And here I thought the food would taste more like jail food, but I was wrong. Had the opportunity to stop for a quick bite while filling up the tank. Gas prices were a few cents higher than those down the block, but I was hungry and the place was recommended. East in or carry out — they serve both.

OK first and foremost this IS a gas station. But as far as gas station food goes I like it! I like the steak and eggs for breakfast (it isn’t on the menu but they will make it for you) or the steak and shrimp for dinner with collards and jambalaya if they have it. There are a few tables for eating there or you can call in to carry out.
