This place is so awesome, they are up front with the work that needs to be done on your vehicle and how much it will cost to do it.

My friend recommended that I come here for inspection even though I have a trust worthy place but it’s far away. Since that’s too far, I gave this place a shot. Well they charged me for replacing my blinkers when I just checked that they were working and they charged me for something else that I don’t even know needed replacing. They were not going to pass me unless they fixed it but they let my friend off with a warning for her extremely bald tires! I would think tires would be more dangerous. Anyway, when I went to pick up my car they were having trouble with the ignition and two ppl tried to get it working (one being the mechanic) and then I noticed they had the wrong key!!! Seriously? Well, my ignition is wobbly and loose now. Good thing my car isn’t fancy or anything or else I’d be very unhappy that they almost broke it.

Great customer service. Very knowledgeable and they explain it to you clearly. They never add extra work or charges without calling you and explaining it. Appointment times and pick up times are kept, They don’t keep you waiting forever.

Nothing but good experiences with Able Auto. So friendly and ready to help. They have given my son free advice when searching for his first car with little money to spend. They are honest and reasonably priced. They service my husband’s work vehicles and they have serviced and repaired 3 of our cars. We will stick with them!

As a recent college graduate who moved to Virginia Beach last year with a 1996 Honda, I have obviously faced a fair share of car related issues. I first chose Able because of their location and hours, but have returned for what is now the third time to this shop. First of all, they will call and walk you through exactly what is going on with your vehicle. Like Kathy said, they explain whether it’s a safety issue that needs to be addressed immediately or whether you can wait awhile and save up. Their prices are fair, and their staff is honest. They maintain daily contact with you while your car is in their shop, and will not do any work without your pre-​authorization. No hidden fees, no bogus charges, just honest information and friendly service. I would never take my car anywhere else.

We’ve been a customer of Able Auto Service since 2009. It’s a family-​owned business close to our home. At first we chose them because of their location, but now we wouldn’t take our car anywhere else. First and foremost, they’re honest. They don’t make us feel as if they’re going to take advantage of our lack of knowledge. They explain every item they’ve found and they let you know if it’s a safety issue and needs to be repaired immediately or if it can wait a while. A couple of times, we had to bring the car back because a problem with a sensor re-​appeared. They took our car in right away, fixed the problem and didn’t charge us. They’re a small business, but I guess word of mouth has generated some more business, because they’re always busy. I would recommend calling for an appointment before you go.
