Would not recommend. Food was way overpriced and awful. Any place that offers calimari we will try once. What a huge mistake. We might as well have ordered battered rubberbands. chewy and no flavor and barely warm. one bite and we sent them back. Main dishes; Cajun Fish Tacos and the Sesame Tuna Steak. The Cajun Taco’s were way over seasoned. My spouse managed to eat most of one before pushing the plate away. I tried a bite and immediately my taste buds were attacked with nothing but burning cajun spices. No other flavors were present. I had the Tuna«steak» which was ordered rare. The result was a sesame seed coated slab of some kind of fish that was rare in the middle, but I got the sense it had but pulled out of a plastic bag«as is». I picked at it for about 3 bites worth and pushed it away as well. The waiter looked to be 14yrs old and couldn’t care less how our meal went. He had no idea about specials and had never even heard of an Arnold Palmer. Clearly we blame the owner for the untrained waiter. Good Servers expect good tips, but if the food sucks, their customers will not tip well, no matter how well they are served, so the smart and talented servers will quickly run for the hills. What customers are left with is kids and dolts who think a $ 5 tip on a $ 50 bill is awesome. Finally, as we were leaving, we figured out the appeal and the only reason this place still exists; its location. Right across the street is a heavily rented oceanfront condo high-rise that invites unsuspecting tourists easy access to a bar.

Ate here a few weeks ago. The crab cakes were ok. The flat iron steak was great. Pricey. Go early. Long wait. No take out.

I’d give this place 0 stars if they’d let me. They advertise«dine in or take out». We called to place a take out order and get the response: «Why don’t you come in and eat here» We planned a night in, got in our PJs and wanted some crab legs. They also said they do take out during the winter months but then why is their advertisement in a summer resort?! I will be back to this area to vacation, but I will never give this place my business

I ate here twice during vacation and both times were better than I expected based on the reviews here. I had the fish tacos with a summer salad yesterday and both were very good. I like to eat healthy, even on vacation and this place definitely fit the bill. Earlier I had the chicken wrap and the chicken was delicious and it came with a good dressing that also was nice and light and very tasty. I say ignore the negative reviews and give it a shot.

I can’t recommend it. Food was alright for the price. Service was not very good. Overwhelmed waiters and waitresses. We were a group of about 17 in two tables. Placed orders at about the same time. One table got done before the other one got its order. The owner of the restaurant, Jim Reeves, brought his explanation of the delay with technical excuses and a loud, menacing tone of voice. If a waiter had communicated with clients in that way he or she would have been fired on the spot at any other restaurant, or for that matter, at any other business. Also gave us trouble to split the bill. Poor treatment from the owner, left us all upset and with a terrible taste. Some of us had the impression that his behavior was quite strange. He was aggressive and out of sorts. We are locals, and bring our out of town friends there once a year to drop $ 300 in dinner and drinks. We all think that that might not happen again.

Shrimp is great. Got the crab legs and no tools to eat them because they keep getting stolen according to the hired help. Paid«market price» too. Bush league for high prices. Lame o.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Terrible!!! Waaay overpriced for garbage. The draft cooler was broken so no draft beers. There were flies and the décor is partially cafeteria style. The carpets need to be vacuumed. The food was the worst part though, Ugh. I got the seafood pasta. It was supposed to have shrimp, scallops, and crab. It had only shrimp and was blaaand. The server said oh yeah, we’re out of scallops. I didn’t even eat it all. And it was $ 20! The burger was so so. The tuna tartar was sketchy, I wasn’t even sure if it was tuna. The best part though is the price… not. $ 54 for horrible horrible food. This place needs to check themselves regarding their worth and why they charge or they need to seriously fix a lot of things.

Nothing was bad, but no one was impressed with anything, either. The blender was really loud, and our parents had to stop conversation every time someone ordered a frozen beverage, which happened more than I’d have every imagined that it might. Our server was great, but the gal who delivered the food ran away faster than we could ask for extra plates. This was our first time to sand bridge, so we tried it because it was within walking distance to the house we rented. Can’t say we’ll go back next year if we return to sand bridge. If you really don’t feel like cooking, I suppose you won’t get a bad meal.

My family and I found this place last year on vacation and it was so good we made sure we went there this year. Amazing food. Great service. Pizza is wonderful. A bit pricey but it is well worth it. If you have to wait for a table there are activities in the back area on the bay. Last year they had tables with people selling crafts. This year was dodge ball. The wait was not as long as they said. The staff is definitely working their butts off to get people in and out as efficiently as possible. We were told it was going to be a 30 minute wait which turned out to only be 15 minutes. With the wait, we were still in and out in just over an hour. And we have leftovers for lunch tomorrow.

