Denny’s

I don’t remember how many drunken late night dinners I’ve had here, but I’ll add one more to the most recent memory.
Nothing has changed about this place in a decades time.
Chicke fried steak was ok, although I don’t remember how it tasted. The room kept spinning.
The hostess was incredibly nice. Everyone seem to have enjoyed the dinner more for the flashbacks than the actual food.
While IHOP is better in terms of food, Denny’s is the place you’ll remember or won’t remember during those late late nights.

My husband and I went here to eat yesterday. The server, Becky, was friendly and courteous. The meal was a good size portions and it was warm. We were very satisfied with everything. Denny’s has always been one of my favorite places for breakfast. We will definitely be going back. And it was under $ 20.00.

The service was very slow, the food did not taste good, really bad, do not go!

Affordable, opened till late, big menu. This place has it all. Denny’s is the place to be for a good meal at a budget restaurant around vestal. Spicy sirracha Burger was amazing. Nachos could have been a little crispy but that is ok. Maybe it’s a personal preference. Would recommend for friends and groups.

On the way back home — my boyfriend, family, and I decided to have dinner on the road before resuming our return home so we ended up at Denny’s.
There was a slight stench in the entrance of the restaurant, but luckily we weren’t able to smell it from where we were sitting. At the time we arrived for dinner, the restaurant was quite empty and felt very dreary too. The staff and our waitress were pretty attentive and provided adequate service.
I tried the Alaska salmon served with broccoli and red-​skinned potatoes with a side of garlic bread. The salmon was cooked perfectly, tender, and delish! Broccoli and red-​skinned potatoes were tasty too. Garlic bread was mediocre.
My boyfriend had the Sirloin steak with French fries and sweet petite corn. Sirloin steak was cooked on point and the fries were irresistibly crunchy deliciousness.
Everyone else ordered more or less the same thing.
Overall this Denny’s was fairly decent, but I have been to other ones where the it was good and bad. The food here was surprisingly good and cheap, but one recommendation I would make is to get rid of that horrible stench that lingers around the entrance/​waiting area of the restaurant. It’s quite a turn off and besides that, everything else about the restaurant was fair.

On Sunday July 19^th, I had dinner in your establishment. I had just flown in from LA and had not eaten all day. As always your food was excellent, however our server was beyond excellent. Anthony seemed to be one of maybe three servers working in the whole restaurant. When we arrived it was busy, when we left, they were slammed. Not only did he stay calm, he never had to write down an order, and he didn’t miss a thing. Great with all the clients from children to special needs individual. Calm, made wonderful suggestions and followed up without hovering. Normally I would not comment on a chain restaurant, but servers everywhere could learn a thing or two…

This place has slow service sometimes and sadly it is whenever I come. The food is OK. Nothing great. Honestly, I do not think I will return here

Extremely slow service. 20 min to get seated, 45 min to get food for 2 people. 90 minutes of time i will never get back. Food was decent.

Sunday morning. Let’s eat at Denny’s! Not! They were closed?! Gotta love those restaurants open 24 hours, but closed when you go there. This is the second closed Denny’s in a month. One for «training» and one for «maintenance».

Depends on the time of day you go and the service varies. I came here one time at 10pm and it took us 30 minutes before we got seated because no one cleaned the tables. There were only two tables occupied and 6 dirty tables and no one was able to seat us. It was ridiculous.
Another time I came at 11am and service was better. The waiter got my order in and out within a reasonable amount of time.
I highly recommend the blueberry hush puppies sundae. They are delicious and also the skillets. All the skillets I tried are excellent choices for lunch or dinner. However, one time when I ordered the hush puppies they came out burnt and extra crispy, which was unsatisfying.

I love Denny’s. Great location next to Binghamton university in walking distance from main campus. Also you can has BUC$ apparently so that’s #swag also. Denny’s is one of my fav restaurants of all time and this one specifically is fabulous. My bowl of grapes I had more like bowl of happiness. And my chicken sandwich? Godly

Stopped at this Denny’s while visiting Denny’s. It’s close to all the big stores like Sam’s Club, Walmart, etc.
It’s a typical Denny’s. Good French Toast. Ok service.

I came here with my aunt, uncle and 2 little cousins. Between my uncle and myself, we can eat alot of food. Alot. Even though we’re both relatively thin. Hooray metabolism. Although we waited a good 20 minutes to get seated, our waiter apologized. It looked like the establishment was understaffed, as I saw a few tables that were not yet cleaned, and it seemed like they only had 2 – 3 waiters running around. We arrived around 2pm on a weekday afternoon, so I was a bit surprised by this.
After placing our orders, we waited maybe another 15 minutes for the food to come out. Our table ordered the country fried steak with broccoli and corn on the side, spaghetti and meatballs, 2 orders of double cheeseburgers and I had the BBQ bacon cheddar burger. Oh, was this satisfying. My family enjoyed the food. For once, in a long time, I felt very full. Maybe because the sides were filling and the burger was almost the size of my head — but yes, it was truly a filling meal. The beef was cooked perfectly with the cheddar cheese and bacon. The BBQ sauce complimented the burger with flavor.
It was well worth the wait.
I think if I’m in the area again next time, I will have to try the breakfast items.

Ever since I can remember Denny’s has been my favorite diner. It’s open 24 hours, the food is good, the staff is friendly and the place is just the spot after those fun drunken nights.

A little slow on the service, but overall great experiences every time. The staff are very friendly when they tend to you, and I have never had a complaint with my food. My usual order is the T-​Bone steak with eggs. There will be many more visits to this Denny’s in the future.

How could you not give it 5 stars? It’s open 24-​hour and and serves up a meal for even the biggest appetite for under $ 5. There’s no dish better than the other. Just get whatever you want. No one can mess up breakfast food. This place served me well on my first visit to Binghamton University’s campus and through my all four years as an undergrad (late at night, at dawn, during the afternoon, just about whenever). I’d like to think it has a special place in my heart.

We sat down next to a group of annoying high school kids who came from some concert, and took a look at our menus. Usually in places like this you’re not expecting anything amazing, but then I looked up at our waiter Ronnie. Oh my goodness! He had amazing blue eyes and a soothing, articulate voice. He complimented my dress and told me it matched well with my eyes. The way his big shoulders moved when he talked was so cute. The rest of the waiters there were pretty handsome as well, sexy long Islanders. My food was a bit cold but when you got all that college eye candy to look at while talking to your friends, you can make that food go down quicker with a nice whipped cream Oreo milkshake. Mmmmmm

It’s Denny’s. What do you expect?
5 stars because it’s open 24 hours (every other «diner» I’ve tried in the area is not).

My fondest memory of eating at Denny’s was coming here at the break of dawn. It was sort of a tradition that my college friends and I would trek all the way here at 5 or 6 am on the very last day of each semester to celebrate the fact that we survived Binghamton. I don’t know why but I guess it gave us another excuse to eat unhealthily so.
This is a 24hr Dennys so chances of seeing drunk or insomniac college students here are very likely. It helps (or it doesn’t) that it’s literally situated outside of the campus grounds. It’s extremely packed during Homecoming weekend or Graduation as families come here to dine. As bad as it sounds to me now that I’m out of college for more than 4 years, but my favorite meals to get from Dennys back then were the Lumberjack Breakfast slam and the BBQ Caramelized Onion Chicken Sandwich. A Denny’s dining experience wasn’t complete without their gargantuan desserts. My favorite was their banana float. Ugh. memories of freshman 15 (or 20) pervades as I’m writing this.
Overall, this is a hot spot especially for college students. Don’t expect very nice service because after all, it is Denny’s.
