I first began seeing Geri to get my hair care services and products back in 1997 when I discovered Geri at a former hair salon in town. I was distributing my new business fliers for the first in-home pet sitting service in Vero Beach and when I walked in the door, Geri greeted me by saying«Come on over here and tell me what you’re doing.» I was nervous trying to sell myself but Geri was so kind and supportive after explaining my service that I said«You know I could use a hair cut. I’d like to make an appointment with you.» We’ve been friends ever since and though I have moved several times in 15 yrs. I’ve kept in touch w/Geri and work in an appointment when I come back east for a visit. Geri is a genius in particular w/thin haired clients since her hair is thin as well. She is well trained and continues to attend hair shows/conferences and keeps her education on beauty services a top priority. She’s expanding services in her salon to include manicure/pedicure services and facial services with two additional technicians. I feel Geri’s specialty is color services(personally speaking) and her style cuts are never rushed and she is excellent at understanding framing and cuts that flatter each face shape along w/hair texture, but ultimately your opinion is what matters most. She is very happy to share techniques w/you to style your hair w/products and styling tools and educate you about hair and hair care. The hair care products used in Geri’s salon are: Keune & Redken. Geri’s prices are fair. She is a good business-woman but knows the way to keep a good client is to treat her clients honestly and fairly. I really appreciate that about her as well as her great sense of humor and straightforward talk. Geri provides hair services for both men and women. When you become a client of Geri’s you are more than a client, you are a valued friend. I wish she would move to Oakland, but that isn’t in her 5 or 10 year plan, sadly.
