Serious sanitary issues, over priced, horrible food quality. Certainly not Lebanese. Chicken tastes bad and greasy, tabouleh was rough and food was just not fresh.

Not a bad place to try. The food takes a long time to come out but it’s made to order and is fresh. It’s well-seasoned and fairly priced, though not the cheapest. Overall it was a good experience and I wouldn’t mind going back. Also, be aware that the menu that’s listed on Unilocal is actuallh outdated. They have slightly raised their prices and changed the menu items.

It was a rainy Friday evening and we had the urge for Lebanese food. The Café was empty except for our party of three. The service was prompt and the waiter/cook was attentive. We all had variants of kabobs of both types(chicken and lamb) along with a beef kefta. All the entrees were well prepared and served with roasted vegetables. A stand-out item was the meat Fatayer appetizer – very tasty. The baklava dessert was good too. Prices are reasonable and the ambiance is basic(clean, orderly, but not a white-tablecloth place). This is a very nice family run business and I will be back. Even though the address says Maple Avenue in Vienna, it is easy to overlook(in the same building as My Eye Doctor, towards the back of the parking lot).

I always order my thanksgiving turkey from here. The man I spoke to was very nice and flexible and I was able to order a 27lb fresh turkey. It was $ 1.99/lb. It is very hard to come across such a large halal bird with that price. This is the 2nd time I’ve gotten my turkey from Beirut café and I would definitely recommend it. This is my go– to place to order my turkey. Everyone who works there are very friendly and helpful.

Food in the café is great(used to be ya hala), but serves awesome takes on Lebanese and Mediterranean cuisine. I highly recommend the kafta meshwi sandwich for a light meal, and the Katayef with cheese and honey is a must for dessert! That being said, the best part of this place is not the café, nor the grocery, but the butcher! This halal butcher always has great quality, low priced cuts of meat. I love that they don’t waste anything, and I can find the less popular cuts of meat, like ox tail and offal etc here. They’ve done a lot of renovating in the last year and now boast an led tv with their cuts and prices, and a direct walk-through from the butcher/grocery shop into the café. If you enjoy quality meat and a boutique local atmosphere, The Beirut Café and Butchery is the way to go!

Horrible horrible! Wish I could give this place negative stars!!! First they said delivery was free. NOTTRUE! Second everyone I encountered was extremely rude. On top of everything else the food was extremely expensive. Ordered one time and never again will I.

I see all these trendy high-end butchers popping up and charging crazy price, and I find myself so thankful for the reasonable prices, quality meats and great service at Beruit Butcher. The meats are sourced from their farm in Williamsburg, not just halal from Restaurant Depot. Their marinated chicken is awesome for kababs, and you can order kefta and they’ll mix it and shape it(if you ask) to order. Those are both staples for any cookout we host. Pick up some bread and a container of lebne, and you’re good to go! You can even order spices from them and its much better priced than grocery stores. We just tried the café for the first time since it switched from being Ya Hala. I asked the owner whats best at the café and he advised me that he’d just made a fresh batch of meat shwarma. It was great! A bit salty, but that only made the Ayran(yoghurt drink) that much better.

The food was poor at best! I ordered the Kibbe, Humus, Grill chicken, Sambosa and the beef kabob. It took nearly two hours for delivery. The food had not taste. It was disappointing. There is no much that I can say about this awful meal. I am not returning or giving any additional patronage.

I have been a regular customer for Beirut café restaurant & grocery for over 5 years now. I want to focus here on the cleanliness of this place. Being a dentist, I always pay attention to these stuff. Everyone here is wearing gloves when they are preparing your food at the grocery or at the restaurant. This mean a lot to me ! The place is clean and organized. I like to come here once every 2 weeks and buy lump sum of groceries to take home and always find what I need. The prices are good. Everyone here is friendly and helpful. My family loves coming here. I recommend this place to everyone !!

Somehow my 1.96 pounds of ground lamb only weighed 1.15 pounds when I got home, really? I guess if you do this to every customer it is worth the few dollars, until you run out of customers. Café is lovely. Stay away from the butcher!

We order from Café Beirut on a weekly basis for our corporate lunches and the food is always fresh and delicious. Ahmad(who I think is the owner) has the best customer service, always goes the extra mile to make sure we are more than satisfied. I definitely recommend Café Beirut for all your catered events.

Let’s be honest, you can buy Halal meat in almost any neighborhood in Northern Virginia. It’s nolonger hard to come by. But what still is hard to come by is outstanding customer service, from kind, friendly people who are the OWNERS! The best, freshest cuts of lamb and other meat may cost a little bit more, bYou cut that’s what you pay for QUALITY! Make sure to chat up the butcher and ask how he would season things, he has a wealth of knowledge and is super friendly. He will even tell you«no» if necessary, which has prevented me from ruining for then my fair share of lovely cuts of meat.

Very fresh halal meat. I stopped going to Fair Price market and started coming here because the quality of the meat was so much better. It’s slightly more expensive but worth it for the better quality in my opinion. I do agree that other items like frozen vegetables are cheaper elsewhere. But still highly recommend.
