We had lunch here today. We started off with the sushi, most of it seemed like crab rolls until the last one on the line, which looked liked tuna, but It all tasted great and was fresh. The steamed clams were a favorite along with the wonton soup. You can’t go wrong for eight dollars a person.

Delish!!! Just moved here and found my go to Chinese buffet. Large variety including sushi! If there had been a bar for my scorpion bowl I would’ve given 5 stars :) the place feels bright and clean as well.

This is probably the best buffet I’ve been to in ct. It’s clean and the food tasted very good every time I’m here. I’m talking about weekends and week days. Who ever is preparing the food or cooking it, they are definitely doing it right. Every time the new food comes out, it taste as good as the dish before. Recipe on point

Probably one of the better buffets around town but don’t eat here after 8:30−9pm. They stop cooking around those times so you’ll get food that’s been sitting there for hours.

This is probably the best buffet around the area and better than the previous one at this location. Hot and sour soup, sushi and stir fry ate my favorite things here. The food tastes fresh. a buffet so the service is just people picking up your plate after you are done and bringing you a drink.

I went to there at 8pm, standing at the front desk for 1 min and no one said anything to us. Waitresses just took a look at me and my friend and ignore me and my friend. After waiting for over 1 min, a lady asked us to give her one min but never looked at us while talking to us. You should fire her if you want more customers. I’ll never go there again.

À real secret is the made to order stir fry. You pick out the veggies and meat. They stir fry it in front of you. The prepared dishes are very tasty and hot. The peel and eat shrimp are a hit. My posse like the fried chicken and soups.

This place has changed a lot and now(I am assuming under the new management) it is in my opinion the best Asian buffet of it’s kind in Hartford area. Their business model is quality not quantity. The variety of foods is excellent, with cool new recipes introduced frequently.(Example: today I discovered fried fish skin chips, are you kidding me? yum!) The food is always fresh and trays are replenished thoroughly. Great quality and choices of sushi rolls and sashimi. Awesome variety of seafood. Raw oysters are supe fresh and never run out. Crawfish which I love is cooked perfectly in authentic Louisiana style. Soups are great too and include miso soup as well. If they ever add Tom Yum to the soup choices I am moving in! Great place, give it a try!

I LOVETHISPLACE!!! This is probably one of the classiest buffets in CT. It’s super nice inside, reminds me of a Las Vegas Buffet and the food is HOT, CONSISTENT and DELICIOUS! The service is great also but everything else is over the top. My girlfriend hates buffets but actually asks me to go here.

3 Stars for a buffet standard. Other reviewers praising the sushi baited me. Disappointed though. This place does jack of all trades, master of none. Except their fried chicken wings. Crisp, crunchy, and moist. Best item of all. Will not return, $ 30 for 2 of us including drinks — should have gone to Sichuan Pepper for the money.

I was impressed with how modern and clean everything was. The food was fresh — not charred or left sitting out in the open for 4 hours. The staff was polite and attentive. Will def. be coming back.

I went there Last night with my co workers for dinner. Let’s make it straight. * Food: — Hibachi was very Salty. — Sushi: NO Sashimi. I saw same review on here« Unilocal» but we were here on Saturday Dinner, so I was expecting Sashimi should be served but NOT! * Oh, and they charge $ 2 for Hot tea, usually is free in any other places, it was first time I paid for Hot tea. * Service: As soon as walked in, the person who escort us to table was very un professional. We asked different table then her and waitress start talking Chinese each other and looked us weird. While we sat and eating, they were keep watching us behind the wall. I mean Watching!!! Feel so uncomfortable. When we were leaving, No ONE said bye or anything. They need to training and learn the«Customer Service». First, the Manager got a be replaced! I would never ever going back here. Even to all my friend, never recommend this place!

Solid Chinese buffet. Decent selection of food and sushi. First time I went they had a Father’s Day special with lobster, but on subsequent visits I have not seen that dish since. Oysters are decent but did not see lemons or anything else for it. Has decent sashimi and it is replenished fairly quickly. Sushi selection and type are varied and tastes good. Not bad for the price and food selection.

Hands down the best Chinese/sushi buffet around. I say sushi buffet because other than misaki, they have the most sushi, maki, and shashimi for a buffet. Really fresh the two times I went. I’m going again tonight. My kids absolutely love this place. They love the shashimi and all the Chinese food. They are Chinese so they know. The rest of the food is really good and have a large raw bar and Mongolian grill. Bring the most pickiest of eaters and sushi lovers. The three of us eat well over $ 100 of sushi and at $ 30 for us it’s unbeatable. Remember it’s a buffet people. Don’t go late at night and expect fresh filled food. Go early!!!

