The Tree House is literally a tree house– tucked away in the trees off of the highway. So that’s kind of fun. The restaurant itself is quite dark and musty. I get that it’s a bar, but it smells like stale cigarette smoke. Not very appetizing. The whole place, including the restrooms, could use a thorough cleaning. As for the food… meh. I’ve had the salmon and crab cakes, and they were just OK. We also tried the fried pickles, but they were disappointing. Too doughy and greasy. Others in our group had the prime rib sandwich. It was OK, but they’ve had better. The service is adequate; however, we will probably not go here again because of the food.
