I don’t typically review places I’ve only been to once. I am making an exception for the cabin.
This is exactly the reason we stay off of the expressway and stick go smaller highways.
The food tasted great, the tater tots were a hit with the whole family. My son’s Cuban was even too big for his 12-​year-​old appetite.
We love the small and cozy atmosphere, the service was great, and the prices were pretty average.
This was probably my favorite place we ate on our 8-​day road trip.

Stopped here for breakfast on our way to Madison, In. Read some not great reviews but, we had a good experience. It was obvious the locals like it as the wait staff knew several of the people. Always a good sign to me. Our food was great. My hubs had the deluxe breakfast bowl & I had the 3 egg omelette & added mushrooms, onion & peppers w/​the hash browns & wheat toast. Our food tasted great! I was concerned because we were served our food fairly quickly but it was deelish! The hash browns were amazing!!! We’d go back!

Went their on a hot day in search of food beer and cool air. Only got cool air. The food was generic. Had a terrible excuse for a Cuban sandwich and my friends fish was dry. Good fries though. Beer mug was frosty, but they only have basic macros. Our server was not interested in serving us apparently. Table veneer was peeling and the chairs wobbled. Quaint small town atmosphere. I wanted to like it, but bad service and bad food make it hard to return willing. Hope you change the staff in the future.

Delicious food and ginormous portions, unbelievable for the price! Great service and really charming and unique atmosphere! If we’re out this way again I will definitely stop in before hitting the road, perfect ending to our camping trip!
