Over a month ago I accompanied my 90 year old father to pick out carpet for a room that leaks cold air in the winter. CRT sent out measuring people in a relatively timely manner. The problem came when they completely dropped the ball after that. Several weeks later my father called to check on the order and was told that they had a stack of measurements that still had to be addressed. Well here we are 2 weeks even later. I called to see what the hold up was. After almost 10 minutes on hold the person on told me that ‘Dawn’ had the paperwork and she was in the bathroom and would call me as soon as she came out. 10 minutes later I called back and asked to speak to Dawn. I was told she was with a customer could she call me back. I said no I’ll just hold. 5 minutes later Dawn came to the phone. She said that she couldn’t go to her desk right now because she was doing inventory. As soon as she finished counting this color she would call me back and go over the order with me. So I’m waiting. I can’t believe anyone does business this way. I will update this review when(and if) I hear back from Dawn. Well Dawn did call back. The quote included $ 350 for moving furniture when we were told that the furniture moving would be free — but of course we have nothing to document that. So 30% of the total cost is furniture moving. I’m not modifying my 1 star.
