Wow I really have to give it to Green Trees night manager Mike, for helping me out and giving me what I thought I was getting. I went thru a third party website to book my room, not knowing it was a third party website. Do Not Use at all. Its all a Scam. But because Mike the night staff heard me aruging with these ppl he helped me out and got me what I thought I was paying for the whole time. Thank you Green Tree. I wont go thru any third party ever again.

This place has been here for YEARS but Very Clean and surprising quiet with being off the #15 fwy. Looked at one of their rooms before booking –only double beds available, the rooms are large and have a refridge, microwave, coffee and good sitting area. Good value!

The short: I wouldn’t even consider staying in this dump for free. The long: I had to come to the area for a training that lasted through a weekend. I started looking for rooms a few weeks in advance since I knew I had to stay. Most of the nicer and brand name hotels were sold out for some reason so I was left with the independents. The Green Tree had a mix of good and bad reviews, but the pictures didn’t look TOO bad and they did make it seem as if they had just completed a renovation. So I arrive in town and show up to check in around 8pm on a Friday night. There are 3 people behind the desk(1 of whom is the«customer service manager») and they all continue having a conversation in their native tongue until I finally just interrupt them and ask to check in. At first they cannot find my reservation, but that gets worked out and the nice young lady gives me the info I will need for my stay. I go back out to my car and head down the lot to where my room is. I did notice that it was pretty dark due to a lack of any lights in the parking lot, but I figure hey we’re right by a highway and it seems busy here so can’t be too bad. I get to my room and well I’ve been in this room before in 1980. The light switch as you walk in the room is built into the door jam and shocks me when I turn it on. The room is a typical dumpy motel room and it has NOT been reno’d. There is brown carpet that I am pretty sure is exterior carpet. The chairs in the room had stains in them which I’m sure was a combination of dirt, urine, and semen. The table was the wobbliest piece of junk I have ever seen(I’m talking this makes Walmart furniture look like designer). The bed does have what appears to be newer linens on it, but it is on wheels and when I throw my gear down on it and lean down onto it the thing moves away from they wall. The wall behind it looks like a crime scene and there is some kind of device made to add electrical outlets that is hardwired into the building, but not secured. There was a whole that had been punched into the wall on the wall you see as you look in from the door that was patched but never repainted or anything to hide it. The bathroom is ridiculous to say the least. For starters to close the door you have to stand IN the tub because there is nowhere else to go. Speaking of the door there is a giant groove cut out of it so that it can get past the oversized toilet seat that they have installed incorrectly. The tub is missing caulk around the bottom and there is stuff oozing out of the walls in places. But hey I’m just sleeping here so as long as the bed works… so I try to relax and just check some email or anything before bed. The wifi that the front desk gave me isn’t showing up as a network on either of my devices so I call the desk. The«customer service» manager tells me the correct name of the wifi, but doesn’t even bother to fake any care they gave me bad info. Then when you connect it immediately disconnects you as soon as you try to do anything. So I call again and the same guy insists I must be doing something wrong. So I walk down to the lobby with my phone, tablet, and laptop and show him what it is doing. Now his story changes and it is because the hotel is at max capacity and the service is overworked… MAYBEGET A SERVICEFORTHESIZEOFYOURHOTEL! Okay no wifi I’m going to bed. Oh look there’s a 2 inch gap under the door and there is freezing cold air blowing into the room. Throw down a towel to cover it and move along. About 12−1am there is a ton of noise coming from the parking lot just outside my room so I look out and it seems the bar crowd has moved the party outside or the town thugs have decided to congregate and play their stereos, yell, and jump their cars(or whatever you call it when idiots add hydraulics to cars to make them hop in the air) so I call the desk… and the world’s worst customer service manager tells me they can’t do anything and the security guard won’t go talk to them. So I call the cops and let them deal with it while I go back to bed. For another hour until 2am when some drunk working girls are banging on my door. The rest of the stay was all that amazing… ly bad! When I checked out I voiced my complaints and they didn’t seem to care as long as they got paid. If I ever have to come back to this town to stay I’ll book in any other place but this hole or just camp.

