extremely rude and unhelpful staff. Don’t buy into the hype.

I took one of my worn out bag to fix it. One staff helped me out. He was not sure and the manager was out. he took some pictures and promised to contact me tomorrow. He registered my personal info like address and phone number and gave me his business card. I hope they could find a way to fix it asap. He is really fast and polite, which amazed me with the LV business manner. If they can fix it, I’ll review again and give 5 stars!

Love the service here at the store within Bloomingdales in Tysons I. You can use your Bloomingdales credit card to earn points. I’ve been to the one in the Galleria and they completely ignored me. Today, Allen was really patient with me while I was trying to decide between several purses. Allen offered to look up when the next double points day would be and told me he could give me a call to remind me. Fortunately for me its within my 14 day window to return the purse so I can get credit for the double points. This is my third purchase at this location so it is the service that keeps me coming back.

I’ve gone to other Louis Vuitton store and had much better experience than this location. The wait to be served is ridiculous! It took 45 mins before someone can assist me. It was just that packed! Of course the staff stays with 1 customer the whole time once you got their undivided attention. So if you don’t snag a staff when you see them free then someone will grab them before you can. There should be a better system than just«snag a staff» lol. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable of the products. They are not pushy sales people trying to shove products down your throat. I love LV products and this location seems to carry most things except for shoes and apparel. But for wallets, purse, belts, sunglasses, & jewelry they have it here.

Honestly for this store I only go to one SA, her name is Donna. I like how I can go in the store, tell her what I want. She shows me the item(if they have it, if not I have the option to order it~). Some SA’s will stop there but with Donna she will show me what other items that might interest me. Its always a pleasure working with her. Call ahead and see if she’s working~ I’ve learned to always call ahead, check if the SA is working, check if the item is in stock. Days I just stop by I get the crappiest SA on the floor. This shop is next to Hermes and Arden~

While Louis Vuitton stores are usually staffed by service oriented people(see the stores at Neiman Marcus at Tysons 2, or at Bloomingdales at Tysons 1), this one is snobby and rude. Bought a wallet here and they botched the embossing job. Instead of just owning up to it, they told me that my expectations were too high and that they would not address it further. Excuse me, how could I not have high expectations for a $ 600 wallet??? Bunch of A-holes at this location. Visit the shop at Neiman Marcus across the street if you wanted to be treated like a human being.

if i could give negative points i would. When you visit a designer boutique such as LV, you expect star customer service. You buy a bag from LV for a specific type of customer service and craftsmanship. I was met with disdain, snottiness and condescension. I have a LV bag that i have only owned for ONEMONTH. The straps began to rip on it and i took it in to see if i could get a replacement. The saleswoman and one of the«repair» managers were both unhelpful, snobby and rude. She didn’t apologize for the state of the bag and went so far as essentially telling me that i had done something wrong to the bag, or carried too much in it and the bag itself was not defective as sold to me. If a bag’s straps are ripping after only owning it for a month, i would consider that defective as sold. I have other LV bags and none of them have ripped. I have NEVER experienced such horrible customer service from an LV boutique except for this one. Maybe its because its the east coast, i don’t know. I will NEVER be going back to this boutique and probably won’t buy another LV bag again. This left a horrible taste in my mouth. I called corporate to file a complaint with that store. They were much nicer and i am planning on going to another LV boutique to see what they can do because obviously the one in Leesburg Pike could not do anything but act rudely.

When visiting a fine retail shop such as Louis Vuitton, you expect to be served. Buying or not, these commission whores better serve you. For this reason, I ONLY buy from Mike. He will spend hours with me if needed and show me every single bag, wallet, whatever I want to see without me even asking. Even if I just glance at a bag, it’s out and ready for me to try on. On the other hand, I was in there about 2 weeks ago, and unfortunately Mike was off. Usually I would wait for him, but I was taking my coworker who knew exactly what she wanted. Granted, I had just bought 2 purses in the span of 3 weeks here for myself. brought a friend in to buy a wallet. and not to mention I visit quite often. the manager and the Asian guy did not even try to seem interested in helping. They were short and acted as though they had other things to do. when no one else was in the store. This is what makes me hate walking into these shops. Make sure you ask for Mike when you go(tall Asian guy) and make sure to tell him Mai sent you. Otherwise, don’t waste your time with the other sales people in there. Trust me on this one. I don’t mess around with my bags. *oh and make sure to ask to look at the catalogs. they have all the styles. that they don’t display. this way you can show them and they will take it out for you*

Granted it was the holiday season and they are a bit busy, the service here was definitely subpar for an LV store. Having gone w/my friend to shop for his gift, we waited forever before being even acknowledged and helped. The sales clerk wasn’t even that helpful. It felt like pulling teeth trying to get them to service you. Where’s the top notch service that should go w/their killer price? Also, this is one of the smallest LV stores that I’ve ever been to. Considering this is one of the richest places in the US, shouldn’t LVMH consider opening a larger store to service all their clientele here, such as the incoming Michelle Obama?
