Some Bagels are better than others. Also the spreads matter when making a good bagel. The salmon cream cheese on a regular bagel has been my favorite so far. The bagels are fresh and the people are friendly. Should try.

Outside of New York City or Miami, there is no better bagel shop in the country! The owner, Carlos Villar, is a man of great distinction, perfection and integrity. He is not only one of the most brilliant man I have met, but he is equally kind, discerning and very selective in the quality of food he purchases and produces. He only selects and provides the very finest bagels, breakfast and lunch entrées and the very best cold cuts. Carlos and his son Mike are renown throughout the entire area for their quality bagels and other menu items. Besides being a fantastic chef, entrepreneur and restauranteur, Carlos is also a fantastic raconteur… And he has a large contingency of brilliant devotee customers around him every morning who come in to listen to and participate in his daily observations on the world and local events. The ambiance and clientel here are something Ernest Hemingway would have truly enjoyed — Sports, daily news, and just about anything you can think of is recounted here. Beyond all this, Carlos has a heart of gold and donates all the leftover bagels to local food banks and he is a man to be esteemed and cherished.

Picked up a bakers dozen bagels — tried the cinnamon streusel bagel, which frankly tasted like a plain bagel dusted with with cinnamon, and was stale like it was made two days ago. Friendly people, bagels are nothing to write home about tho

Well as previously stated this is ONE of the few places to get a authentic freshly made Bagel in Vineland. There is Bagel U on the east side of Vineland and New York Sandwhich & Bagel(Authentic bagels although smaller then Bagel U the sandwiches are great since they are fresh eggs and meats you can hear cooking) is on the North side of Vineland. With that being said Bagel U on Magnolia Rd is not somewhere you want to get a good meal from. Yes the bagels are authentic and decently good but the internals are of pure disgust. Not even the cream cheese is worth it. My only suggestion is to get the bagels and make your own egg, bacon /sausage and cheese sandwiches elsewhere or purchase cream cheese elsewhere because you will be disappointed. Also the owner is very arrogant, I believe it has something to do with his friends who are of lower level judges, officer dumb dumb’s and public pretenders.

Stopped off before heading to work as usual. Off on Sundays but often help out when they need it and enjoy picking up breakfast on the way. I arrived and there were plenty of folks sitting out front enjoying their coffee and talking. When I entered the shop there were only a couple customers ahead of me and was attended to promptly by one of the two workers behind the counter.(Both of which appeared unhappy to be there.) I watched the young woman reach in to select my bagel and place it into the toaster. After a few more minutes she summoned me to the counter and with Flat Affect advising me that they didn’t have the flavor cream cheese I had ordered and I needed to select another. I browsed the selection and considered one other flavor but the container was almost empty and it looked as though it may be ready for the trash. I let the girl know(who’s affect now appeared annoyed and impatient) that I usually get the flavor that they were out of and none of the other selections appealed to me. Her affect again changed to Flat with a blank stare. I said that I could try and return again and received a mumble of which was not that of empathy nor an apology of any kind. I rate *Todays servers absolutely awful. They appeared college age however it was apparent they had limited education, training and overall insight in regards to serving and working a deli counter. I may give them another chance despite this happening 2 other times. 4 Strikes and YOU’REOUT!!!

I’m sorry I’ve heard good things about bagel university but I was very disappointed. The bagels were crappie and wow I asked for veggie cream cheese and it tastes like sour cream withe a few diced veggies… disgusting and a sorry excuse for a bagel shop.

I called to place an order and asked the VERY kind girl on the phone to talk to the manager since online pricing and menu is $ 1.00 cheaper on everything. The owner picks up the line and says«are you actually a customer or busting my Ba**s?»… I could not get in any words without him jumping down my throat. Needless to say he told me to do him a favor and not order food from there. What poor customer service and especially poor owner for treating customers this way!!! A simple answer to my question would have sufficed but once he asked about why I’m «breaking his balls» I canceled my order. In all honesty I am unemployed, have a pregnant wife at home, who craved something from there. Besides the fact that these sandwiches are way overpriced. Consumers beware!!! It’s evident that they are out to rip people off for not ordering online!!! I will NEVER give this place business AGAIN if they are going to treat customers like this over a simple question about pricing!!!

this place really is the only place I know locally that makes a decent bagel. The variety is good, the cream cheeses are also good. The atmosphere is ok, a little dark, but carries the university theme well.

It’s almost impossible to find a decent bagel that’s not either uninspired or manufactured. Bagel University does a great job with me reliving my old memories of The Bagel Place, which used to reside in Cherry Hill. Awesome selection of bagels, breakfast sandwiches, and various other items. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed after coming out with a baker’s dozen.

good assortment of bagels, awesome breakfast sandwiches, convenient to travel. Bagel University has a lot of different kinds of bagels and offers great service too.

This is the only place locally I know to get a decent bagel. They are made on premise about 15 feet from where the display case is. The highlight for me are the«university» sandwiches. I like the Roma, which is an Italian bagel sandwich with roasted peppers. One can construct his own sandwich as well. The sandwiches are a bit pricey, but they do taste very good.