This place is an absolute hell hole! It sucks that Unilocal wont let you give negative stars. I thought I was just going to write a review and leave it at that, but after searching several websites and reading several reviews, I think these people are intentionally lying and defrauding people, so lets get the BBB involved and I’m on a mission to get my $ 791 back. In order not to bore you with a long story, let me just give you 14 reasons why not to stay here! The Hawthorne Suites Extended stay is a much better option and worth the extra money. 1. Two cockroach sightings including the dead one in the kitchen light fixture. 2. Water in faucets come out cloudy and stay cloudy. 3. Large Kool Aid stain on the floor 4. Filthy Dirty Couch, no way was I gonna sit on it. It clearly had a flesh eating virus attached to it. 5. Asked for the first floor, got the second. 6THEWI-FINEVERWORKEDDURINGMYENTIRESTAY! Looking at the reviews on the internet, everyone has complained about this, so they know damn well it doesn’t work and they continue to offer it as a feature. This is why I am now taking this a step further than Unilocal because they are intentionally defrauding people. 7. A/C in front room made loud clicking noise every 10 seconds 8. NOUTENSILSOFFEREDATALL! No pots, pans, plates, nothing! I called down to the front desk and ask him where was my kitchenware. Dan replied, the city of Victorville would not allow them to have any for their guest. Which is obviously a lie because since I have switched to the Hawthorne Inn and they have everything from a plates to a collander. And even if they don’t have kitchenware for their guest… DONTYOUTHINKTHEYSHOULDSAYTHATWHENSOMEONEISTRYINGTOBOOK A 10DAYSTAYINYOUREXTENDEDSTAYHOTEL! SMH 9. The TV’s are a joke. 1989 Magnavox CRTV’s. A step about grandma’s old floor model. They funny thing with those, they were bolted down? 10. Over half the channels didn’t come in at all, and the one that did were fuzzy or extremely fuzzy. 11. Front desk is a joke. I will say Katherine, a fair skinned female, and a younger white guy with glasses were at least very helpful and seems sincere in there apologies for my horrible expereince. The Hispanic chick just thought she was too cute for the room. Stop it little girl, you work the front desk of a run down motel. Its your life decisions that brought you to this low, so cut the attitude cause you are not fine and you got old white lady butt. Butt so flat you put on a pair of draws and split them in two. The Hispanic dude wasn’t much help either. Very indifferent to my complaints. Dan was nice, he offered to bring towels and what not to my room at one point. 12. One night a big dude with a «P» tattoo by his eyeball was standing out front and ask to borrow my oil dip stick out of my Honda Accord iVTech V6 engine to pop a lock on his«aunts» car. Get real Hector, and get the F*** away from me before I call your parole officer and violate your a$$. 13. Was approached and asked did I have any pain meds to sell. 14. And the finale starw, the meth head grabbing and petting my dog. So please people. Listen to me and most all these other reviews and STAYAWAYFROMTHEGREENTREEEXTENDEDSTAYHOSTEL! —–

This was the biggest mistake I ever made from the time I checked in I was misinformed the hotel accommodations are beat down passed anybody’s comfort level only a homeless person would find the place acceptable for a night. The management ripped me off for a pet deposit after I asked at check in about my pet. Don’t stay here it is a SCAM! They get no stars and a big F. u.

This is realistically a two ½ star hotel as far as accommodations go(better than Motel 6 for sure!) but I’m giving it 4 because of how incredibly clean the room was and how wonderful the staff was. Namely Jeremiah who was security and also the cleaning ladies. They were all very gracious, helpful and friendly. We broke down on the way home from Vegas and had to be within walking distance of repair shop. We also had our cat. Didn’t have much of a choice. This hotel sits on a small golf course and had a clean pool. Beds were comfy and again, room was very clean. TV is old style but still worked fine. There is a Coffee Bean near the lobby with more friendly staff and the best coffee. They had a full menu but we just had coffee. There is also a cute little gift shop with some great handmade stuff-rustic décor, handmade soaps and candles. Also a ceramic painting studio you can partake in with 24 hour reservations according to the sign. There does seem to be people living on the property and some seemed a little sketchy but all and all, worth every penny in our situation. Could be a really great hotel/mini resort with some money put into it and some inhabitants taken out. Hope to see it continue to improve.

We checked and stayed about a hour and left. Couldn’t do it if you are use to motel 6 then you won’t have a problem but if you are looking for better then you will be very disappointed. Very outdated I could handle that it was more all the people that seemed to be living there were kinda scary… stray dogs running around, police asking people to leave and it look like several people living out of there cars. Asked for some kind of refund even half would of been okay since we were there for a hour but the manager said no nothing they could do. This seems to be common because the lady in front of me was doing the same thing.

Excellent service, awesome staff that aim to please, house keeping was on top of making ng sure we had the towels we needed, soap, coffee, etc. The rooms have been remodeled and are very nice. Not a five star just because there were a few areas that need repair(air conditioner and the molding around it) and a good d cleaning of the walls in the restroom that only a guest would see. I’m sure they would have cleaned it if I asked but being disabled and exhausted, I just wanted to shower and lay down. Thank you Green Tree Inn!

Stayed here as we became too sleepy when driving back from LA. Only crashed here for a few hours. It was clean and what i expected from a roadside motel. It’s not nice, but clean and safe.

