I’ve driven by here many times and have wanted to stop in. The thing is, when you make your own barbecue, finding time to eat someone else’s becomes problematic. :) Today, however, was the perfect day after a medical procedure I was starved. My wife drove me over. I was disappointed that brisket wasn’t available. I instead ordered the pulled pork platter with green beans and cole slaw. The man who ran this was very pleasant. He smokes with a custom built smoker from the Carolinas, I didn’t catch the make. When I sat down to eat this at home I was surprised there were collard greens instead of green beans. They were okay, but I am not a big fan of them. I thought the slaw was lacking. The pulled pork was a sizable portion. It included two slices of white bread, which I associate with Kansas City ‘cue. The pulled pork was fine. It wasn’t full of flavor and I had no bark whatsoever included. This is the challenge when judging commercial barbecue. I like my own pulled pork so much it would take an exceptional dish to challenge it, imo. This was typical pork, but nothing I’d rush out for. A full slab of ribs is $ 28. I hadn’t read any reviews prior to going. I rarely purchase ribs at that price unless I know the quality. Across town, Deek’s Deli serves ribs for the same price, but I also know they are cooked by a state champion. However, if this guy is the same one who used to serve ‘cue on the corner of the Blvd. and Forest Grove, his ribs should be good. I recall having ribs from there a few times during his brief set-up. I will return and try something else next time.

Stopped in here one day when they first opened and the husband and wife team is awesome. They were so friendly. offered me up a sample and everything! I got a nice big rack of ribs. and the sauce they give you for them is also really good(really. really good). I haven’t been here since they first opened so I haven’t had the chance to check out the other stuff on the menu like the sides yet, but I will definitely be returning to try them out again!

Good BBQ. They don’t sauce the ribs which means it is true honest bbq. They have sauce for you, they just don’t automatically slather it all over the ribs. Owner was nice and friendly. I will definitely go back. I would have bought more but they are cash only and my cash on hand was limited. Give«The One» a try, I don’t think you will be dissapointed.

If you’re in the mood or even not in the mood for barbecue do not pass this place by!!! First time stopping here today and was greeted with a warm hello and a sample of the beef and pork ribs which were both truly delicious. I ordered the chicken platter with greens and potato salad(both were very very tastee) and the home made barbecue sauce that was incredible!!! This is the best barbecue around!!! Mr. Mason and his wife are such nice good people and it was very clean inside. The portions are great for the price. Do not hesitate to place an order here!

I honestly love these ribs! Owner said he smokes with all wood, charcoal only to get it started. Home made sauce too! He used to smoke and serve ribs from a little food stand on Forest Grove and the Blvd. Glad to see him keep the same awesome food. Highly recommend his food!
