I bought a groupon for highlights cut and blow dry, I decided I didn’t want a hair cut so I just got blow dry and partial highlights. Well it took about two hours, I asked her to match the highlights to the ones I already had. When I got out I realized my hair looks exactly the same which is very grown out at the top!

Kyle recently suggested hair extensions due to my thinning hair problem (it is an age thing girls). It was the best suggestion ever. I was very apprehensive about them but it turned out way better than I could have imagined. Kyle was so engaging and fun to be around. I have had so many compliments on my new «do» but no one knows exactly what is different. The extensions give it the fullness I had years ago. It matched perfectly and it easy to take care of. I can’t thank him enough. I would recommend it to anyone whose hair is thinning. I will definitely keep them up in the future. What a difference!!! Kyle, you are a gem!

Great salon in Ventura! My first time there and I’m very picky when it comes to hair salons/​stylists! I purchased a groupon not really knowing anything/​anyone there… and I was very pleased! TIFFANY was awesome! New to the area and a stylist/​cutter at Paul Mitchell schools, she is the bomb! LOVED her! She was so easy to talk with and took a real interest in what I wanted! Will definitely be going back! Thanks Kathleen for recommending her and THANKS TIFFANY for my awesome cut!

I went to Studio K yesterday and had my hair done by Tiffany for the first time! She was an amazingly sweet girl ! I have long hair so I don’t trust just anyone, she herself has long hair so she could relate. She was very professional and creative and knew her stuff! I would definitely recommend her to anyone!

OMG!!! I just got my hair done by Jordan. First of all, she is the nicest person ever. I loved her personality. I was extremely embarrassed by my hair which looked really awful, and she was super nice about it. She was also very engaging and sweet.
MY HAIR LOOKS AMAZING. I got it done an hour ago and I’ve already gotten 3 compliments! She turned it the perfect color, matched the swatch I chose EXACTLY.
The salon is really pretty inside and has a laid back atmosphere.
I would highly recommend getting your hair done here, and I would also highly recommend scheduling with Jordan.

I booked this service as a Groupon deal, so was really hoping it would be OK.
From the friendly receptionist who booked my service to my departure from Studio K sporting my awesome Brazilian blowout, I was thrilled.
The only issue was being told to turn right and not left on Main Street, so I got a little lost, but that was my responsibility anyways.
Kyle is the MAN!
He was genuinely friendly, did not cut corners (rinsed 3 times and blew it dry 2 times) and overall, did a fabulous job. He really knows how to use the round brush and made my hair gorgeous.
Further, he was really in sync with what I wanted and was a pleasure to chit-​chat with.
The salon was conveniently located, had ample free parking in the lot behind, and was really cute. I loved the chandeliers and décor, the jellybean machine, and visuals one can watch on the plasma screen… and will be back.

What a great find! I have been seeking a hair stylist since I moved to Ventura and finally found him at Studio K! Kyle is wonderful! He is welcoming and open while giving great suggestions and listened to what I needed based on my hair type thus making this a truly amazing experience! I will be sure to come back and I highly recommend Kyle!

I have been a long standing client of Kathleen and her associates. I LOVE this salon. I always leave feeling pampered and taken care of. I get exceptional hair cuts and color processing. Libby is attentive and sincerely wants you to thrilled with your style and color. Libby listens to you and has a great professional approach to style. She does a great job. I can’t imagine going anyplace else.

I found this salon via a Groupon deal. Unfortunately, this salon is on Groupon for a reason… I had Libby do my hair, and she didn’t listen to me at all. The deal was for a cut and highlights. I expressed (I thought) very clearly that I wanted the highlights to be subtle and natural (after all, this was my first time ever dying or highlighting my hair). But when she FINALLY washed out my hair and revealed the color (and I say finally because it took her a ridiculously long time), it was all bleached light whitish blonde with ugly dark streaks! It was such a dramatic, awful change that looked horrible on me… But most importantly, it wasn’t what I wanted at all – she completely ignored what I said. At that point, I realized just how clueless she was and luckily walked out of there before I let her ruin my hair further with a pair of scissors. Thankfully, I just had someone else fix my hair – and he had to do quite a lot of work to undo what she did – but it looks worlds better (he is a genius… see my other review for his masterful work). Lesson learned: ask yourself why someone is giving such a seemingly good Groupon deal… Because if they are providing a one-​star service in a crappy salon, it is WELL worth it to go to someone else.

I had a fantastic experience at this hair salon. Kyle is absolutely talented! He did an amazing job with my hair. I love the new color and hair cut! He is very friendly and really cared about me being happy with the service he provided!

Huge thank you to Libby Crowe!!! I’ve been seeing her since she was in Beauty School, and she is definitely a master stylist. Recently I cheated on her and it was a disaster… Thank God, she took me back and hooked this girl up!!!

I am from out of town & stopped in for a blow out. I have very crazy curly hair but Libby did a fantastic job and took her time! her prices are reasonable and she’s was professional and pleasant. I would recommend this to my friends in the area.
