I could take or leave tanning, and could take or leave Palm Beach Tan. I maybe stop in once or twice a month during the fall and winter, and sometimes everything goes very well, and other times it doesn’t. A super high for Palm Beach Tan was that I forgot my tanning lotion(a $ 100+ bottle I had bought at this location) so the attendant gave me a packet of the same lotion for free, and all was well! A few times however I have stripped down, put on my lotion, pushed the start button to… nothing. The associate had set the wrong bed, or put me in the wrong room which then has resulted in me having to put clothes on over top of my applied lotion, track down an associate and either reset the bed or change rooms, then start the process over. This is annoying and ridiculous. Palm Beach has done a great job implementing a huge line of sunless products, and offers a variety of different spray tan options. I could justify my terrible sporadic tanning habit a million ways, but I won’t. I will say that I am a health care provider, and so doing this is the epitome of hypocrisy. That being said – spray tanning is worthless. You smell for days, the colors always look yellow/orange no matter how well you’re told they will blend, it stains your sheets, and when it starts to wash off you end up with patches of white shining through– NOT cute. I’m not a seasoned tanner and have only belonged to the Palm Beach chain, but I would venture to guess there are better.

I’ve been visiting Palm Beach Tan for over 5 years and have had nothing but spectacular service. The employees are all friendly and willing to help in anyway they can. However, today, when I called to change my credit card on file… Meredith answered and when I told her who I was she hung up. After repeated attempts at calling back with no success at an answer, I finally called corporate and …“Miracle”, Meredith answers. I own my own business and though I may not fire an employee for these actions, I would certainly curtail their client interactions.

I wanted to write a review mainly because of Becca. She is always so nice, welcoming, knowledgeable, gets me to buy products without being pushy ;-) Place is always clean and rooms ready. Love my mini tanning vacations! Thanks Becca!

I’ve been a palm beach tan member for several years. I had always gone to the fair lakes location on west ox but When my work relocated me to vienna, I started to come to this one. I LOVEIT! The staff is super friendly and all learned my name and what I liked in no time! They make you feel welcome the moment you walk into the door! The machines are always clean, I don’t think I’ve ever had to wait for a bed to be ready and they have new updated beds in which they change the bulbs in regularly. Since this is the only tanning salon I know of in Vienna I’m so grateful that it’s such an awesome one!

I used to love Palm Beach Tan, but had not been for 4 or 5 years, so I was really looking forward to going back enjoying a spray on tan for a special event. UNFORTUNELY — — Trouble using the coupon we got from their website. Trouble parking. Trouble with staff when I balked at their insane insistence on producing a photo ID just to get a spray in tan for godsakes, and THENTRYINGTOFINGERPRINTUS. Are you kidding me with that? Super intrusive amd danger, danger, danger. With you driver’s license information, your fingerprints and your credit card information, they are one database hack or disgruntled employee away from utter chaos in the form of identity theft on a large and damaging scale. I was seriously disturbed at their complete and utter disregard for the privacy, safety and security of their customers. Same thing at the other locations; this crazy, unfounded, ridiculous policy of near cavity-searching cutomers is company wide, not specific to just this location. Amanda M said it best, «It’s such a shame because I think the salon itself is always clean and has the best and newest machines.» WHAT A PITY.

I got my very first spray tan ever done at this tanning salon yesterday night and it was a fun experience. The young lady who was attending to us was helpful and seemed very knowledgeable. The facility was clean, well — lit, and spacious for such a small facility. I went late at night, an hour near closing time, and there was a line that formed(thankfully after my group) for the VeraSpa Spray Tan booth. That seemed to be the most popular. Overall, I was happy with the results. The customer service was decent. Parking wasn’t an issue that late at night, but I can definitely see the parking lot as a source of complaint. There is a Starbucks in the same little plaza. Parking can definitely get crazy during the day. Maple Ave is also a pain. Best bet is to go early morning or late at night!

This salon is about the only game left. Others have folded. Erin and her staff are very professional. Their equipment is superior to other salons, including the PBT in Falls Church. Hours are convenient. Value is good. I am able to maintain a very deep tan from three or four sessions per week. Problem areas are their 24 hour policy, which is enforced by computer and means you cannot tan more than once in any 24 hour period — even by a few minutes. Parking, as mentioned by other reviewers, is a hassle during peak periods. They also virtually require your bank account or credit card information for monthly automatic draws on the first. This can be a hassle if you want to skip a month or make changes. Their little fingerprint validating exercise, which some might consider a privacy invasion, is a complete joke.

This place is majorly overpriced for both regular and spray tanning. I feel that since they are a chain and almost a monopoly in this area(because they’ve bought other salons) they can drive up the pricing. It’s such a shame because I think the salon itself is always clean and has the best and newest machines.
