Vernon Self Storage

Been a customer here for about ten years, and I recommend it. The place is clean, the climate control is great, and the people who work here are nice and friendly. I moved my space once, and am in the process of doing so again and they were really helpful about being flexible with dates, not demanding or rigid. I appreciate this place.

When your girlfriend breaks up with you and you have to find somewhere to store all your stuff, immediately, but you really don’t have a whole lot of energy to investigate safe yet economical options in the vicinity of NYC, Vernon Self Storage is pretty much a ray of sunshine in a world of gloom. (Not that this happened to me – OK, obviously, it did.)
Some years back I had to put an apartment full of stuff (including several hundred books) into storage, pronto, and a friend who kept some of her belongings there suggested Vernon, for which I am extremely grateful. The storage units are large and secure, and I was able to fit everything into one unit. It was just about the only thing that worked well at a crummy time. I’ve kept the unit for the past four years, with no problems at all. The rates are great and the people who work there are really nice and friendly. It’s month-​to-​month, so at some point when I need all that stuff again, I can go and get it, without breaking a contract and paying a fee. That’s handy, too.
