No more buffet. Dropped in last weekend, and they said, «no more.»

Great food and great service. I have had such great memories with that. The noodle dishes are delicious, as well as the beef dishes. The soups are quite exotic with a blend of culminated flavors.

I have ordered from here twice on grubhub. Both times food came within 45 minutes and food was consistent. I have had better Thai food but for quick delivery, it works for me! I also love that you can order from the kids menu for smaller portions and variation.

Lunch special is amazeballs — had a kinda cocunut milk chicken soup, pork dumplings I couldn’t eat(forgot to ask for veggie instead– but they looked great!) and the best drunk man noodle I’ve had in a LONG time. I substituted seafood for $ 2 extra and to my surprise, it was legit seafood– LARGE scallops, shrimp, calamari, mussels and none of that fake crabmeat. Also ordered the curry puff and the texture was perfect and they were delicious. Overall — Yum! Next time I’m in VA, I will be ordering again. Can.not.wait.

I’ve been here for lunch many times and can’t believe I’ve not written a review as yet. They have lunch combo where you can have their spring roll, lemongrass soup and main entrée. I have had their chicken green curry which is my favorite from here. Lots of fresh vegetables and good amount of spice! Portion is good enough, curry comes in a bowl and rice on the side. My second favorite is their chicken pad Thai. It was good too but I wouldn’t say it was the best I’ve ever had. Their food over all is pretty outstanding. Place is super clean and spacious inside too. I do feel like they are always short staffed though, takes forever to order, pick up and get waited on. But everyone seems really nice and when you do have their attention, they cater to your needs. Lunch combos are like 12 – 14 dollars which in my opinion is pretty good. I have not had their seafood entrees/appetizers and only had to-go orders and dine for lunch,(not dinner).

Unfortunately, it appears that they no longer have the buffet available. I still really like the Garlic Chicken and other food that I have tasted, but the buffet was the reason a few of my coworkers would choose this restaurant over others.

First night of our Washington trip we walked from Embassy Suites to I-Thai, easy walk. My husband and I both got the Drunken noodles made to our individual choice of heat. We both were delighted with our dishes, delicious and out Thai heat was met. Service was great as well.

Excellent food overall! I got the beef drunken noodles and penang curry with chicken and they were both insanely delicious! I also ordered the tom yum soup with veggies and it was great! It does come with tofu so just make sure to ask for veggies only if you are not a tofu person like myself :-)

I have been to this place a dozen times and here is my experience. They have a huge selection of foods. Most of them are okay, the chicken satay is fine, dry at times, but okay. The presentation of their food is so-so as most of the trays look like they have been picked over. It is classic buffett and you won’t get sick. You will be full and the food is decent. The best reason to go is how quick it is and how much you get to eat along with the selection. If they did one thing to improve the food it would be keeping it fresher, quicker turnover. But I am sure that is no easy feat. I will be back for sure.

Nice atmosphere with friendly staff. There chicken drunken noodle and Spicy Basil fried rice with sea food is excellent. And never forget the soups and chicken satay. I would have given them 5 stars if their afternoon Buffett had matched the quality of food from the menu. At times buffet is limited in quantity for the 13.00 $ they charge.

I-Thai is located near Tysons Corner area so lunch can be really crowded and parking is very limited. It is across from Walmart and metro station, so traffic during lunch hours. I came here with co-workers for lunch. I came here a few times. First couple times I tried their lunch buffet. It is $ 13.99 per person, but they do have many selections and bigger buffet table. They have seafoods curry, chicken curry, seafoods fried rice, etc, also with papaya salad and fruits. Since I am eating vegeterian, I ordered a lunch box. It comes with two small dumplings or 1 eggroll(your choice) and 1 bowl of soup. I ordered pad see ew veggie and tofu. The flavor is rich but a little too salty. Overall I think the portion and the quality is good for lunch box. The price is $ 10.99 for that meal, which I think it is decent for lunch in McLean area. I will definitely be back for their lunch buffet when I am able to eat meat again. If you check in, you get one free thai iced-tea.

2.5 stars We were on our way to a concert at Wolftrap and decided to order takeout so we could picnic in the park. Since my husband wanted some variety of Asian food and this had the highest rating amongst the local takeout places, this one was the one we selected. At the end of the day, It’s not so much that there is anything wrong with this Thai restaurant as that it just isn’t impressive in any way. He ordered an appetizer of calamari and a beef pad thai; I ordered a vegetarian pad see ew. The pad thai looked unusually red in color, and overall he felt that it was fine but far from the best. As for my pad see ew, I felt the same. The vegetables were fairly good and the flavors were there, but the noodles were very, very soft to the point that they seemed pretty over-done. Both of us felt that the dishes were passable but far from great. Overall, I would certainly not discourage anyone from going here but just caution them that there is much, much better Thai food out there.

I’ve visited I-Thai about 4 times by now for lunch and they never disappoint me. I’ve brought a couple of coworkers and friends here and they also loved it. I usually order the Spicy Basil Fried Rice with Beef or the Drunken Noodles with Beef both of which are succulent and hearty, the beef is tender and the rice and noodles are not dry. I’ve been in Thailand and I’ve never quite liked Thai food there as much as I like it at this restaurant here in Tysons. I haven’t tried their lunch buffet yet but it seems to be quite popular — most people coming in for lunch appear to choose the buffet option vs a la carte. A la carte portions may look small but don’t underestimate them — I often end up boxing half of the meal for later. Maybe not the trendiest place for a Happy Hour but I checked out their HH prices and they are very decent! Tip: If you have trouble finding parking in the front lot, you can park on the roof deck of the parking garage behind the building and walk through the corporate building to the i-Thai side.

Just moved to the neighborhood for work and decided to give this place a try since I’m a fan of Thai food. The food quality is pretty good and prices are decent. However, service is a bit lackluster and the buffet is pretty much empty for long stretches of time. Perhaps we went on a bad day, so I’m giving this place 3 starts due to the good food and the quality, but I hope this isn’t a regular thing. Will try it again and update my review.

Skip this lunch buffet and drive all the way to Bangkok Golden instead. I came here for lunch and over the course of an hour everything was either empty or extremely scant. The only container more than 5% full was the fried rice. Don’t assume they’ll refill it. If it looks empty, order off the menu. For the price of a lunch buffet you can order 1.5 meals and actually get a chance to eat something.

This restaurant is near the Sheraton so we decided to try it for lunch one day. The Thai lunch buffet was quite interesting because I could sample all kinds of flavors on one plate. Main problems were they kept running out of chicken satay and they never refilled the tom kha in the big pot. Aside from those issues though, it was a good way to try everything in one meal for a price that wasn’t completely unreasonable.

Some work colleagues and I were staying at the Sheraton and walked over to iThai. They had a great buffet with lots of options including several vegetarian dishes. A great way to sample a range of Thai food. The veggies were fresh and it appeared the dishes were recently made and not sitting under lights turning to goo. Buffett was $ 13.99 plus they had other lunch specials. A good happy hour with $ 3 imported $ 2.50 domestic beers.

Probably the best Thai restaurant in VA. I loved their chicken BBQ. It wasn’t too oily nor too dry, just perfect. Everything was just so. TASTEFUL! Thumbs up! Coming back soon :)

Kinda yuck. Service was really mediocre. Servers had no idea what beer they had. What the happy hour specials were. Servers never checked on the table after the food was served. Slow service. Food wasnt great. Watery curry without flavour. The spice rack they offered was empty. Asked for another. Just as empty. No peppers or chili sauce. Gross. Will not return.
