I’m a book junkie… If there is a library or book store in a 10 mile radius, I know it, have been to it, and can give you an in depth description of what they offer. Suffice it to say, I’m something of a bookstore expert. And this, friends, is a gem of a used bookstore. All proceeds benefit the public library, all books are donated and all workers are volunteers. The people are extremely friendly and most are fairly knowledgeable, not only of books but their own frequently rotating stock. There is a huge selection of paperbacks and mysteries, but you will also find large stock of most any other books, from biographies to classics to antiques. If they don’t have something, they’ll take your information and call you when it comes in. All of these are enough to make me come back– but the best part is their prices! The majority of books are $ 1 or less. Seriously. They often run half price specials on this genre or that(you just have to see what it is when you walk in, sales are rarely advertised in advance). Some newer books are a bit more, but I’ve never paid more than $ 3 for anything. This place is a bibliophile’s treasure trove. Don’t miss it! Hunt for your next great read today and support a worthy local cause.

Such a wonderful used bookstore. Set up just like a library, with knowledgeable and helpful staff. A treasure trove on the treasure coast for book lovers!

A great place for used books. I shopped here frequently when in school as an English major… lots of classics to be had very inexpensively. As I was just given a Kindle and tons of those same classics can be loaded for free, I just took a large amount of books here to donate… lots that I had purchased here. My goal was to get them there in time for students that need them for the fall semester. Here’s hoping they find good homes. :) I collect children’s mysteries from the 1930’s-1970’s and this is a great place to hunt… almost always find something good. The shelves are kept very well organized which can be a rarity in a used book store. Even though my Kindle is my new best friend, I’m sure I’ll still be haunting the aisles looking for goodies to add to my collection.
