After getting to Bastrop, it was a quick turnaround picking up the grandmother, was hoping that I could make it all the way home before the boy started whining about being hungry… BUT alas, I was not so fortunate!
So after giving him a hard time about having to tell me the names of all the parishes we had to travel through from Bastrop, LA to Natchez, MS (Morehouse, Richland, Franklin, Catahoula & Concordia Parishes in case you was wondering) or NO FOOD (he started tearing up cause he didn’t know) so being the AWESOME Dad I am I decided I’d feed him anyway…
Mickey D’s happened to be on the side of the road in the direction we were traveling so I whipped in… Again excellent road food… ordered him a 10 piece McNugget and fries… told him he had to give me 2 – 3 of them or no food and thru his tears of hunger he agreed…
This locale has a double drive thru order lane and service was quick & accurate… we were outa there and eating up the road in no time…
So if you’re crossing from Natchez to Vidalia (or vice versa), feeling a hunger but needing to make time, swing in, grab something quick and carry on to your destination…
