Very nice food with great price. The outdoor seating view is great! The food is cheaper than other sporty bars and they are delicious and also in a big portion! Will definitely come back!

The view can’t be beat. That’s pretty much the only reason to eat here. The food is very high price, for low quality. When’s the last time you paid $ 14 for a chicken caesar salad? How about a chicken caesar salad that is half the size of a Panera portion, and half the quality? Yeah, that’s right. Panera’s better. Lunch for 2 — 2 advertised mixed drinks, 2 chicken Caesar salads, pretzel bread = $ 70 lunch. You read that right. 70 dollars. We were literally the only people at the restaurant. When we got the bill we knew why. Honestly, what we received was maybe worth $ 30. If you’re staying at the resort, don’t eat here unless you have money to burn. Funny, everyone we talked to said we shouldn’t eat at the restaurants here on the resort, but we didn’t listen. Now we know, and have been eating off resort since, and have found some delicious, reasonably priced places. And, my husband and I aren’t cheap people, we just expect a $ 70 price tag to be worth at least $ 70.

This is Disney, I am normally ecstatic at Disney table service restaurants. However, the menu here has changed and the new one is a big disappointment. The waitress explained that the new kitchen is small with no hood space and doesn’t support heavy items such as turkey wraps or large hamburgers. They now serve ‘bar’ food. The drinks are still awesome and what you would expect at a beach locale. The menu is limited; 2 flatbread offerings, truffle buttered popcorn, a meatball parm(my husband saw«a» meatball and decided on the sliders) 3 cheeseburger sliders-he would not order them again, said they’re ok for kids but remember this is a bar, iceberg lettuce wedge w blue cheese, shrimp skewers, pretzel w cheese dip, hummus, Caesar salad. They had a couple of other items too. I ordered the Caesar and asked about adding shrimp or chicken, she said yes! The shrimp was delicious, plump, tender, and ample. Yum! Another table ordered cheese pizza that also was not on the menu. They also have pepperoni if you ask. Don’t know if the off menu items will last. Service was fast, friendly, helpful and accurate. You have to ask for the off menu items. If you want a fancier meal there is Sonyas but it is currently closed for renovation. shutters is closed from 11– 5(the moderately priced restaurant. Check hours for all these to help your vacation planning. Prices are Disney. If you want a great drink and an amply proportioned tapas with a terrific view of Vero Beach this is the place for you.

Pros: Good service, beautiful view and outdoor seating. Good cocktails. Cons: The food is mediocre at best. I’d recommend getting drinks to enjoy the view and skipping the food all together.

Quaint little pub! Love the atmosphere! Love the pretzel bread and beer cheddar dip! Prices are not too high. Friendly service and the Disney resort itself is beautiful!

The Green Cabin room had a great take-out pizza special which was plentiful for a party of 3 and delicious. We also ordered the ceasar salad, an order of wings and the volcano dessert and paid under $ 50 for 3 people! Unheard of for Disney.

My friend and I were staying at Disney’s Vero Beach Resort for Labor Day weekend. We decided we would like to go to trivia at the pool at 7:45 and it was a few minutes after 6. Your 4 dining choices at DVBR are the pool bar, The Green Cabin Room, Shutters, and Sonya’s. We ate at the pool bar for lunch and Sonya’s was pricey so we narrowed it down to Shutters and The Green Cabin Room. We picked this one because we wanted to go to trivia at 7:45 and since this was a sort of pub type place we thought it might be faster… WRONG! We arrived to a sign that said seat yourself. We grabbed an empty table. It was a solid 10 minutes before anyone even came by. We started to wonder if we had to go to the bar to get menus. Finally, after about 10 – 15 minutes our server came by with menus. We ordered drinks. Did he ask if we wanted a high chair or booster seat for the baby? No. He was«earning his ears.». This was a bad omen. We ordered pretzel and cheese dip app, fish and chips, and a pizza. By the time we ordered it was already after 7. I started to doubt that we would make it to trivia. When our pretzels arrived about 7:30 I knew we would not. The pretzels were quite good. The beer cheese had a nice draft flavor to it. There were 5 pretzels, so the portion was pretty large as well. When they brought our pretzels out they told me our pizza was ready too. The pizza was supposed to be my meal so I told them to wait. Before we could finish the pretzels they brought out my pizza. I wish the pizza had been hotter, though I suppose you could argue it was my fault. I told them to wait, but we had clearly ordered the pretzels as the app and the pizza/fish n chips as entrees. Whatever. Other than the temperature it was a pretty decent sized/tasting pizza for $ 7.99 on Disney property. I would compare it to Pizzafari at Animal Kingdom. So they brought my pizza. Where was my friend’s fish and chips… nowhere to be found. Where was our waiter? Nowhere to be found. After I had finished my pizza we found the waiter and he said that her fish and chips had been dropped so they were making a new one. Well by this time we had missed trivia and it looked like we might miss mini golf too. Her fish and chips finally came and she said they were fine, but we had been in there for almost 2 hours by that point. Luckily since we ate at different time and they didn’t offer us a high chair I was able to hold the baby while she ate. When all was said and done the food was mediocre. The service was horrendous. It took us nearly 2 and ½ hours to eat at a «pub,» and there was no attempt show us any consideration for the baby such as high chair, bringing food out quicker, or bringing the check when it was now after 8:30pm.

