Some places have Moe’s or Chipotle, Vincennes has Chavas and we are glad they do. Great alternative to the many burger places in town. Love to choose my own fillings. The meat is moist and has a good taste and there are good veggies, pico and peppers to choose from. Choice of refried or black beans. Good portions too. Even the regular burrito is quite big. Once we finally tried Chavas we keep coming back.

Great option for Vincennes. I love the food. Very Chipotle like, and fast service. Could perhaps be cleaner, but I usually don’t hang around.

Chava’s offers Mexican food fast, and it does this extremely well. The food is of very high quality and tastes great. It all seems very fresh. My wife and I both absolutely love the nachos, which are made to your specifications when you order and are big enough to make a meal out of. In fact, we love the nachos so much we haven’t tried much else. The staff is friendly. I would recommend this place for a tasty lunch or dinner on the go.

Don’t let the fast-​food façade fool you. This place is a small miracle of great Mexican quisine. I recently moved to Vincennes from Los Angeles and, respectfully, I just haven’t been blown away by the local Mexican fair. When I saw the Chava’s sign while driving down Hart Street I had to give it a try.
What a delight! The pork quesadilla was fresh and soooo tender! The cheese (always a giveaway) tasted wonderful, and it was completely affordable!
My wife and I enjoyed it so much we couldn’t stop eating. I want to start a campaign to get the word out on this place, so it will be around for a long time!
