PIE! PIE! PIE! This is why you go to Veyo. On the way from St. George to Pine Valley, Enterprise or the backside of Nevada, you find Veyo. Veyo is a small town with a great pool (that goes way back into my childhood) and a couple of Mercantiles. This particular Mercantile happens to sell some of the best homemade pie I have ever tried.
From wonderful fresh fruit pies, to Coconut Cream that is out of the world and everything in between, I have never had a bad pie here. I make a point of trying to stop here every time I visit my old hometown of St. George.
Make the drive! It is only 20 minutes from town and worth every minute of it!
