This is my favorite nail place to go to in the area! Everyone is super nice and the place is extremely clean. Plus, for the location it is in, it is reasonably priced. I always get a pedicure and they make sure that the dead skin on my feet is gone-​with all means available. Free wifi is a big plus.

Christina really seems to understand thick curly hair. She gave my daughter a beautiful cut and everyone at school wanted to know who cut her hair!

I was looking for a nail salon close to my job to get a quick mani/​pedi on my lunch break. I called Friday morning, and was able to get an appointment with no problem. Hasha was great! She took her time, my pedicure was flawless and my nails beautiful! Relaxing atmosphere and the massage chairs were a good bonus! $ 35 for both manicure and pedicure, so it’s def reasonable! I’ll be back if I need another quick lunchtime mani/​pedi!

Just tried this place and so far so good. Only thing is that my manicure could be a bit better. She made my nail polish coats uneven and you can kind of tell. Still I would give them another try and just tell them next time.

This is my first time going to a real nail salon that is not my aunt’s after years of doing my own nail art and it was very pleasant!
I got a set of gel nails done with a few rhinestones on my ring fingers and it looked lovely. I got a lot of compliments,
The staff was very nice and the lady who worked on my nails was very meticulous and careful with her work. I do not think it is too overpriced, but my aunt in law disagrees lol.
I also might add that Helen is such a beauty! I will come again with Japanese nail art in mind~

I am so disappointed in the haircut I had w/​Christina. I had heard so many good things about her and had even witnessed with my own two eyes a very happy slightly older woman with a bob as she walked away from the salon chairs, touching her hair and extolling Christina’s praises… Well, I will not be getting my haircut by Christina again– perhaps not anyone at Vision of Beauty.
I showed up with a picture in hand and described in detail to her what I wanted. When you are getting a significant amount of hair cut off (I wanted a so-​called ‘long bob’), there is no room for mistakes! She proceeded to cut my hair at an odd angle, and– while it is growing on me– I should NOT have to go home and rewash my hair after an appointment, just to restyle it, so that I can go on with my day as planned. I had even planned to take pictures with my friend of my new haircut and it just wasn’t what I wanted (pictures still happened but I was not 100% happy with my cut).
Once she finished and we walked to the front so she could ring me up/​tell the woman sitting at the reception desk (forget her name) how much I would be charged, I find out that the cut was going to be $ 50 instead of $ ³⁰⁄₃₅ which is how much I had been quoted when I made the appointment!!! When you don’t have a ridiculous amount of expendable income to throw around, that does make a difference, especially when you always feel obligated to tip those in service roles.
Needless to say, I was a little shocked, still ended up tipping her– just $ 5– as I am always guilty if I don’t tip, and left in silence. Perhaps this is my fault for not just sucking it up and going someplace like PR @ Partners. Lesson learned.

I have been here twice now.
I’ve had very sub par experiences at other nail salons. (I always get a full acrylic set with the tips painted. Not too long, not too short)
My first visit here, Helen did my nails for me and I was shocked at how efficient she was at her job. She was so sweet and made me feel very comfortable. And to top it all off, my nails stayed on, no lifting no chipping, up until I went in for my second appointment more than 3 weeks later! I work at a very physical job and my nails always start lifting or just completely fall off within a week.
I got my nails done again by Helen about 5 days ago and they are still perfect.

the pedi was good and the chair was fun BUT my mom and I called ahead for appointments and then they didn’t give us seats next to each other

I drive to this place 20 minutes from Reston to have a great manicure and pedicure with Ann. I also had pedicure with Hanna and she was very good. They are all very nice and accommodating and the prices are reasonable.

I came to this place to get my eyebrows done and asked to for two things: to keep them thick and to make them even. What do I end up with? Pretty thin looking eyebrows with one of them higher than the other. The lady tried to fix them but ended up just making them thinner. ANd they are still uneven. Never again!

