This place takes so long for your food to be ready it’s ridiculous… extremely greasy it was an unpleasant visit from my part… services were great… nice people but as far as time. very bad…

Very juicy meats, crispy hot fried foods, and buttery, fluffy pancakes. Archies offers very tasty American entries! Emphasis on American, because their Mexican selection is a tad bit embarrassing.(But really, when you can get two large, moist pancakes and crunchy bacon, why would you order lousy tacos complete with soggy flour tortilla, limp lettuce and cheddar cheese) And the atmosphere is actually very peaceful, Its not a cliché greasy diner, but a relaxed eatery to go have eggs and hash with your mom, or burgers with the kids. Would I eat here again? Yes! What would I recommend? Their grilled chicken sandwiches! The best, most supple breast Ive ever had :}

Love this place! Always good service and great food! Sometime the drive thru line takes really long but the wait is worth it.

The service was awful in the drive thru. Had to repeat ourselves 3 or 4 times to which she kept replying«huh?». I asked for no avocados on my burger and surprisingly enough(yea not really) there were avocados. She didnt want to separate the transaction because«there was a line behind us.» But she could have considering how long the wait was. The food was ok was gonna give 2 stars but my mom found a piece of facial hair in her food. Stay FAR away!

Nasty… food quality was horrible. Fries were greasy and tasted old. Cheeseburgers tasted like old oil. Only good thing was the 8 dollar pitcher of beer.

1 star is for bad customer service & interaction, high ridiculous pricing. I don’t know about you but I like waking into a restaurant with specials that includes a drink and fries. There’s one special that has that option but its for a family of 4 for $ 22.95, good deal for a family of 4. Their business model is like farmer boys buy the burger —-fries and drink are separate. You will easily spend $ 13 for a combo for 1 person — might as well go to Red Robin and get a gourmet burger. Salsa bar was decent although the red salsa tasted smokey weird(like a chipotle chile, but in verge of going bad but not bad) it was just weird. The green salsa was very good, authentic not jarred and if it was jarred it fooled me it was that good. I had a breakfast burrito at 8:00pm because I was upset that he couldn’t get burger special without paying $ 13 and change, not paying that for an average fast food joint. My wife had the pastrami Reuben sandwich this was the primary reason we were coming back as my wife liked it last time we were here. The reason we keep coming back is that I won $ 40 credit from , but I have to spend at least $ 20 to get $ 10 off hence the return to the balds’. Breakfast Burrito was very greasy. End of review

This place does have good food. They are a tad pricey, but still grub and flavorful. The plus is they also serve beer.

DAMNDAMNDAMN the food was amazing the atmosphere was great even the service was great. If you’re in Victimville this is a MUSTSTOP for food. I hear the breakfast burritos are epic as well Price a bit on the higher side but worth the extra cost for the quality.

I’ve been to archibalds a couple of times, but today was my first time there for breakfast. There is a large variety to choose from, and the food looks very good. I ordered the mini waffles with scrambled eggs and bacon, as did my daughter. The food was brought to our table and looked great, however their waffles were not what we expected. Based on presentation, they did fantastic, however this is based on taste. The eggs were typical scrambled eggs, nothing special. Bacon was crisp. The waffles however, left a lot to be desired. Both myself and my daughter will not be ordering these again. Let’s just say eggo waffles taste way better than these did. It left a lot to be desired :(

Early Friday evening traffic on the way to Vegas… got off on the off ramp looking for a place to eat… saw«Archibald’s» and was impressed by what I read from previous Unilocal reviews. Added bonus was that it was right next door to SBux, so I could kill two birds with one stone; feed my belly and tame the caffeine beast inside! Opted for the drive thru option because I was lazy.(Albeit, much to my dismay, SBux did NOT have a drive thru, so I ended up having to get out of my car anyway!!)…Archibald’s menu was pretty large and covered a wide variety of your typical what I call«Southern California Greasy Spoon Fare» that covers Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner and pretty much anything else in between. I have lived all over this country(West and East Coasts/Deep South/And Texas) and have lived overseas & trust me, no other place in the world has these«greasy spoon» hamburger joints like So Cal does… one could say we were blessed in a way!!! :) Anyway, after looking over the extensive menu, I decided on the Breakfast Sandwich: huge egg(s) fried hard, slabs of country ham, lettuce, tomatoes, mayonnaise on white toast… it was served warm and fresh, cooked to order! No pre-cooked food here! The sandwich was so large, I was only able to eat about a quarter of it & was able to get 2 more meals out of it.(I’m a small eater, but it is definitely enough for 2 people to share especially if you had a side of fruit or maybe a yogurt with it.) I would get this sandwich again in a heartbeat… anytime of day. Although I would like to try other things at Archibald’s, how can I steer away from perfection???

Stopped in by chance on way to vegas early in morning. I had the pork chops special. Superb. Chops eggs hash browns toast and coffee for $ 8.99. I will be making this my stop any time going past. Web site says one in Long Beach where I live. Now hopefully my choice of breakfast chain wherever I travel in SC. Arnie SMMBALAX.

I wanted to update my review from last month. I used to work close by & went in quite often. That’s why I was surprised that they didn’t open on time.(at least 10 minutes late) The general manager did contact me to offer me a free meal, but since I work in Apple Valley, I rarely go near there.(I was meeting a coworker to ride share to Moreno Valley) Anyways I always liked the quality of their food & the speed of their service.(much better than Farmer Boys across the street!)

I found out about Archibald’s from Thrillist, in an article about the best burger places to stop on the route from LA to Vegas. Sooooooo, we stopped yesterday on our way home from Vegas. Imagine my surprise as I was eating my really good«Mediterranean» turkey burger when I realized that there is an Archibald’s in Long Beach. The town where I lived for 8yrs. Too funny. Anyway, the cashier shrugged her shoulders when I asked her what made the turkey burger Mediterranean. She had no clue. I’m pretty sure that’s how they are labeled on the box. Nevertheless, it was a white meat turkey patty and it was flavorful. We shared half an order of onion rings and those were tasty too. I liked the breading, it was light and not greasy. Will be back on my next trip home from Vegas or maybe when I go visit friends in LB.