Fun place to hang out for drinks and/or appetizers. The staff was incredibly generous. This is a nice place to relax during a rain shower, or while waiting for your room to be ready after check-in.

A good place to hang out with friends, family. Looking at the ocean with bar foods and drinks. Very nice service with Disney standard, especially Paolo!

Extremely comfortable small bite eatery. Go for the live music on weekends. The singer, Chris, has an excellent voice even if he does get some if the lyrics wrong. Highly recommended.

terrific spot, great drinks but food could be better. A few years back their food was great, now it is just so-so. But a great spot to come to on a warm night or even a cold one and sit inside.

Felt like we were back in old NYC or London. Wood & warm & terrific service even when full. Limited menu but all items are very good. It is casual and a gem for quick light fare in Vero even during the season. Highly recommend the small pizza. They also serve on patio over the ocean in good weather.

Great bar, with awesome views! It’s not a typical Disney resort, none of the Disney characters are visible, but you get the Disney experience you love and expect on Disney property. We did not stay on property, we stayed nearby though, and wanted to check out the bar. The bar is on the 2nd floor and has a clear view of the Atlantic. Great food selection and great prices. For Disney fans, it has pretty much the same drink menu as the Polynesian Resort with the same prices. Definitely check out the resort and bar if you’re in the area!

The library bar at Vero’s Disney Resort. Watch out for Tic Toc the Croc.(spoiler alert, Tic Toc isn’t real topiary… He’s plastic!) We sat on the upstairs veranda overlooking the ocean for drinks and a nosh. Disney does things right. Makes the place feel local and cosy, even though it’s part of a mega million dollar enterprise.

It took forever to get our food. We have a 20 month old so we have a limited window. The food is expensive as is all the resort food for what you get. Go to Ocean Grill. Best food I have jade in a long time. The view is great at both though.

I’m only giving it Two stars because of its outdoor setting which is great. The food was very bad, as if prepared by one of my kids. Have a drink and move on.

The Green Cabin burger was good but the meat itself didn’t have any seasoning. An over powering cheese. The turkey club was very good– lots of food so perfect to share. The sweet potato fries were also yummy. Great location to grab a drink and watch the water. However, a bit pricey for the food you receive.

We come to Vero Beach every few months and tend to eat at the Green Cabin room often, as there are not many restaurants in the near vicinity. All in all the food is pretty good, but pricey. They do have two small TV’s if you want to catch a football game, but don’t expect to see much. The staff is very friendly and prompt as with most Disney restaurants. I have to say the best experience here is just to order a drink, appetizer and sit outside on the balcony watching the waves crash in. #Yelp100

I’m not one for hanging out in bars, but the Green Cabin Room is one of my favorite places in Vero Beach. The food is good, the drinks are good, and I love the historic nautical décor. It is named and themed after the Green Cabin wreck, a sunken 17th century Spanish treasure galleon that lies off the coast. There is outdoor seating with great views of the ocean. There is live music every night, but the guy plays the same songs and tells the same jokes(year after year), it can get tiring. He only plays at certain times, so its easy enough to plan accordingly. If you want a quick bite, a drink, to relax a wood paneled bar surrounded by historic artifacts or just play uno(byo deck) this is a great place. There is also outdoor seating with a view of the Atlantic ocean, its a nice place to watch the sun set/rise or to see a squadron of brown pelicans gliding by.

The Green Cabin Room is definitely a nice hidden gem in Vero Beach. It’s a small bar at Disney’s Vero Beach Resort(on the 2nd level of the main building). They have a small food menu with one page of appetizers, flat bread pizzas and a burger, and a very large selection of drinks. The food is GREAT. I highly suggest the«sampler» that’s made up of all their apps. It’s delicious and good to split among a group of people. The service is wonderful(friendly waiters/waitresses), and the food comes out quick. You also have the option of sitting inside the bar/lounge-like area, or you can sit out on the deck and look at the water. We sat outside and really enjoyed hearing the waves while we drank/ate.
