I’ve been to Chit Chat a few times and have never been disappointed. There cinnamon bread is out of this world. My only complaint is that you get a small portion of home fries. I would have liked more. Overall, a great place or breakfast.

After reading the positive Unilocal reviews, my husband & I decided to try this place, but we kinda doubted it would really be THAT great. But it is! Yes, it’s small & there was a wait, but definitely worth it. The staff were very friendly, and when we mentioned it was our first time there, our server explained the different options in parts of the menu & portion sizes(which are HUGE!) and that all the breads are made fresh each day. He ordered 2 kinds of pancakes — carrot cake(so good he didn’t even need syrup) & oatmeal pecan– and he raved about both. I also ordered 2– blueberry & chocolate chip. We both added sides of eggs. The pancakes are as big as the plate! Neither of us could finish it all. Our new favorite breakfast place — we will definitely be back to try more of the possibilities!

Met a relative who lives in Victor for breakfast today. She told me that it was worth my 20 minute drive. She was right! The place is charming, small, and cozy. All of the food is freshly prepared in a tiny kitchen so breakfast is leisurely as mentioned by others. We split a fruited health pancake and veggie omelette with thickly sliced rye toast– both delish! Good coffee, too. I noticed some delicious looking french toast and a fritatta that we will split next time. The waitresses were busy but friendly and attentive. A good find!!!

I only noticed this place because I had a dentist appointment(for a crown, boo) across the street but boy am I glad I did! The food was so good the first time that I went back again and brought along a couple more friends. So far I’ve sampled their french toast, omelettes, pancakes and eggs florentine… everything was delicious and you can tell it’s made to order, from scratch. Prices are very reasonable, and the waitresses are incredibly friendly, welcoming and attentive. Lots of regulars go here, and the ladies working made a point to introduce themselves and ask our names the first time we ate there. The only negative is that it’s not a huge place so you’ll probably have to wait for a table but it’s definitely worth it. I’d visit more frequently if I lived closer!

Warning: this place is BUSY. you most likely will have to wait for a table. Be prepared for this to take a little while. Good things always do. It’s not fast food. Everything in this place is made from scratch. The Monte Cristo is excellent. I ordered an omelette, also excellent. Their drinks are great. I had a specialty drink, Apple cider chai. Very sweet. But delicious. The service was excellent and the restaurant was spotlessly clean. Prices are very fair. You’ll love this place if you want to hang out for a bit and talk with the people you are dining with. Don’t come here if you expect to be out in half an hour. It’s not happening.

Went here for brunch with my boyfriend. He got the monte christo, I got the cinnamon swirl French toast. The bread slices are massive. I got two pieces of French toast which turned out to be pretty greedy and only managed to eat one. My boyfriend managed to eat his whole sammy though. Everything was delicious and the environment is intimate. All the ladies working there are really nice too. The service was a little slow, but I think it was because it was busy and there were only a handful of waitresses. Really enjoyed the experience!

Excellent breakfast. I HIGHLY recommend the cinnamon toast as a side with your breakfast. Absolutely amazing. I got an omelette and one carrot cake pancake. Everything was very good and made fresh. I have only been here once so I don’t know how their other breakfast foods are but I plan on making it back for more.

What a quaint, charming café. Don’t let the outside fool you. The staff is friendly and service is excellent. Loved the Cinnamon Swirl French Toast. The pancakes are huge. My new favorite breakfast joint. Sorry it’s closed Sunday. Oh, the prices are great!

This café is small and adorable to the point of suffocating, but the friendliness of the ladies who run it makes it feel authentic and down-home. The food is simple but well-made breakfast stuff, with some simple lunch sandwiches if you’re so inclined. They do close really early in the day though — 1pm I think.

The food is fresh and delicious, especially the baked goods! The muffins are out of this world, and the french toast on homemade bread is unbelievable. Everything is wonderful, fresh, and generously portioned. The prices are very reasonable, too! The atmosphere is like eating at someone’s house, it’s like a family. Many regulars and kind staff make it a very pleasant experience. Warning: this food is being made fresh for you. It might take awhile. If you’re in a hurry, grab a granola bar or something. This place is for home cooking. The one thing I really don’t like about Chit Chat is the parking lot. Way too small, even given the small size of the dining room. Do yourself a favor, go here for breakfast.

We are fortunate to have eaten here many times sometimes for breakfast and sometimes for lunch, the wait staff is excellant always makes a person feel as if they were just waiting for you to arrive and that you are a valued guest. The food is excellent fresh and well prepared. If there is any wait it is because they are preparing your meal just for you. great place.

Great little local joint. had blueberry pancakes that were fluffy and filled with a lot of blueberries! Atmosphere inside is homey and it seems like everyone knows everyone! Good coffee too.

We had brunch at the Chit Chat with another couple on a Saturday in early 1⁄04. It’s a small place — with lots of cute crafts and other items inside which are for sale, including their delicious homemade breads. Our meals were very tasty(I had a frittata), the service was good & friendly and the prices were reasonable. The place was *packed* and the parking lot is small, so keep that in mind.
