My husband and I felt deeply in ‘like’ with a sofa & chair at C&B but unwilling(so far) to shell out the $ 4000+ for the duo, I searched Unilocal and found the terrific reviews for this place. Maybe at one point it deserved 5 stars due to the great deals, but I’m hoping to spare others in driving there for ‘nothing’… quite literally. They are CLOSING. I went into the warehouse which was over a 100 degrees and one single worker told me in Spanish«Welcome to the oven» and then gave a friendly laugh when I said«Is this all you have?» and then went on to tell me they were closing and only had about 4 unattractive sofa sets and about a dozen accent chairs. Apparently the owners mostly deal in ‘wholesale’ and they will be renting out the place once they get rid of whatever is left… which isn’t much. A simple call would have saved me, so if you want to verify the info, give them a call before you drive there. I happily ran back to my air-conditioned car.

Great quality for the price. I looked and looked and looked, and was so happy when I arrived at the warehouse for (maybe it’s just me, but there’s a lot of crap out there if you’re trying to spend a modest amount of money.) I found a fabulous leather sofa for under $ 600. and they have really nice and inexpensive chairs, I’ll probably be back for those later. Cute pieces, and did I mention, really good quality? Molly is a sweetie. I bought the sofa. Called in the morning to say I was picking it up — and within the hour they had it all wrapped up and ready to go for me. The placed it on my Home Depot $ 20 truck and I was off to the races. Nice.

So Furniture-Closeout isn’t a thrift store, but the prices are lower than some furniture at actual thrift stores. Therefor I’m adding it to the List! Here it goes… I found this place when we 1st moved here in March. I was looking for furniture and started visiting a few furniture stores from the BargainsLA website. My territory expanded in the new year and I happened upon it again this week. Yeah! I totally agree with the other 5 star reviewers… this place rocks. All the furniture is nice quality overstocks that lean towards a more traditional feel. That being said, many of the simple shapes and sizes could easily be added to any décor. They have accent chairs galore, and occasionally there are some really unique pieces. Prices are pretty cheap and it’s totally hit or miss… but you can check their website for the inventory or call if your looking for something specific.

This place is an amazing find. I decided to check it out after seeing them advertise a Saturday Sale and it did NOT disappoint. I was surprised they were offering these great pieces at the prices they were but like the prior review says… it is all brand new stuff that is left over from large orders or samples the manufacturer made. I got a few pieces and I LOVE them. I was a bit concerned about quality but the pieces I got over a year ago are still in amazing shape. They’re open once a month on Saturday for a sale.

Okay Unilocalers, I found this business on my favorite website called Bargains LA. I work in downtown and I checked it out a lunch. This place is a hidden gem. If you have a home you need to furnish or stage, this great. It is a huge warehouse packed with unique furnishings you don’t see in those huge chain stores. If you check out their website, you will see they have high quality furniture for about 40%-75% retail. Many beautiful sofas are less than $ 695. Even stylish chairs and chaise lounges you would see in designer show rooms are $ 99 — $ 399. Come to find out, the reason why they can price it so low is it is a manufacturer’s distribution outlet with market samples, pieces customers have defaulted on, new floor models and overproduction. I have seen them open on Saturdays, but call ahead for hours.
