A good and honest dentist. My only ding is that the cleaning was unusually painful.

A good family dentist. And… hey – they do their crowns in-house… which seriously cuts down on the waiting time. Staff’s friendly. If I were sticking around, I’d definitely use this guy for routine stuff as well.

I don’t think I’ve ever been this impressed with a dentist in my life. About a year ago I was told I needed Maxillofacial surgery in addition to orthodontics to fix issues I’ve had for a long time. After freaking out, I went about tracking down second, third and sixth opinions. Every orthodontist and dentist I visited seemed to try to either scare me in to having the surgery or scare me out of having it. Completely frustrated I called Dr. Lenz’s office and asked for a consultation. They squeezed me in the next day without a problem. Dr. Lenz was professional, honest and forthcoming with a good deal of information which brought together my options. He explained in great detail the pros and cons of various treatment methods and told me what the surgery would fix and what would be unreasonable to expect. I did not feel pressured in to one form of treatment over the other, but felt I was given the facts and options but that the ultimate decision would be up to me. This was much better than the scare tactics I felt I had been receiving. He also gave me a referral to another orthodontist. Considering that I am not currently a patient of his and he was not charging for this consultation he gave me a good deal of time(about 30 minutes). After this extremely positive experience, I believe I will be making him my regular dentist!

Dr. Lenz has been my dentist and oral surgeon for years. I was one of those freaks that had braces for 7 years because an early orthodontist made a horrible mistake and pulled a tooth that he wasn’t supposed to. As a result, I needed oral implants. This was a big deal and it wasn’t something where I was just going to go to anyone. After asking just about everyone I know, I ended up in the office of Dr. Lenz. The office is small but clean and comfortable. The receptionist, Dee, is warm and welcoming and knows everyone by name. She is friendly on the phone and is accommodating. Dr. Lenz himself is a very very nice person who treats people like people and not patients. He makes time to actually talk to you about life and other things. Every single visit was a pleasure. Because an orthodontist messed me up, I needed a new one to fix me up. Dr. Thomas is right down the street and worked very closely with Dr. Lenz in order to get me my new teeth. The two of them talked all the time and even had lunch together to discuss the train wreck that were my teeth. The two of them worked wonderfully together. I never had to coordinate them and they even stayed steps ahead of me. I would go to one and they already knew what the other one was going to do and thus knew what they were suppose to do. I was never asked. I know this almost sounds silly because, why would they talk to me about something that I really didn’t understand? But I guess I always overestimated teamwork amongst doctors. These two did an amazing job together. The work that he did on my teeth are amazing. No one knows that i have implants except other dentists who marvel at the job that he did. If you need an oral surgeon, Dr. Lenz is your man.