There are not a lot of varieties compared to the other buffet restaurants. Also, we went there at 8:15pm, there were only two pieces of sashimi left and they never refill it anymore. However, my friend and I immediately regretted after having a bite of the sashimi as it is uncomfortably warm. Regardless the cold dishes, the hot dishes were better. I especially like the chicken dishes and shrimp dishes but would not recommend lobsters. Overall, I would not recommend my friends to come until they have more variety and provide better sashimi and sushi.

Horrible. Came in at 930pm. Had 4 workers and 1 manager come up to me telling me they are closing at 10 and rushing us out the door. I said it’s fine and we are in for a quick bite. Came in here thinking there was going to be crab legs due to their commercial. Boy was I wrong. Granted it was close to closing but there was about 4 pieces of sushi available. Not once could anyone answer any of my questions. It was tough trying to communicate with the workers. Was really curious if they have good sushi as the pictures all around the restaurant depict. They just looked at me like I was an alien. I came home and had an urge to throw up. I ended up throwing up.

Got there at 9:50pm(after a theater play at a local high school), sign on the door said that they’re open until 11:00pm. Door was still open but when we entered everybody looked at us rudely like we interrupted a funeral. They kept on yelling«closed, closed.» I told them they had to change the sign with the hours of operation on their door and left their establishment. First and last time I’ve been there. There are far too many restaurants in the area for them to be rude. I’d give them 0 stars if I could!

Stopped in for lunch on Monday, 3/23, to see the upgrades and try out the buffet. Interior is an incredible improvement to what the restaurant looked like before. Comfortable seating and a good layout. Buffet area has been moved to the back of the restaurant which makes for better access than the previous set up. Was seated immediately and the wait staff were very attentive clearing plates and providing drink refills. For the décor, staff, and the price for lunch($ 7.99 plus $ 1.99 for a drink) I would give the restaurant 4 stars. The food however I would have to rate as 2 stars. Granted this is buffet food but I was still expecting something to grab my attention and be able to say it was memorable. Unfortunately that didn’t happen. I’m comparing my visit to the food that was available in the previous buffet before anyone thinks I’m comparing it to some of the better Chinese restaurants we have in the area. First the labels for the dishes need to be organized. They are located on the ‘sneeze’ shields above the food and if you won’t look closely you could miss them. Also, they were not always over the food they should have been so in some cases you were left guessing as to what you were taking. In some cases there were no labels at all. The hot and sour soup lacked the heat that you would normally expect from the soup. The dumplings and spring rolls were good but most of the other foods were bland in their taste. And in some cases, even though the food was on a steam table, the food was lukewarm or even cold. I’m not a big sushi fan so I didn’t try that but it looked fresh and was constantly being replenished. Nor did I have anything from the Hibachi grill, maybe next visit if there is one. Went looking for the hot mustard and it was pointed out to me where it was. Still couldn’t find it and had to interrupt one of the people behind the buffet counter who was texting on their phone only to find out they didn’t have any. But this pointed out where their condiments were located, in squeeze bottles to the rear of the buffet station and the only way to figure out what was what was to remove one of the bottles and then push the other around. All this time leaning under the ‘sneeze’ shield, not a good setup. Given that this restaurant was just opening up it may take them some time to work out the kinks. Maybe a visit in another 6 months just to check and see how things have improved may be worth it.

First proud helper here! Yay! We’ve been waiting for this place to open for a while, residing so close to the area. Newly renovated with grand opening just this weekend. Very nicely decorated and clean inside. Food: satisfied 5 stars for their food selection. In addition to the regular Chinese foods, you have sushi with sashimi selections on sushi boat, even hibachi which not many customers took advantage of. Can you believe that they have frog legs too! Soup choices included seafood soup in addition to the typical egg drop, hot and spicy and wonton soup. Happy! Some other food selection as well with pizza etc. certain food were definitely more on the oily or salty side which was a downer. Disappointed that they didn’t have unique flavored ice cream such as green tea or red bean :( Service: decent. Took away our finished plates fast which is always a plus. We witnessed two bday there. They would play happy bday song and bring you a cake with candle. Environment: good for casual dining and family. Newly renovated. Nice entrance and big buddha. Enjoyed the simplicity and modern Asian feel of the place. Table stocked with salt and pepper etc. not a fan of the dining hall type of napkin dispenser. Bathroom is clean and pleasant. Overall: 4⁄5 is an awesome rating. Not very busy considering but business should pick up with more returning customers. Price for the food and selection is unbeatable! $ 11.99 for weekend! How can you beat that! Just come here instead of sushi buffet for half the price! We might make this a regular place when we need a place for dinner!
