We are out of towners visiting local friends who brought us here because it’s one of their favorite restaurants. After eating here, I can see why. Very good food with very good prices. All together, we had 4 adults and 5 kids. They seated us quickly and served us efficiently. The menu had lots of choices and it was tough deciding but my wife and I both had fish tacos. They were somewhat unique tasting, but they were fantastic!!! The chips and fresh salsa’s were really good too. The chilled glass mugs with Negro Modelo on tap was the icing on the cake! Would love to try this again next time we’re in town!

Food is always great! Look forward to my weekly night out here but service is hit or miss depends on waitress you get but hey even that is consistent. We have accepted the fact if we get a certain waitress we will be there for a while longer.

Bland. The biggest problem with this place is that everything is bland. If they own any seasonings besides the salt and pepper on the tables it does not show. The only thing on my plate that seemed to have any spice on it was the cole slaw. That’s right, I got cole slaw at a Mexican restaurant. I cannot confirm that it was spiced, as I did not try it. The burritos, rice, and beans that were on my plate were certainly very bland. The salsa provided when you are seated is cold and resembles a bland tomato soup more than a salsa. Everything in it is huge chunks, as «dice» is clearly not in their vocabulary. The same is true for their queso, which was, you guessed it, bland. I think both the salsa and the queso were just ingredients combined, rather than anything simmered or cooked to meld the flavors. Their chips, while not quite stale, were certainly not fresh.

This would be a 4 but… The 2.50 margaritas are Not Margaritas. By definition(I checked) Margaritas are made with tequila apparently no one told them that here. They are made with wine and therfore not a Margarita. My chorizo burrito was tasty but covered In cheese which to me is an enchilada they offer lunch special during week and a reasonable early bird every day.

I got the asada burrito and enjoyed it. It was really big and that’s what you hope for when you go to a local Mexican restaurant. Good prices as well.

Service is hit or miss, but no denying it’s awesome Tex-Mex. Try the crab enchis or the Enchiladas Durango, they will def fill you up. Wine and beer only at this location.

Close by and pretty good nachos. Chips and Salsa are homemade. Staff could be more attentive. Busy on weekend nights. Take service is available for something on the run.

Plain and simple the areas only mexican Restaurant I like. I highly recommend. Prices are reasonable and quality of food is real Mexican. I have had some less than attentive servers but it makes up for the food and price.

My wife and I stopped in on Sunday afternoon. The food is great. Affordable Mexican cuisine with good portion sizes. The only problem here is the service. Our waiter was really trying his best, he was new and was handling every table in the restaurant. There was a woman manager there but she just sat back and let him run his laps. In a pinch this place was fine, but on our next visit to Vero Beach I will be going somewhere else.

This restaurant has some of the worst service I’ve ever had. Waited 20 minutes just to order. The margaritas were all mix with no alcohol. We waited 35 minutes for our food. When we got our food, the beef was terrible like it came from a can. The chips and salsa was good, although you have a $ 1.29 charge to get refill. Our waiter had black under his eyes like he hadn’t slept in 3 days and was on cocaine. The food was marginal. Getting the check took another 10 minutes. Completely slow and awful service. I had to get up 2 times to get our waiter’s attention in the kitchen to order and to get our checks. I will never be back here.

My husband and I love Mexican food and its really hard to find authentic Mexican food. This place serves really good Mexican food and the portions are very filling. The customer service was very good and I highly recommend it!

Ok, this is the sister restaurant for Ay Jalisco II and had dinner there last night. Same great, moderately priced food and on Monday nights the Margaritas are $ 2.50 and they are really, really good. Just the ones on the rocks, not the frozen ones. But, I have to admit the service at this location is nowhere near as good as Ay Jalisco II. We kept having to flag down the waitress and that always irritates me. Bottom line on this location of Ay Jalisco? Same good food, poor service.

Really more Tex Mex than Mex Mex! Good rice and beans. The Chili Relleno was great the taco was hamburger with very little spice. Their salsa was chunky and flavorful. My wife had the seafood enchiladas and thought they were delicious with a good blend of shrimp crab and scallops. If your looking for authentic Mexican food the only thing that would fit that bill was the Tacos Al Pastor. Good service and chips and salsa

I hate to write a bad review as we found this place years ago and have been fans ever since. The food is still very good… not 5 star but very good and filling. Recently though there have been some changes that will probably deter me from going back anytime soon: 1. the last 2 times we went, we requested a certain booth and a waitress(same one both times) got really angry. I am assuming she was supposed to be our waitress and this messed things up somehow. The second time she just handed us the menus at the door and huffed off. I have worked my whole life in the service industry and I was just shocked. 2. twice I have requested«no tomatoes, extra lettuce.»(yes, I’m a Jersey girl and I hate tomatoes… that used to kill my father). Both times I was charged for the(iceberg) lettuce. Ok, I can deal with that even though a little strange but, here’s the kicker, both time I received no extra lettuce. I have dined there often enough and I am a boring person and order the same thing almost every time so I do know. Once I received the bill with the charge, most of the meal is gone so how do I point and say, ««what extra lettuce???» Anyway, being made to feel uncomfortable because you want a certain table and being charged for something you do not receive does not make for a nice evening,.

This place is a local favorite! There are two locations and I personally prefer the one closer to the beach in the shopping center with too jays. It’s bigger and decorated more nicely. They also offer beer on tap and the other location doesn’t. I absolutely love the queso dip but really anything on the menu is good. The prices are cheap and you get a lot of food!
