«Woohoo! As good as it gets!» You got that right. I never attended Binghamton U, but I had the absolute pleasure of trying Chick-N-Bap thanks to a friend who brought it to NYC. I’d even argue and say it tastes better than the real thing(53rd and 6th); I always like a fresher-tasting alternative to the original greasy platter. I also love the added Korean flair of the menu items, like the Korean BBQ Chicken and the Spicy Korean Chicken. Can’t wait to see what else they come up with!

If you’re a BU student, get Chick-N-Bap before you graduate! It’s not as great as the halal food carts in the city, but it’s definitely comparable. They use fresh ingredients and it always tastes good! Whenever I’m in the Marketplace, the line for this is pretty long. Because of that, it runs out fast! It is a great alternative to some of the same foods being sold in the Marketplace.

i heard chicknbap was originally started to satisfy the Halal Guys craving that so many new yorkers have, but this has actually become its own thing. alot of kids here at binghamton look forward to this food. the entire christian club i attend sometimes heads over to chicknbap to get a weekly fix. a downside is that the dish goes out fast. you need to get there before closing time(which is even more of a reason to want it)

The korean bbq chicken is my favorite! When I’m craving korean food while on campus I would just make my way to the marketplace for this. The price is affordable, the food is delicious and also quickly prepared!

3 things to look at when rating a dish: quality, quantity, and price. Chick N Bap kill em all straight up. Very satisfied with this CNB, I’ve been recommending to everyone I know. Just like the 53rd and 6th, it is irresistable. They recently launched the korean BBQ chicken over rice and it is dope! Its a must try guys!

Binghamton is no Manhattan. My love for chicken and rice from the street carts is above imagination. I have got to say though, Chick-N-Bap fills the void. If for any reason you make a stop at Binghamton or if you’re a student here, this is a must try. Your $ 6 will be well spent.

I’ve been living in New York City for the past 5 years and every«true» New Yorker knows that Halal runs these streets(literally). So I’m not going to lie, when I heard of Chick-N-Bap I was very skeptical thinking it was just another knockoff of the OG street food. But boy was I wrong… The first time I tried this hidden gym that was tucked away in upstate New York, my taste buds went for the ride of their lives. It had its own twist on the classic chicken and rice that I had in NYC and I wanted MORE. With every bite my emotions were running wild. They were happy that they were being rewarded with such amazing and decadent food yet sad because with every delicious bite, it meant that I was one step closer to the end… but I digress It’s a real shame that Chick-N-Bap doesn’t exist in the city! Please expand to the city this hidden gem needs to be shared with everyone of the world!

When I’m in the city I randomly crave 53rd and 6th but it’s so far from my house. Here at Binghamton, I can just walk over to Marketplace after work or class and get a chicken plate! Obviously nothing will taste exactly the same as 53rd but this is VERY close. My cravings are always satisfied! I haven’t tried the new menu yet with the kbbq chicken but I can’t wait tooooo!

Some of the best stuff you can get here at Binghamton University. It definitely hits the spot when I’m craving some good olé’ chicken over rice.

I heard so many good things about Chick-N-Bap but it was created after I graduated from Binghamton University so I never had a chance to try it UNTIL i got it delivered to New York City all the way from Binghamton. First of all, it’s run by college students. And it’s probably the first halal ever to be served on campus. As a former Binghamton student, it’s something to be proud of. And it tastes amazing. I had to wait until the next day to eat it but it was still very fresh and delicious. I’ve had many halals in Queens and New York City and thought 53rd&6th had the best halal(although it’s very greasy), but I was surprised that this halal made by students can taste as good as the one from 53rd&6th. Even better with Chick-N-Bap’s unique green sauce. Also, it was less greasy, so I was very satisfied. I wish someone brings me another one.
