Restaurant on one side, bar on other.
Not a lot of selection on the menu, and the closest thing to craft beer was a bottle of Shiner.. .
But not bad at all. Good waitstaff, food came out quickly and hot. Had the CFS with fries and green beans — all were tasty. If I am in the area again, I’d stop here.

The best place in Vernon Tx to eat. The food is AMAZING! We had a variety of food wings fish … Ray’s famous nacho are the absolute best who would have thought a fish and wing spot would be so great. Also a great place to karaōke!

Don’t judge a book by its cover.
The outside of this restaurant does not do its food or inside justice. It was very clean and the food was GREAT. The menu has many options and our waitress was very helpful and kind. We loved the fried pickles, wings, and grilled cheeses (as simple as a grilled cheese sounds, they really were great and my daughters really enjoyed them!) Safe to say, we were far from disappointed and very impressed with the food and service! I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for good food and a good family safe environment.

Second, third, forth ETC! No worse, no better just excellent, Excellent! Fish with rubs, yes olé my! The blue cheese has found light and chunks and chunks!
Rays is a great place, just like back home, i can see everyone knows everyone, good people at Rays!

This place is now Catfish Grill, had small salad bar and catfish buffet. No fruit available for my grand daughter but was able to get her chicken nuggets.
Buffet was pretty good, be ready for a mostly fried buffet. One of the best tarter sauces I have had for long time.

Stopped by here on a roadtrip and it turned out to be a great stop. The burger I got was really good. Moist and well cooked. Good portions for the money as well.
The place is now Catfish Grill and the catfish was actually pretty good. You get lots of it too.

Ray’s is no longer here. It’s the Catfish Grill now. The catfish and hush puppies were good! Lots of locals which is usually a good sign.

Sold out of wings at 7:30 on a Saturday night?!
We stopped for a quick dinner on the last leg of our road trip. Sadly, they were out of wings, so we ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich (tasty) — fries for him (yum) and lemon pepper corn for me (meh).
Overall, the beer was cheap and cold, a lots of football was on… but it was disappointing that a wing place was out of its namesake dish.

It does have tvs with sports shows. they were out of wings at 1 oclock and everything else was frozen and fried or canned. No taste.

Great place to stop if you’re traveling off Hwy 287! Fried Catfish, hush puppies, and tartar was great! Kids can even get their choice of 4 wings on their kids menu. Grilled chicken salad was tasty and fresh! Took a chance and we were impressed!

This was a great place to stop and we made it just in time! Traveling home, on Easter, we were having a problem finding anything open for lunch. We saw this place and called to check their hours. It was 1:22 and they closed at 2:00, for the holiday. So we made our way.
Upon arrival we saw that the parking lot was full, good sign. We went inside and waited a couple minutes to be seated. Their menu is varied but only one sided, which cuts down on flipping back and forth. They have a selection of sandwiches, burgers, fish plates and wings. Oh, the wings!
Even the kids menu has a wings option. That makes it very family friendly as usually we have to get plain wings with a side of sauce so the three yr old can share.
The husband had sweet and spicy wings, which he said was just like his at home. Now THAT’S a compliment! Our son had garlic Parmesan wings and I had a catfish plate.
The portions were large but we didn’t get to-​go boxes. If ever I’m near here again, I’ll go here.

Ate here for the first time, the service was great and the catfish was delicious, i really liked the breading, i had the garden salad, it was fresh and very colorful, I had the pepper corn, it was very tasteful. Overall it was an awesome meal, well worth the price, the atmosphere is very cozy, the décor is fresh and the restaurant is very clean. Will be back for sure whenever I am in town.