I would give it a negative star if I could. This is the most out of date, worst hotels I have ever seen. The drapes were falling off the windows, there were bad stains on the carpet, a big crack in the bathroom door and the toilet seat as well. The tub stopper wouldn’t work. There were big mouse traps outside, and the buildings and grounds were out of a third world country. We thought it would be nice, because it was one of the highest priced hotels in the area. We tried to cancel when we read the other reviews on Unilocal, but they told us we were 3 hours short of the 24 hour notice they require so they would have to charge us anyway. Don’t ever book this hotel, they are way over priced, You can get a nicer room at a much lower price. I wish I could post the pictures I took, you would be shocked.

Avoid this hotel. Air conditioners are broken, phones are broken or missing from rooms, sliding glass doors are broken, TVs are often broken, radio and clocks are missing from rooms. Gangs open we’re on the hotel property. Drug dealers can be seen at the street intersections from your hotel room. The parking lot has several broken down and abandoned automobiles. Broken room windows are taped up. Hotel staff are often apathetic or just don’t speak English. The Greentree Inn was once a landmark and historic hotel for the high desert. The hotel is now obviously owned by an unscrupulous person or company. The golf course is not owned by the hotel, the coffee shop and dinerfrom are not owned by the hotel. Stay at this hotel at your own personal risk.

COFFEEBEAN! The only one in the high desert. I can finally get my macha latte! The staff are so friendly and the restaurant looks great, can’t wait to try the food and report back. The lobby looks lovely and has a bar I’ll also be testing out. Haven’t stayed in the hotel so couldn’t give an opinion on that.

I was in Victorville for a wedding this past weekend and was surprised at how nice the layout of the reception hall was. The glitter based paint, red chandeliers, and awesome décor. Everything was so nicely put together… Then I walked to the bathroom… It smelled like«Badussy» and pinesol. I didn’t think it could get any worse, but I was wrong. I could tell the banquet servers had never served in a professional banquet situation, cause they just handed everyone plates. I would continue, but I think I’ve said enough.

I have worked in the hotel industry for 5 years and I can honestly say this was the most terrible experience ever. I felt so uncomfortable/unsafe at this hotel that I stuck a chair in front of the entrance door to the room. The lights in the parking lot are patchy and not well lit. The entire back of the hotel that over looks the golf course was pitch black, could not see for miles. The heater in my room did not work so they sent me a space heater(by a man not in uniform who instead of politely knocking banged on the window next to the door) and then the space heater did not work unless there was pressure applied to it. Thus NOT usable. The outlet in the wall was not properly installed and was sticking out of the wall. There was unfinished wallpaper in the bathroom.(see pictures) ONLY positive experience about this place was the front desk agent working that night and the next morning as well as the café waitress. Food was terrible but free with room, so can’t complain too much. I am asking that the Green Tree Management step it up– this was an embarrassment.

I have never stayed at the hotel but if you want Saturday night entertainment be careful if you don’t like to hear filthy language and racist and sexist jokes. I was horrified when we were there in October and that is what they had for 90 minutes before the band started to play. It was just disgusting. I heard the f-bomb at least 100 times and women were discussed as sluts and worse. I emailed the management but never heard from them. Travelers, especially women, you can do better than this.

Rooms really old, couch disgusting, kitchenette really worn down, bathtub peeling, the ac did not work, non smoking room smelled strongly of smoke. Windows and patio door sealed shut unable to even crack open for air. Staff seemedtoo busy to answer question, no inroom information on anything. internet really slow, and no water pressure in the really short shower. Would not reccomend you stay here.

This is not a reveiw for the Hotel, but it’s staff, mainly the General Manager. I was driving to Lake Arrowhead and got VERY lost and pulled over at the Green Tree Inn and asked for directions, The front desk lady(name unknown– but so kind) and the GM Joe Flores where so helpful in getting me back to where I was heading, they took there time to print me out directions and verbally walk me threw how to get to my destination, this was all very meaningful for someone who had no reception on her cell phone and left her Thomas guide at home. If this is how they treated a lost stranger, I can only imagine how they treat there guest, if Iam EVER in Victorville, I will definatly stay here. Thanks again guys for the help.

We stayed here while visiting my Grandparents for 2 nights. We were given one of the suites and were very happy with our room. I grew up in Victorville and caddied on the Golf Course here for my uncle. I remember when the suites were built so it was neat to stay in those rooms. The room was clean and quiet with a King bed and a seperate living room and kitchenette. The showerhead was a litle low for me(i’m 6’4″) but it was ok. The drawbacks for the room were the housekeeping staff pushing the giant cart past the room at 6am and small towels. All in all, a good place to stay for the weekend while visiting the family.
