Wonderful lil gem in Vero Beach, Florida. From the outside it looks a bit like a dive-bar or a very old restaurant. Looks can be very deceiving as Nino’s Corner is an excellent, clean, and friendly, Italian restaurant. The subs, both hot and cold, at huge, full of meat and veggies, and are fantastic! The Calzones are to die for and the pizza dough is crisp and sweet.

I was sorely disappointed this time when we went. We went a few years ago and thought it was good. When we went in, it doesn’t say clearly to go to the right or left for dine in or take out, so we got confused. I ordered Baked Penne Alfredo and my husband ordered the Chicken Cordon Blue Sandwich. Our salads came out and he had Croutons, Onions, Olives, etc on his and mine was just Cucumbers and Lettuce. I asked for Garlic Knots appetizer(6). She said that our meals come with them and I said I know, but I want extra. Only came out with 5 and none with the meals. Our meals came out. Mine had a lot of Alfredo sauce, but was good. My husband’s was a chicken sandwich. No ham, no cheese. We asked for a menu to look at then talked with the server. She seemed condescending when she said, «You should have just told me there was a problem instead of asking for a menu.» No, I wanted to look at the menu and talk with you. Don’t tell me what I should /should not have done. We didn’t get an apology about the sandwich either. They did fix it, but it was bland. Typically a Chicken Cordon Blue Sandwich has some seasoning or the Chicken is breaded. The server asked if Fries were OK with my husband’s sandwich and he said yes; however, they are extra. It doesn’t say it is or isn’t served with fries. Overall, we weren’t impressed with our visit to Nino’s. I believe I’ll still with the Italian restaurants downtown.

We ordered a full Sicilian pie… half plain, half sausage. It was ready when we got there and piping hot! Friendly staff and the pizza was great. It meets my families New York standards… we will be ordering again.

Our first time there. We only had the pizza but it was excellent. Looking forward to trying the other dishes The place is spotless, very casual and they deliver to our neighborhood.

Well, it’s just not great. I tried twice. Delivery is efficient and people are very nice, but everything I’ve eaten is just okay. Being from Philadelphia, I’m lucky enough to know what good pizza, cheese steaks and wings taste like. The chow here is bland. Pizza didn’t get me excited and the wings were plain lousy. I’ll try the pasta to give them another chance.

First time there. Service was friendly and prompt. The garlic knots where delicious. It was honestly the best pizza my family and I have had in a long time. Topped off with a cannoli, only wished we didn’t live so far away. We will be back definitely.

First time there and I was satisfied! Polite people at the counter good food indoor outdoor dining and take out they even have burgers and other stuff besides pizza ohh and milkshakes good parking serving lunch and dinner. I would recommend this place to anyone living or visiting in the area. Some things may cost a little more than other pizza spots in the area HOWEVER you get what you pay for! Good food nice portions the other pizza in the area isn’t that great I will be back for sure

Early bird eggplant parm was great. My husband had the Italian sub toasted and loved it. Very friendly staff.

Recently ate here again and was so excited, only to be disappointed. We got the Nino’s special pizza. We’ve eaten here at least once every trip down since the spring of 2010. This was the 3rd time we’ve gotten this particular pizza, 1st time it was so-so, last year at this time it was delicious, So it’s doubly disappointing to have it be so blah this time. Crust was worse than what I, a Southerner, can make myself at home, sauce flavorless. However, I’ve had so many good meals there, I’ll go again.

Nino’s was my last stop on my weekend tour of Vero Beach. We’d just spent all day out on the boat and we wanted something quick and filling before I had to get on the road. My friend suggested Nino’s as «its been around forever.» We were both hungry so we decided to go ahead and order a whole pizza. We went with the Nino’s Special — cheese, pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, green peppers and onions. It was delicious! The crust was just the right thickness and nice and crispy. The toppings were fresh and I liked that the onions and peppers were lightly sauteed before ending up on the pizza. I HATE crunchy veggies on a pizza. The sauce wasn’t super flavorful, but it made the taste and freshness of the toppings stand out. They weren’t busy when we arrived at around 5pm on a Sunday — we seemed to have beaten the rush. Service was quick and our order was accurate. I brought the 2 left over slices home and they were GREAT reheated the next day. Best leftover pizza I’ve had!
