Listen if you go here to get a true review and then go as I do, then do not go. The food is cold, hard to chew. And nasty. The one good thing is the cream cheese wontons, that’s all.

11.99 for a dinner buffet. I think this is great! I dined in here while traveling to LA. I’m very satisfied with the good variety of seafood choice.

Why is this place still open? More importantly, why are people still patronizing this restaurant? BTW, the Attorney General and Visa were notified about their illegal charging of fees for the use of credit cards. I hope they are learning the associated costs of bad business practices. It is too bad because their teppanyaki was actually pretty good.

Everything here was cold and did not taste well, or healthy. We could not even finish half our plate, which is when we got our first cup of water. The service was mediocre at best.

The smell is the first sign when you walk in to this place… Didn’t mind though but the food was decent. I’m not picky on buffets but this was one of the worst. The sushi was pretty good something I would get from a gas station(once again I’m not picky) lol when I did the teppan you go in the kitchen to get it made and WOW! There was gunk build up in most of the corners the dishwasher area had mold coming from the top vents(I didn’t believe it at first so I went up to it and got a super close view, they were staring at me so hopefully one of them at least scraped it off) this place has an A posted in the window… I call BS. However it was during the week so if you don’t mind eating with rats and cockroaches I’m sure its good on the weekend.

Used to be good, has gone way downhill! Cold food is warm, hot food is cold, the sushi is smelly. Friendly service, clean, but seems like nobody cares. Won’t be back

There was alot of variety but, the food wasn’t even hot or even warm. Everything was room temperature. The only thing that was okay were the desserts. I came on a Sunday and the price is a bit more on weekends. I do not recommended anyone coming here.

Worst restaurant in the world. So I’ve lived up here in the high desert for over 10 years and I’ve been coming to this restaurant forever even when they were formally known as King’s Buffet. I hadn’t had any problems until last night I made the biggest mistake of dining there for my 4th of July. 1. THEFOOD: All you can eat buffet? More like all you can eat crumbs. Not only was the food old as hell, they never bothered to replace food that were out. And oh did my eyes go blind as I waited for 30 mins for them to replace the beef broccoli, which was now just broccoli, one of the kitchen staff comes out, looks at it and tries to scrape the sides off and mix it so that it looks more full. They ran out of vanilla ice cream long time ago and did not replace it. I was so desperate for fresh food I took my plate and collected all the old food they had at the bar and set it on the table for the waitress to take to the trash. I felt like I was doing their job, the hell? 2. SERVICE: There is none? Point blank and simple. Our server was so lazy. She only came to refill our drinks once and then she was mia. I asked one of my nephews to go to the kitchen and ask for a refill. When he opened the door she was just standing there talking to the cook. What the hell are you doing? Get your stank butt out here and serve the customers. Oh and by the way, you know how you don’t usually get your fortune cookie until you’re almost done? Yeah well she came and handed us ours 15 mins into our meal, clearly marking us as done. We had to freakin’ call her stank butt to get refills and get our dishes taken away. Did I really just get charged $ 13 to get annoyed as hell? So there you go Unilocalers. That is F & D Buffet in a nutshell. Oh one more thing, their restaurant is also hot as hell so be sure to flip the ac switch on like we did when you enter because their stank butts only keep it on fan. I hope another asian buffet comes by soon and just knocks these idiots out for being stupid and stank.

I always feel bad when I leave this place cause you bloat like a dead goat on the side of the road from the MSG overdose. I probably come back cause the prices are low and the selection is good. Then the food taste is mediocre. The place is filthy with Victorville’s finest. Tables un-bused filthy. Waitress in a little mini skirt with thigh highs looking like a harajuku girl. Happy ending type. The atmosphere is humid. You go for lunch to get out of the heat and then you walk into a sauna from all the steam tables. The carpet is dingy. They need to have fans at every table or bust the a/c. I gotta say that I’m not going back. This place dooped me one last time. Never again. One of the chicken wings meat had a tint of green and the sushi breaks apart when you pick it up. I think the best thing there were the seasoned fries. Pass on this place. Go to Panda

This place is the best/only asian buffets here in the high desert. My family enjoys eating here often, as we love the food… To my dismay, today our family of four was over charged by $ 13.66 at lunchtime; which they corrected and refunded back to my card! We are all stuffed(buffet), ate too much :)

