Good service and good food, it is worth a drive an hour to the New Hong Kong Restaurant to eat, because I love the food over there and there’s beautiful river view as well when you seat and eat.

Great tasting food with friendly service and generous portion sizes. I go at least every week when i’m in the mood for Chinese. I get their General Tso Chicken, extra spicy and i’m thoroughly satisfied every time. The food usually only takes about 15 minutes to get out. Their house tea is delicious.
It’s a little bit out of the way from the main strip of town, but definitely worth it. If you’re fishing at the lake, it’s only a couple blocks away.

Service was good, but the food was not. We ordered out and only one of the 4 dishes was edible. We ended up throwing most of it away. The chow mein tasted funny, like it was cooked in fish water. Chicken was rubbery and the batter was bland and overcooked. This is my first post and I feel badly, but wanted to warn others.

They’re really friendly here; they’ll even make you dinner at closing time.
The prices are really affordable and the food quality is great.
You can either go for some Chinese, or just a burger and fries ($ 4).

This place is such a wonderful surprise! My husband and I found it two years ago. We were starving and in the middle of nowhere on this beautiful country road. As we came to a curve in the road, my husband saw the sign. I was not too sure about eating Chinese food in a small town, but we went in to check it out. It was clean and smelled good. We sat at a table that had a beautiful view of the river and ate the best Chinese food I have ever had. It was served by friendly people and the service was great! We have been talking about it since and just planned this years vacation around going through Vernonia, so we could eat here again! It was everything we remembered. We will go again!
