Applebee’s

I had visited this Applebee’s on a Saturday evening. The waitress was very friendly. I ordered an appetizer and dinner. The appetizer was fine. My girlfriend and I got our dinners. Both were overcooked and rubbery. Not to mention the food tasted like they didn’t clean off the grills. Had a nasty taste to it. I went to use the men’s room and was sliding on grease on the floor by the kitchen and bar area. The place didn’t seem very clean and I wouldn’t recommend anyone dining there.

This is a very consistent chain restaurant. The beer is always ice cold and the happy hour specials are great. We like mom and pop, but like I said, for a chain, this is ok

Not an Applebee’s fan in general, but a friend wanted to meet here for drinks. Mediocre food and service is below par. Got a sticky glass when I ordered a drink and bartender never cane back to replace the glass so i went ti the bathroom, washed my hands and went back ti that bar with a wet napkin to wipe the glass. Bartender service was BLAH. Made me want to leave. Appetizer was greasy, and lukewarm. Asked her to split tab between two and she got it wrong. It’s a busy spot and I like that it’s a family restaurant with a bar, but will not be my first choice.

Ok so I am a bit disappointed in the reataurant. To be the only thing open after 10 I would hope there would be a bit more to offer. Service was extremely slow even though the restaurant wasn’t crowded at all. Ok… a major pet peeve of mine is a bad looking restroom. Theirs was HORRIBLE. Almost the whole floor was wet and sticky. There were paper towels all over the sink and floor and there was an odor. Yuck. My food was nice and hot but overcooked! Besides that the food was bland. I guess I couldn’t win!

Stopped by for lunch with my wife, we often come here and have a quick lunch or dinner. They added some new burgers and whatnot and one of my favorite items sweet potato fries. I decided on their new Triple Bacon Burger with sweet potato fries. I would have to say to my surprise that this was without a doubt the best burger I’ve ever gotten from Applebee’s. Cooked properly, seasoned well and the bacon was crispy. The cheddar and the BBQ sauce accompanied the rest of the burger well. The fries were also very good, crispy on the outside and nice a soft on the inside. Our waitress Jen was on point and was a pleasure to be severed by. I would say however that if this experience didn’t go so good I would have only given them 3 stars beings we have had some issues before this visit, but sense this visit was right on point and pleasurable… 4 stars it is.

Seat at the bar, Marcia was exceptional bartender, but the food… Mediocre! Ordered sirloin medium cooked, what a surprise it came dry and we’ll done so I returned it. I believe this steaks are frozen and old, defrost the food when order. The guy next to me had Ribs, his plate looked like a TV dinner, small and bad look.
First and last time at Applebee’s for food.

I hate eating by myself and I stopped in anyway because I had a mean craving for chicken fajitas. Not only does every wait staff stare at me like an alien because I’m alone, but I’m seated near the hostess station by the front door. Well I parked right out front as it was 45 minutes after they opened and it wasn’t busy just yet. 5 minutes after I’m seated I hear this obnoxious waiter loudly say to other staff that he hates yellow cars and that they are so ugly. Clearly he his talking about mine as my car is yellow. I loudly let him know he is in fact talking about my car and he doesn’t even apologize! I become a laughing stock at all the staff in the restaurant. I get it everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but the fact that he didn’t even come up to me and apologize makes me never want to come back to any Applebee’s location.

I just ordered food from Applebees and it looked hprrible. The serving was like it would only feed a child. When I got it, it was cold as heck. The chicken was dry and the rice was not cooked. I was sooo disappointed. It was the cedar grilled lemon chicken. Gave it away. I couldnt even eat it. Smh!

Sam!!! IS THE best server ever!!! We were going to a movie they were super busy we got in and out in 30 minutes! The food was awesome hot and fresh! The best experience at an Applebee’s to date!!!

Watch out kitchen has tons of bugs. They are dirty behind that kitchen wall! Drinks are filled with syrup!

Aside from the very rude child, being encouraged to scream, at the table behind us, our experience was so-​so.
We had to move to another booth due to the child’s high pitched screams, which left my ears ringing for 5 minutes. Servers were very nice and went out of their way to please us.
I got side salad, which tasted so fresh from the field that still had the soil on it, lol. Suggested that they wash their greens before they served them, it was taken off the bill. And now that I think about it I didn’t get my broccoli that was to come with my meal. The meals were okay, nothing to write home about. We had fish n chips and crunchy fried shrimp.