It really makes me feel uneasy giving this place less than 5 stars because I don’t have high expectations for buffets. For myself, a clean restaurant and OK food is a 5. Starting with the food. The sushi bar is not good and I’m pretty sure the sushi, muscles, and crab legs are days old. As someone who eats a lot of seafood, i know what it looks like when its 1 to 2 days old and when its more than 3 – 4 days old. I would just stay away from the«fresh» seafood and sushi because its not safe to eat. The deserts are not that good, with the exception of ice cream.(The strawberry ice cream is good!) The rest of the food is not good. I noticed some food is really old, I’m not sure if it has to do with the place not getting much business. I’m sure if they did, they’re have fresher food. The mongolian grill they have set up is pretty good, but they have a very small selection. I also liked the fried chicken, sautéed mushrooms, and fried rice. Atmosphere is terrible. The owners had their children running around the place, playing tag, and I almost bumped into one of them while carrying my soup! I enjoy family owned restaurants, but a restaurant is not a place to have your kids run around, its not safe for the kids or the customers. Its also very annoying to hear kids screaming. A loud restaurant is OK, but when the cause of it is children running around, yelling from the top of their lungs, that’s just insane! Also, the place was not very clean. I think its OK to see some holes in the cushion of the seating, because sometimes that’s just something you can’t do much about, but there was food on the seat of the booth the woman gave us and she just brushed it off with her hand. I sat a little away from where the food was and just wiped it with a napkin before completely sitting down. Service was ok. I do feel like they were rushing us though because they gave our check while we were still eating halfway through our meal. But they were prompt with removing plates and serving us our drinks. I really wish I could give this place a better review because the owners seem like nice people, but I just couldn’t because I feel its important to be honest so people know what to expect when eating here.

OMFG, they need to close this place down ASAP! Like so damn disgusting, cheap all you can eat or not, NOONE should be putting this in their bodies. It is located next to the recently closed down Indian buffet (I am sensing a trend here!) entrance in the back, very sketchy looking. Door totally fogged up, as the heating for the food is messed up that the steam from the food floats around the restaurant and the food is cold. Not out of the fridge cold, but sitting there since lunch in an unheated room cold. The 3 of us served ourselves and after having a bite of a cold wonton, my husband said every thing on his plate was cold and we were leaving NOW! He is not one to make a scene ATALL and went straight to the host to tell her, then the waitress, they said everything was fresh… That is why the meat to get prepared teppanyaki style was discolored, as well as the sushi??? They had a ton of options, but most was too unappealing to even put on a plate, much less in my mouth… The place is a hole and that in the worst way, I have been to many shabby buffets like Home Town, but this takes the cake. The seating, atmosphere, everything should be torn down and started over. Avoid this place at all costs!

It’s the only Asian buffet restaurant in the high desert that comes closest to the ones in OC/LA, but like a seedier dirtier version of Asia Buffet in Buena Park. So let’s get 2 things straight here: 1) This is a total seedy dive hole in the wall. Floors need to replaced and vinyl seats need to be replaced and etc. but the owners recently had a baby so I guess they decided to spend the money on their family instead of upgrading the place. 2) Service is inconsistent-sometimes they’re friendly, other times, they’re moody, so I wouldn’t take it personally if they seem to ignore you. If you’re looking for a clean aesthetically pleasing ambiance or people who have smiles on their faces all the time, you’re not gonna get it here. But food is more semi authentic asian, compared to the overly sugar-sweet, deep-fried batter americanized asian food that’s common in the high desert. $ 6.99 Lunch Buffet includes sushi, chicken with broccoli, sweet fried pork, eggplant with kungpao-like sauce, white fish, sauteed vegetables, sauteed mushrooms, hot and sour soup, miso soup, fried rice, sometimes ’ KKONGCHI ’ saury fish or mackerel pike which is generally hard to find at restaurants, sauteed string beans, sweet and sour chicken, chow mein, yakitori-like plain chicken with no sauce, teppan-style where you take the noodles and veggies and beef and take it to the back and they cook it for you, various salads, fruit, dessert, peanuts and donuts, french fries, pizza, and a few other items of which I don’t know the name. $ 9.99 Dinner Buffet gets you all the above mentioned for lunch +plus clams in oyster sauce, fried salted soft shell crab, mussels, crab legs, and this item where it’s…stuffed ground beef-like ball on top top of a real seashell with orange-sauce? don’t know what’s it’s called. $ 12.99 Weekend Buffet gets you all the above mentioned for lunch and dinner + plus roast beef after 1:30PM Now, we have never tried their sushi-except for the one with wakame seaweed, so we’ve never gotten sick and we don’t know if they’re good or not, but if I were you I’d make sure if it’s fresh or not, because this is the high desert, very far away from the ocean, and sushi in general around here are not always fresh, and because the owners are a Chinese family and so their Chinese food items taste better than their Japanese food items, anyways. Lunch is kind of slow and empty, dinner and weekends are generally families of all different backgrounds. If you’re thinking of trying here for the first time, dinner or weekends might be your best bet since they do have the more desirable expensive seafood items, and better turnover of items for fresher taste. Food varies from okay to too greasy to yuck to yum to a few you might like, but it’s a cheap buffet. Good place if you have asian tourtist group traveling to vegas from los angeles and need to feed them fast and cheap.

This restaurant is wonderful! They serve a wide variety of dishes for a great price! My favorite is the sushi. From my experience, the sushi as always been fresh and tasty, and I love the sushi rolls they offer! What I enjoy most about this place, is that they have pretty much, anything, you may have a craving for. Whether you are hungry for seafood, Asian, or good ol American, they have it! In my opinion, all of their food is fresh and hot. I was told by one of the staff members, that they make their pastries from scratch! their desert menu is not very wide, however, they do offer a good variety of the basics, such as ice cream and pastries. The staff are so sweet also! They give service with a smile and seem eager to make the customers happy. There is plenty of seating as well, and the restaurant itself is kept clean.
