Absolute Auto Care

Owner, Rob Foreman sold us a vehicle that was not owned by him or his business. We never received the vehicle that was to be in working reliable order. We prosecuted him in civil and criminal court. He never showed up for either case and was found guilty and at fault in both. No monies were ever returned to us.

Terrible. Beware! these folks are scammers! plus they love rating their own business to get people in. STAY AWAY! they lead you to believe they fixed your vehicle, but make matters worse so you go back to them since they were last to «fix» your car. The owner Rob is a scum bag. Always giving you the run around! His mechanics are shady as hell. Using quick fixes, but never fixing the problem itself. As I said earlier STAY AWAY.

Well I went there on the advice of a friend & that I would get a great price & great services, BS!!! I was visiting Va. Beach from Pa. So I went in for them to look at it & was told it would be about 200 – 300 dollars. Ok good price. All I need was new breaks, airflow which I was told it would coast $ 5 I was charged $ 92.00, I also need transmission fluid too. So I took it back next day & they «found» more things wrong with it. Lol I did see the price before hand $ 660.00 & I said ok. The breaks where the main problem, so they went & replaced the whole back break system, brakes rotors calibers and drums when I picked it up it still made that horrible sound it made before, but they told me it was the emergency brake system that was making that sound & and that would be another five to $ 600 to replace. So I believed him I just took the car to live with the sound. After driving it for a while the car started to smell like it was on fire, & The brakes were sticking!!! Omg!!! I called & got the excuse it was break fluid on it & it would go away lol. I knew better I brought the car back to the shop, again they said it was because of the emergency brake system. They took off one tire and the drum and the caliber were so hot he couldn’t touch it. «he should’ve known that there was a different problem» Again he told me with the emergency brake system. Don’t understand why he didn’t think it was a problem that the drum and the caliber where so hot!!! I asked if he could remove the emergency brake system and he said no which I understood why np. So he said at this point there was nothing more he could do. As I was backing out of the lot the tire started to grip and would not turn & he told me it was like that before I brought it into him BS!!! He drove it and didn’t see a problem with it The only thing he did was run to the bank with my check after asking me to put it in his name not the shops name!!! I couldn’t stop payment on the check because he cashed it so fast. Not deposit it in the company’s account He cashed it out right that night!!! He knew he screwed me, just hoping I was out of state when I realized he didn’t do his job.
I then took it to a friend who looked at it the caliber got so hot it’s seized because he never fix the real problem! Which wasn’t the emergency brake system but The plate that goes behind the breaks that stops rocks and stones from going up into your brake system it was rusted and just needed to be replaced. So I had to go out and spend another hundred and $ 50 to have somebody replace it I probably never need it the drums or the caliber just new brake shoes and that other part replace $ 200.00. I did need the piston. So please find somewhere else to go!!! He just seen a free quick $ 700.00 because a girl went in there by herself. Plus I guess he doesn’t think so much of his friendship with the friend that referred me!!! Again untrustworthy, unreliable & A scam artist. Just one girls opinion!!! Please take your car somewhere else!!! BTW my great break was &50 bucks off. LOL!!!

Wow. They do not make people like the people at Absolute Auto Care anymore. These guys really seem to know what they are doing and are kind, genuine and honest about their assessments. I went to them for a second opinion (the first opinion being from a dealership… yeah… $ 700+ estimate!) and came out happy as a clam (turns out I only needed to replace 1 part on my car, not 100!)
They advised me to purchase the part at the dealership and they’ll fix it for me. Well, I went and bought the part, came back, and they went right to work. Basically in less than an hour I was good to go! However, I must say that I only needed a light fixed on my front bumper (not major body work) so that’s why they were so quick with it.
They really do seem genuine, and I would totally recommend them to anyone without a doubt! :)
