I always make my Dad stop at Stubby’s when I visit so that I can stock my suitcase with smoked goodies to take home. It’s a family owned and operated shop where the folks behind the counter are happy to tell you more about their house-​made products. They make about a dozen different flavors of jerky, ranging from the mild original to the spicy jalapeño. Don’t be shy about asking for a taste of something! My favorite is the Bushwacker.
Don’t overlook the smoked cheeses — I love the Swiss and cheddar. There’s also a refrigerated case full of smoked sausages, which I haven’t tried.

This is a small store that sells about 50 or 60 different flavors of Jerky! If you have a man in your life who likes to eat jerky style meats– this is a GREAT place to shop. You need to keep the jerky refrigerated, UNLESS you want to have them vacuum seal it. (They will ask you) They have some hot foods, that you can take to go. They do have one table inside, and a porch outside. They also sell Seasoned/​cured steaks, and have jarred sauces and jams for sale. And some dog treats, as well!

Gosh these are nice folks! Quality meats, cheeses, jerkies, etc. Hot lunches for takeout. Very friendly family-​owned and –operated business. Everything at Stubby’s is absolutely delicious, and I’ve been a regular customer for years.
