Today 1 star. Not cool guy behind the counter. Wish I’d seen the name tag. Not necessarily what you said, it was your whole attitude from the start. It kept going down hill. Never tell your customers you’re going to just charge the highest price. If your store doesn’t do creative drinks (like other shops) say that, not in an ever so rudely demeanour I don’t know what that means. NOT COOL! YES, we took our business elsewhere.

I’m not the hang-​out-​in-​coffee-​house type, but I needed WiFi while in Oxnard and stopped here. I ordered the ginormous iced tea (African-​something was very yummy) and they got the order wrong and immediately re-​made it. The WiFi was fast and easy to use. It got a bit crowded, but the tables turn over pretty quickly. The baristas are friendly. No complaints except for parking.

So I wrote an extremely long review right before my phone died on me… So here’s a shorter and straight to the point review:
This CB&TL location is my favorite out of every one I’ve been to. The entire staff is awesome! They are half the reason why my boyfriend and I come daily… Susie the manager is really personal and sweet. As well as everyone else. If you’re looking for great & fast service, amazing pastries & coffee, or just a place to relax in an awesome environment then I highly recommend this location :)

I started coming here to study and grab a quick something (since usually CBTL is better than Starbucks) since I moved back home. The baristas are really nice. They introduced me to their $ 1 Macchiato Mondays, super yummy! It doesn’t get crowded here (mostly elderly people and house wives).
My favorites here are the Caramel Ice Blended, Nonfat Vanilla Latte, and Iced Swedish Berries Tea (when I want to feel no-​so fat).
The only reason I docked them a star was because they seem to not carry agave as often as they should. I’ve never had a problem with the other locations regarding my light sweeteners. Other than that. its a great CBTL.

Everyone is so friendly here. I like their coffee a lot. I’m not an avid coffee guy but I enjoy it from time to time. Went here to do my homework. The atmosphere is peaceful, music is great and workers are so friendly. I got to talk to Manny-​one of the cool baristas about God! How cool is that?! Manny is a great super kind barista. I recommend you tip him! P. s always try their coffee of the day if your looking for an inexpensive coffee

I like this location near Trader Joe’s, which makes a nice combo trip: iced tea, outdoor tables with nice plantings, free wifi, and grocery shopping across the street. There are plenty of well spaced tables inside and out, power outlets, and windows which give it an open feel. I’m hooked on their Anniversary Blend, and their pleasant efficient service.

I like CB&TL, prefer it over Starbucks anyday! Nice big tables, no real complaints here except I’m freezing!!! I’ll remember to bring a sweater the next time I come here to study!

One of the better places for laptoppers in Ventura, CBTL has good a/​c, bathrooms, ample power outlets, plenty of small tables, free wi-​fi (it’s limited to 2 hours though) and easy parking. It looks and feels like a chain (and yes, it is a chain). I’ve always associated CBTL with blended drinks. I used to frequent the one in Brentwood (West LA) and I saw a picture of the Brentwood store on the wall… learned that it was their very first store.
The pastry case has plenty of bagels, cupcakes, Krispy Kreme donuts, muffins, cake, etc. Like Starbucks and Peet’s, they sell signature mugs and thermoses and coffee accessories. They also let you send coffee to US troops for $ 9.95 a bag.
* Latte ($ 3.45): foam was too airy, coffee was bitter but strong enough, just okay
