime with almost none. Same with water chest nuts. And the wait time can vary from very quick to 25 minutes. I have resorted to ordering online and picking up. Although the few things I listed, I still love the food. Fried rice is really good too. Unlike some competitors, they still use egg.

Not impressed. Glad I had a free kids meal. I ordered my son chicken and white rice. It would have been nice to know that the rice came with the chicken and sauce on top. I tasted the food. I thought the rice was hard and room temperature. Chicken was ok but salty. I’m not going back.

Like I said in a previous review, sometimes I want cheap Chinese and I want it fast. This was not the case with Pick Up Stix. The food took about 20 minutes, and it was $ 36. I ordered chow mien, fried rice, and curry. The noodles of the chow mien tasted like they had been frozen then thawed, over and over. Mushy and over done with salt. The curry was the only redeeming item. I should have gone with the other cheap, Chinese option.

First time here. Thai curry chicken lunch special is very good. I watched the chef cooking it over a very hot fire which gives the chicken and veggies a nice roasted flavor. Kyle, who took my order, was very helpful when I asked«what is good?» Even though I was sitting outside he came and checked on my meal. This is a fast food place — impressive.

It was very expensive for sub par Chinese food and they burned the hell out of my 13 $ combination fried rice.

The customer service is outstanding at this location. The cashier was more than helpful in taking my order. The food tasted great and I was pleasantly surprised by this particular locations attention to detail with their guest

I really love this place. I work in the esplanade and come here often. They are always very friendly and kind to everyone. They keep the place very clean and tidy. The quality it very good for a fast food place. And I would recommend it to any one

Just threw out the majority of our order. SALT salt salt. Now, I like my food salty and even more than most, but this was beyond belief. We tried several dishes and most had the same aftertaste like burned soy sauce. The pot stickers were eaten buy the kids, but that was it. We can usually demolish an order of noodles, but most went to the trash. Too bad. We would have really liked a convenient fast Asian place.

The food sucks really bad, but the staff was very friendly. I will never eat here again and would advise to order from a non-fast food style chinese restaurant and wait the extra few minutes. Blah! Now i need to go get a lunch… again…in the same day!

I eat here pretty often and really enjoy the fact that they are very consistent. The food is ways good and doesn’t change. I would give a 5 star if there wasn’t so much sodium in their dishes but besides that great place to eat.

House Special Chicken and chow mein are my go to items at Pick Up Stix. I always prefer over Panda Express.

I LOVE Chinese food and am very tolerant of so many types. I was considering going to Panda Express and went here to try it instead. Biggest mistake ever. I couldn’t eat more than 2 bites of my food. I ordered the orange chicken(spicy kind) and the chow mein. I got two bites into the chow me in before I bit down on something so hard it felt like it was going to crack my tooth. I still have no clue what it was. I just had to spit out my food. I decided to try the orange chicken instead but the first bite I took tasted like the piece of chicken bad been rolled in sour sugar sauce. I could taste the granules of sugar. So disgusting. So I couldn’t eat my meal at all. All I had was the tepid water and my fortune cookie. Will never go back.

Came here for dinner about 30 minutes before closing. The store was clean and service was good. We felt welcomed to be there. I ordered shrimp and veggies. It was delicious and lots of garlic. Portion size is good. They were out of brown rice but I was ok with white rice. My boys ordered beef and broccoli and beef chow mein. They both enjoyed their meal. The people working here were very friendly and the customer service is great. Prices are a bit more than other fast food but I think it’s worth it due to fresh, quality ingredients. They also have healthier options available.

It was our first time in any Pick Up Stix. Located off the 101 fwy, off Telephone Rd. exit, in the Barnes & Noble strip mall, by Panera Bread. On one wall they say their concept is taking traditional Chinese flavors and ADAPTING them to American tastes. Well there you go, forewarned. Ventured in to explore KIDSEATFREE opportunities. Apparently, this is THEONLY franchise in the company that honors the family like that. Love it! So the specifics: Saturday & Sunday ALLDAY, buy 1 entrée, get 1 «kids wok» free(normally $ 4.99) for any child under 12 y/o. The counter guys were helpful and patient while we ordered. Everything is made-to-order, so there is a little wait involved. It didn’t seem like a long wait, but you can call ahead or order online before you arrive. What we sampled for a late Saturday lunch… *KID’S WOK(FREE!): Comes with either House Special Chicken, Honey Crispy Chicken, or White Meat Chicken Dippers. You can choose brown or white rice, or for 50 cents more you can opt for soft noodles, a.k.a. chow mein. The young squires REALLY enjoyed the House Special(tender pieces in a sauce that’s slightly sweet but flavorful) & Honey Crispy chicken(breaded tender pieces in a sweet sauce). Brown rice was perfectly steamed. Also comes with Mandarin oranges & kids drink. *CHICKENDUMPLINGS(8FOR $ 4.99): Steamed or deep fried, chose steamed. My mini-me entourage devoured it. Didn’t even have a chance. *THAICOCONUTCURRY w/TOFU($ 7.99): Freshly made. Nice sized tofu chunks that are breaded and deep fried(you can opt for steamed tofu as well), mixed in with a good serving of veggies, cooked in a curry sauce that is creamy & sweet. Pretty good stuff. *THAIPEANUTCHICKENSALAD($ 7.79): Looks premade. It’s served cold. Eh, not so exciting. *GENERALTSAO’S CHICKEN($ 7.99): Probably one of the better ones I’ve tried. Good sized pieces with a tasty light kick to it. Surprised me on this one! Looks like a fast food place but as we ate our food there, the staff would come and ask if we needed anything. Ah, a little customer service here too! Not bad. I do like that they have a brown rice & tofu options @ no extra charge. And the KIDSEATFREE promotion is certainly a bonus to the community. A pleasant surprise here. Something worth considering!
