Perfect spot to go if you want your girlfriend to get attacked by a drunk asshole while the employees watch and let it happen(and still serve him drinks afterward). Piece of shit bar with a shit staff. Hope this place gets shut down.

If you enjoy the burbs, this might be the place for you. Shitty music and dancing at the bar. Pool sharks, fake bikers, yoga pants, and wanna be gym rats. Last call(130 on a Saturday) appears to be a nightly phenomenon. Off-the-clock Hostesses and their sex partners come around to collect your glass fifteen minutes later but don’t have your bill ready.

Every time I go to demitos I feel at home, maybe because I live next door, but mostly because the staff is so kind. Which brings me to my next point, great pool tables. They get them re-felted several times a year. My favorite part about the D are the pool tables. Definitely join one of the APA teams that play out of this place. Great people, great times. If you like a generous poor and relatable staff, come to the D.

Pretty good bar with pretty great staff. Make sure you’ve got a taste for country music & classic rock if you come here too. The drinks can either be blah or outstanding, depending on who you get as a bartender… I try to go to Bree or Christina if they are working.

Can you say ‘dump’? I got a hugely discounted coupon and thought we had found a bar and grill. Nope. Just a dump bar with too loud music and full of drunks. Later.

Dump. I wish this place would close and that it would be leveled, napalmed, disinfected, nuked, and then converted to a Japanese garden. I hate this place being in our neighborhood.

With two other bars next door Id say move on. Some suicide girl wannabe spent more time doing her homework than bartending. Zero sociability and wasn’t even offered a menu. Bar was ¾ full. Its a drug bust away from being another Riley.

Dive bar lovers rejoice! No longer needed to travel into the city… you can get your fix right here in Villa Park! Beer garden that is super fun and cheeky — stuffed bull over the outside bar, huge oversized chess, bags and these killer table fire pits — can have a great time mingling over a game of deer hunt and finding new friends. Bands are awesome! Drinks even better! Love their new loungy area… super comfy couches to sleek into while watching a good game of pool. This place is the shite!

Third stop on my VP birthday bar crawl. I have no idea what this bar is called. Demito’s? Double D’s? Whatever the name, good times will be had here. It was much bigger than I expected. There’s a bar off to the left upon walking in, a floor/stage area to the right where a band was playing that night, two pool tables toward the back, a couch area next to it, and a patio in the back. Definitely a roadhouse feel. I was so excited to drink a beer that wasn’t from 1970. They actually had some crafts! I had a Hoegarden and a Church Street beer(forgot which one but doesn’t matter. Their beers are great!). A few of my friends went off to dance and watch the band while the rest of us hung out and played pool while rockin’ out to the tunes. Interesting crowd. It’s a good mix of regulars and young adults. In true Villa Park fashion, I saw an almost fight, along with the guy’s girlfriend jumping in to try to defend him, unsuccessfully since she was drunk. Always fun to see. The bartender was great. He made us really good lemon drop shots, complete with sugar and a lemon. You don’t always get that when you ask for this shot, so kudos to him. After going to a few more bars, we ended our night at Double D’s and hung out on the patio until closing time. It was a beautiful night to be outside. Yeah, there’s not much of a view and it’s enclosed but it’s a good size and a nice way to chill away from the bar. I’ll definitely be coming back when I want to go out for a drink and a good time.

I vacillated between 3 and 4 stars for Demito’s. It’s a standard local bar that has a great patio. However, the bartenders make it a 4 for me. Joe is great — always willing to share a cowboy hat, makes the best lemon drop shots in the Western suburbs and even lends a towel when angry girlfriends dump their drinks on you. Thanks, Joe!

My guy and I LOVE this place. We aren’t bikers, we aren’t regulars, but the staff always treats you like you are. We love the atmosphere, especially sitting outside in the summer listening to the AWESOME jukebox. The food is bar food, but after a few beers, it tastes like heaven. We love coming here, and will continue to…

My favorite getaway. The owner is extremely friendly and has been cleaning up the place over the last few years and has been doing a great job with it. They have a great place to throw a party with free appetizers for your guests. I love the Turkey melt as a wrap and the chicken enchilladas. The food is very good now that her daughters are in the kitchen. Only downside is you have to pay cash, so bring money with you and make sure you have enough to pay the hardworking bartenders and waitresses!

Not happy that they don’t pay their bands consistently, or according to their agreements. Bleach played there last week, and even though they’ve packed the place in the past, they got half their agreed payment. Not cool. I won’t be going here again, because I care about local music and how bands get treated. It’s a shame. Could have been a fun place.

We stopped by last Friday afternoon, because we were curious about the Unilocal reviews. I really liked the place. Unpretentious & friendly. The bartender was amazed when we showed her the Unilocal app on my phone. She was very attentive and professional without hovering. We had some laughs. The burgers were good. I’d definitely go back, but the parking is a little tight.

I liked it better when it was a seedy place. They have a lunch buffet that is good and alot of grown ups playingbeanbag in the summertime. Why they want to play a kindegarten game is beyond my comprehension. I would rather see the rough seedy bikers return full force than dumb women playing bean bags and never shutting up

Though not great, this place is certainly better than it used to be. I remember coming here a few years ago and being pretty scared of being shivved on my way to the bathroom. I recall one time when a biker man came up to me and asked what I do for fun, I said that I read books, he then proceeded to ridicule books and anyone who reads them for fun… so much so that my BF and his group of friends felt the need to form a circle around me for protection until our pool game was over. Eep! Today it’s a much less seedy place… don’t get me wrong, it’s still seedy as hell but it ain’t what it used to be. They have all the average domestic beers, cheap pitchers, and what looks like good food… if you eat meat. The burgers are HUGE and smell delicious along with being grilled fresh for only a dollar– really, you can’t beat that… though I try to uphold my personal pledge to not eat here… I don’t trust places that serve greasy spoon style food but are too dark to actually see your food. A few pluses: –outdoor patio(not scenic though) –animal print chairs –pool –jukebox… electronic –cheap food and beverages –the bar will often buy your group a shot or two if you look like you’re having a good time A few non pluses –still kind of scary –I’ve been in here where a biker came in with no shirt on, sat down at the bar, and wore his pet python like a boa… some might consider this a plus but I truly believe in the no shirt, no shoes, no service rule –VERY dark –cops frequent this place to check in… maybe it’s a god thing but it’s scary that it’s a stop on their nightly route. –they have a claw/grabber game with live lobsters in it and if you’re able to catch one, they’ll cook it up for free. It seems very cruel and those lobsters can’t be that well taken care of. Boo to animal cruelty.
