Every once in awhile I’ll eat the lunch I take to work for breakfast and think hey, why not hit up the 7 – 11 that is so conveniently located across the street for a $ 1 to $ 4 lunch? Then I’ll head over, choose one of the heart attacks twirling around on the greasy rolling pins, and remember why I usually don’t. While Big Bite isn’t going to change based on the location, the toppings will. Every 7 – 11 shopper should be aware of the chopped onion, pico de gallo, salsa, sauerkraut, relish, and jalapeño station that makes it so worth getting a Big Bite when you’re feeling kind of dirty. Well, this location fails to provide anything the pico de gallo if you’re lucky, with a maximum of two toppings sat out on any given day(and I’ve frequented the store numerous times since February both morning and afternoon). Incredibly disappointing and usually dirty if I’m honest. Also, it sells Tide pens for $ 5 which seems high but that’s probably the same for all of the chain’s stores in the area. The service isn’t the best either. While the guys who work here seem pretty cool, I once had a three minute argument with a cashier about the 2 for $ 2.22 deal(something like that) when he kept trying to charge me for 5 hot dogs(I was getting a hot dog and a taquito) until one of the more competent employees stepped in. Really, the only redeeming quality about this place is the alcohol, at least for in terms of what I shop here for. I’m not used to booze in 7 – 11 as I commute from Maryland, but cheap forties and other goods is pretty neat. I did however drop a cheap bottle in the parking lot and the lady working at the time was rude to me about it and made me buy another full price. Yes, I’m an idiot and you shouldn’t give me another for free, but don’t be such a douche about it. Last thing I should mention is the severe lack of parking. During busy hours(mornings) expect to see cars and trucks parked randomly on the asphalt when the 6 or so available are taken.

4÷27÷14 7 – 11 never fails for a tasty snack after a fun evening of celebrating with friends. My boyfriend and I stopped at this location mainly because they sell beer and wine in VA. They don’t do that in Maryland yet. While there we also got a few tacquitos which had a special if you buy 3 get one free. We were able to get a bottle of wine and be on our merry way. The staff was friendly. There is plenty of parking. The store was neat, clean, and stocked well.

Location of this 7-Eleven is a bit of a pain to get to especially during rush hours. I generally walk this place from work to grab a quick Icee or afternoon coffee. This location has ample parking and is relatively clean.

Wow, 7-Eleven carries premium beers. Now that’s convenience.