I used to love Applebee’s. USED to. The past 3 visits there were not something that was pleasant. My Wife and I went one time and ALL of the food seemed to have been cooked in a vat of salt. The Steaks were like eating a big piece of shoe leather marinated in salt. Turns out that Applebee’s gets their steaks in bags that already have a marinade in it. They cut open the bag and cook the Steaks. Way too salty to even consider eating. The Clam Chowder Soup was way too salty. The French Fries were loaded with salt. And even the Baked Potato my wife requested was salty (the butter)? If this were an isolated incident I would go back to see if there were any improvements. Nope-​second and third times were just as bad, Third visit was only because we got a gift card for Christmas. Service is just so-​so, and the wait staff are only sorta friendly; and the wait time is always 45min to an hour most evenings. I’ve been to «decent» Applebee’s across the USA, and this is NOT one of them. NEVER again.

i came here with a party of 6 of us… at first we walk in and they sit us at a table that all of us can no room or space … when we received our drinks … we asked them if we could move to another bigger table in the corner … they said that we would have a different waiter and something about that table was for 8 people … however they moved us anyways. seemed like they had a problem with it… after we got our new waiter … his name was nick… nick took our order n when we received our food about almost an hour later… nick brought our food to us… asked what plate went to who… but since it took so long and after all of us having conversations … we kinda forgot … once my friend rememeber. oh thats my order… nick said something under his breathe n shook his head… nick was extremely rude and not customer friendly… i was then extremely heated and spoke to the manager … she then said she would talk to him about the problem… however the manager never came back to us… other servers where then attending to us instead of nick… we were never accommodated for the rudeness and the time waiting… this applebees is by far the worst one around… i would personally never go to this place again … now the apple bees in turnersville on the black horse pike… they are 100% opposite … they treat customers with the most respect u would never see in vineland… i would not be surprised if they mess around with their food!
BEWARE OF THE VINELAND APPLEBEES!!! YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED !!!

It’s an Applebees! Has all the standard hallmarks of the chain with local memorabilia, large portions, low prices, and friendly service. Speed of service was a bit slow, but can be chalked up to the full house.

Would never go to the Vineland Applebee’s restaurant again. The food is typical diner/​american food, but the service is ridiculous. The first 2 times we had the same unfriendly, lazy woman who go our orders wrong both times. The third, and last, time we went we waited 45 minutes, no one stopped by the table, so we left.

Although I am not a big bar person, I am a big wing person and Applebees has the biggest wings around! The beer is cold and I always get a nice frosty, tall glass. The burgers are great compared to the fast food chains, especially when you consider how much they are charging at the fast food places and what you get for it! The ribs are just the way I like them whether they are dry or with one of their sauces. Let me tell you what makes all these dishes really shine though… Its the people.
The servers are very attentive and are actually smiling and seem happy. I have been to the other area eateries like long horn, chills, Bennigans, texas road house, Cosmo, Bob Evans, you name it, I have eaten there several times over, and none of them come close to Applebees for their service, the friendly attitude of the staff there and the bang for the buck you get as far as food is concerned.
A couple of things to try when you go:
wings but get them dry with the sauce on the side.
Chicken wontons… trust me they are just great with a yueng or two.
the bacon burger with the onion rings, not sure what its called but get it.

No real need to review the food. Good atmosphere and I dig their new bar specials after 9. Big fan of their fries if fresh and seasoned well.

OK, it’s Applebee’s…is there really any point in talking about the food? We all know what it is and what it’s not. I only order salad, appetizers or drinks here and they are all ok, not great, not bad, just ok. I can say that this location is always clean and the staff has always been very friendly to me. Plenty of huge screen TV’s for those that like sports. Don’t expect anything special and you’ll be fine.

Riblets are not ribs! I have Applebees on the do not frequent list.
The one thing this Applebees used to have going for it is that it served the local beer Blue Collar. When that went out of business, nothing was left.
The burgers are frozen and served on dry buns. There is nothing on the menu that shines. While one may come across something that is okay, the menu changes frequently so it is not likely he will be able to repeat that order.
This is a popular spot so the wait is usually significant.
Applebees did add curbside service. We have used that and it has worked well. We order ahead of time and there are three parking spots directly in front. A waitress comes out and brings the food and can run a credit card from your vehicle.

Meh… Applebee’s is Applebee’s; not much has changed. But I had a business meeting yesterday evening and was given the option of dining at the local greasy spoon and eating a plate of slimy, artery clogging vomit or eating at Applebee’s, I voted for Applebee’s.
Everyone in my party was pleased with their choices. In particular, the salads got high praise. My friend and I opted for the 2 for $ 20 deal, which is two entrees (each with their own side) and one app to split. We chose the artichoke and spinach dip and chips to share. The portion was larger than I’ve had it the past. It was enough for the entire table to nibble on. I got the Fiesta Lime chicken which was much better prepared than the last time I got it. It was cooked perfectly, moist and tender. The rice had some of that crunchy «pegao», which I enjoyed, but most diners probably would have complained.
Our server was prompt, but our food was not and I was a little concerned we would all be late the meeting we were prepping for. Our server didn’t hover, but was prompt with the check. I’m not sure if she kept her distance because we were having a meeting, or if she was just lazy. This location is kinda hit or miss but overall it was an okay experience.