I love this place. I go to Lisa and Linda but think everyone is probably great. They ALWAYS accommodate me somehow that goes above and beyond. Most recently they stayed open later than usual to do my gel manicure. They didn’t rush me and they did a wonderful job.
The price is fine. High quality & nice people!

Superb service, very very impressed. Sera was excellent, we got a daughter-​mother pedic/​mani combo. It was my 10years old first professional pedi/​mani. She also got a haircut and has recieved many compliments

I can’t speak to the haircut services here but will talk about Lisa the nail technician to no end! I’ve been going to Lisa for years (back when she used to work at another location in Vienna) and she’s recently joined the staff here. Her manis and pedis are always PERFECT and she spends so much time on each. Definitely recommend making an appointment with her!

This was my first time at the salon and I was looking for a place to get a pedicure. I decided to get a spa pedicure to treat myself. They had some nice massaging chairs (very fancy). I got there at a good time since it wasn’t busy but as I was getting my pedicure, it was starting to fill up. I found this place all thanks to Unilocal! The lady (Hannah) that helped me was nice and didn’t pressure me into other types of services. Being from San Diego, usually the ladies were trying to sell me everything. I usually don’t like to be bothered since I know what I want done. I don’t like the pressure so it was perfect for me. This might be the spot I go to from now on since its close to me. I plan to make an appointment next time but this was a spur of the moment decision.

The recent renovations and friendly staff help create a calm and relaxing experience. Helen is the absolute best nail technician I’ve ever encountered, however all the ladies are excellent. Highly recommended! Great value and service for the price!

I needed a manicure and a friend recommended Helen to me. I was impressed with Helen from the 1^st visit. She did the best pink & white fill I’ve ever had. Complete strangers complimented me on my nails. Even though I don’t live very close, I still continue to make the trip to see her and she hasn’t disappointed me. Today she did an awesome pedicure for me, too. The rest of the staff is very sweet & friendly. I highly recommend checking it out!

I am more than happy to recommend Visions of Beauty and Christina!!! I am given daily compliments (by both men and women) on my hairstyle and color. No Lie!!!
She was referred to me 3 or 4 years ago by a young professional attorney I knew that always had the cutest cut and color! She told me that her mother, grandmother and herself had been customers of Christina’s for many, many years. I was so excited when I initially went because I have very thick hair and have had problems getting a cute hairstyle that was easy to maintain. I had high expections and Christina did not disappoint, but rather got it right on the first try! She is always upbeat and friendly, and more importantly, SKILLED.
She has kept the salon open late for me when I was held up by traffic even when I offered to reschedule. Even with my tardiness, Christina has always remained cheerful and taken her time, treating me as as if I were here at the beginning of the day. I have also gotten several pedicures there with Linda. She has always been equally as talented and polite.
I have lived in the area since 1988 and I have yet to find a salon or stylist that can even compete with Christina’s talents ~

I am new to the area and stopped at Vision of Beauty, Thanks to Christina and her staff I found my new Hair and Nail family. Thanks Christina see you soon.

Vision of Beauty was recommended by a friend’s mother, who swears by the place. After my first visit (of many), I can see why. The place is run by two ladies, Christina and Nina. Both are polite, friendly, and more importantly, both are skilled.
I have had my eyebrows done by Christina on more than one occasion and each time I was satisfied by the shape of my unruly brows. I would wholeheartedly recommend Nina if you’re looking to get a haircut. She’ll ask all the right questions, including the «how much time do you want to spend each morning on your hair?» This is not a place you’ll leave in tears over a mullet — each time, I’ve been very pleased with both my haircut and the service.
Christina appears to be more of the boss, and on two occasions, she has kept the shop open late for me when I was held up by traffic even when I offered to reschedule. When I finally arrived, disgruntled from the traffic, Christina was still cheerful and took her time, treating me as courteously as if I were here at the beginning of the day and not encroaching on the end of her day.
I have yet to get any of their facial or other spa treatments but friends (and their mothers) who have gone are fans. That’ll be my next visit…
