We’ve enjoyed Chopstix 3 or 4 times and would recommend trying it. We usually order Singapore chow mein fun(9.75) and have shared the generous portion. It is very good and just a bit spicey hot. Also recommend the Shrimp lo mein.

A bit disappointed. I ordered General Tso chicken. I couldn’t get it with all white meat — even if I ordered the entrée — which makes me wonder if they receive it pre-made from their vendor. After eating it, I believe that to be the case. The chicken coating was very hard on the outside which is similar to an experience that another reviewer posted. The sauce wasn’t tasty either. The Egg roll was over cooked in the deep fryer. Pork fried rice was good. Fortune cookie was stale. Ice water was in a real glass. Clean dining room. Comfortable chairs. Rest room was very clean. Big thumbs up on that. The owners are very pleasant. No other patrons were there while we ate. Someone came in as we were leaving and two phone orders came in while we dined. Around 6pm on a Wednesday. We are new to the area and will try several other Chinese restaurants before going back to Chopstiks, if at all.

Our first time there not sure if we got the older lady on a off day. But she wasn’t very friendly and it seemed like we were bothering her. The food was okay nothing to brag about.

I have never gone into restaurant but ordered delivery tonight — phone person pleasant, delivery much quicker than suggested and delivery charge is only $ 2 plus tip for delivery person who was very nice. I recently moved to Vero Beach and have yet to find a GOOD non sushi Asian restaurant so based on that the food, like other places, was OK and I would probably order delivery again. I am thinking there is no good high quality Chinese restaurant in the area so I may have to lower my expectations!!!

Ok, I went for a take out dinner in late March 2015. I ordered sweet and sour chicken, pork fried rice and a spring roll. The food was made to order and made ride home no problem. Once there the usual was present, sweet and sour sauce, soy sauce, fortune cookie etc. The hostess was wonderful, happy, and charming, the food was as expected, and the price was reasonable. So no worries going here.

I went back to this place. Why? Because I was craving pad thai, I knew they had it, and I was in the area. So, I gave Chopstix another chance. And you know what, I’m glad that I did! It wasn’t the best pad thai I’ve ever had, but the flavors were very good, and it had lots of tasty vegetables. The portion was generous this time too. Is it over priced at close to $ 11? Perhaps, but I don’t feel cheated here. The owner(?) was nicer this time as well. He was smiling, and he asked me how I was doing and thanked me for coming in. Maybe he was having a bad day last time. Hey, it happens to all of us. I think Chopstix is starting to get its act together. I’m bumping my rating up from 2 stars to 3. However, my biggest issue still applies. Chopstix tries to give off a high-end vibe with high-end prices, while essentially functioning as a typical Chinese takeaway place. In my opinion, it can’t have both worlds. Until Chopstix fully commits to being either a high-end restaurant or being a solid Chinese takeaway, don’t expect my rating to go any higher. Basically, Chopstix is still confused as to exactly what type of eating establishment it is.

Used to be soooo much better. Sesame chicken tastes like it has been refried. Curry is bland and tasteless. Food is actually cold. The only bright spots are the soups, especially the hot and sour and the wonton. However they often run out of hot and sour, soooo…? I would try the soups but the entrees, not so much.

Overall, okay. I had the red chicken curry with fried rice and an egg roll, with hot and sour soup to start. My friend had the General Tso chicken, egg roll, fried rice, and egg drop soup. We both agreed our soups were very tasty and gave us high hopes for the rest of the meal. We were disappointed, to say the least. The red curry chicken was bland, colorless, watered-down, and rubbery. The General Tso was too tough to cut without fear of flinging it off the table, and likewise severely lacking flavor. The egg rolls, while having decent flavor, were so tough it hurt your mouth to bite through it. The fried rice was also bland and forgettable. The price, however, is very reasonable!

I love traditional Chinese food, and that’s what you get here. It’s not fancy, or over done, it’s just Chinese with no msg. We had the crab rangoon, chicken lo mein, and beef with broccoli. All was good, typical Chinese food. Not super fancy, not Thai fusion, no sushi added to the menu, just simple Chinese. The dinner portions are big enough to last through a netflix binge watching day. It was fresh and flavored right without all the msg and extra oil you get at some places. I picked it up the first time and from what I could see of the kitchen and restaurant it was clean and inviting. The second time we called for delivery and the food came hot and fresh in 40 mins. This is my staple Chinese in Vero. If you want Vietnamese, Sushi, or Thai, this is not what you want! But if it’s traditional Chinese, give it a try:)

Read reviews and I thought worth a try… Lunch specials range $ 6.50 –8 so not bad for lunch. I soon learned why… The red curry chicken was recommended by the girl that answered and sadly it is the worst red curry I have ever eaten. There is no red curry flavor or any coconut flavor. Actually my first bite had a displeasing ‘film’ that I could taste –only on the chicken. The vegetables are more palatable but there are mostly leftover cabbage bits that are really soggy. I was really starving so I ventured onto the rice and the egg roll. Rice was dried out perhaps just not fresh. My egg roll was decent in flavor but way to oily… But tasted the best so thankful for that. Looks new on the outside but not sure about the cleanliness of the kitchen, which is easily seen from the hostess area. Thankfully I also have a free bottle of water and a fortune cookie to hold me until it get home and can eat something else! Sorry they will not see me again.

They advertise that they deliver. I call to place an order. He asked how far away I was located. I give my address and I’m told I’m to far away. Says we only deliver 3 – 5 miles or to the beach because they place large orders. I was going to order for 2. Meals plus soup bit I was to far away. I googled the distance. I’m 3.4 miles away. Good job! Turning away business.

Just finished a meal from here. We are from NY and DC and have a second home in Vero Beach. Needless to say, we are picky about Chinese food. In 12 years of being here we have somehow never ordered delivery. After reading the Unilocal reviews, we decided to give Chopstiks a try. Delivery arrived within the promised timeframe, despite my concerns about location and a sometimes ‘complicated’ security gate. The delivery person was very friendly. We ordered steamed pork dumplings, chicken & broccoli, Singapore mei fun and house special(combination) fried rice. Everything was really good — white meat chicken, fresh shrimp — the only complaint I have is that the Singapore noodles could have had a little more flavor, but that’s an easy request for next time. Bottom line is — this place is very good. We were pleasantly surprised and will definitely be ordering next time we are in town.