Music and The back area were great. The wait what we were told was going to be an hour, but turned in about 45 minutes. We had a large group with us 12. They were out of hamburgers bread appetizer burritos, And shrimp. The food was pretty good, I had the seafood Alfredo. Shrimp was small scallops were tiny, and the crab with shredded and hard to Rosso case so dip was fantastic and the tortillas were fantastic.

We went here with a huge party on a busy night, and they did everything they could to seat us quickly and near eachother. Great service, food was delicious, and located on a beautiful bay! Amazing atmosphere outside. Only con was the temperature inside. Granted, it was a scorcher outside but it was so hot and uncomfortable while eating dinner that I took the majority of my meal home to enjoy later.

Just finished Father’s Day lunch… very disappointed. Food took 70 minutes to arrive at our table, everyone ordered simple hot sandwiches(crab cake sandwiches, burgers, tuna sandwiches). No, the place wasn’t full! Our food wasn’t piping hot despite the time to prepare, fries were cold, which tells us our meals sat under the lights for some time. Flies, yep, ew!, were plentiful. If I ever go back it will be to drop off a fly swatter. On the positive side, drinks were cold and plentiful, and our server was pleasant and on it. The location is gorgeous! Management needs to up the ante… you are sitting on a diamond mine and serving up coal!

Great food great service. Great portion sizes. The only negative part of the meal were the flies continuing to buzz around our heads. Try the age crab soup as long as you don’t get carried away. We arrived early for dinner before the kitchen started serving they allowed us to order apps until they could start our dinners at 5. Hurry by 5:30 there was already a line out the door.

Great food and atmosphere. The she-crab soup is one of the best things I have ever tasted. Highly recommend this place. If you are visiting Sandbridge going here is a must.

The wait was about an hour for our relatively small group on a Thursday evening. You can’t get food in the bar area — and it’s huge. Not even chips and salsa/pretzels, etc. I was told they«don’t have the manpower because of how busy» they got when serving food at the bar. So…hire more people. Right? A Long Island iced tea was $ 9.50. I will say it was a strong drink — but dang for $ 9.50 it better be. The atmosphere was nice — but with all the tables everywhere it just feels like its missing something by not having the option to have at least SOMETHING to eat in the bar area. A glass of white wine was $ 8.25 — a quick google search shows that the whole bottle is about $ 9.50. Kind of an obnoxiously large markup(read: ripoff). The interior felt just as hot and humid as the exterior. The people were friendly — but they also were dripping with sweat because the heat in the building was so high. If the owner is reading this, please invest in air conditioning. Your drink prices should more than cover it. They were also out of steak, crab legs, oysters, and their Polynesian rice bowls. The queso chorizo dip was delicious. The burger was really good also. The loaded mashed potatoes and the free beans were also very good but the potatoes came out a bit cold. Good meal — would recommend taking care of some of the other stuff though.

We visit the area every year and have only been to Baja for late night drinks. This year we were impressed with the upgrades to the outdoor furniture and the bathrooms. Always an interesting crowd!

Fantastic for a family group — the service is really fantastic(thoughtful, speedy, and incredibly warm) and the food was quite good. I LOVED my shrimp tacos, as well as my Rum Punch, and quite liked my rice bowl. We also really enjoyed the hush puppies and boiled shrimp appetizer. We visited twice as a large group. The first time, we called ahead an hour and got a great spot for 16(10 adults and 6 kids). The second night we walked in as a group of 14, put our name down and spent the 45 min or so wait drinking out back watching the sun set while the kids played on the lawn. Also, the place is bustling so even if you’re inside with kids, you don’t have to worry too much about your baby disturbing people etc. This quickly became a family favorite.

My family is staying right across the street from this place for our first visit to VB. After traveling all day we decided to try it for dinner. To start off, tell your hostesses to have some kind of self respect instead of wearing skimpy dresses with their butts hanging out the bottom. We waited about 10 minutes before we got seated because they couldn’t decide where to put us. The food was very good, although there isn’t much of an option for those who don’t eat seafood, I guess we should have expected that. Our waitress was very nice and on top of her game with refills and bringing out food in a timely manner.

I cannot speak to the food quality, as I did not eat here. What I can speak to is the quality of nighttime fun. Karaōke + drinks + shots of Fireball = a good time. We came on a gorgeous Thursday night for drinks after dinner. It sits right on the water and with a few tables scattered around on the grass. The actual bar area is very open too; no matter where you sit, you get to enjoy the warm Virginia nights. And the drunken karaōke. ;) It had a super laid back atmosphere and was a fun place to hang for a few hours after dinner. What song did I sing, you ask? Let It Go from Frozen, naturally.

$ 2 mimosas, what’s not to love? A cute, quaint little restaurant with a decent brunch menu and $ 2 mimosas(and they’re so good too). Husband had the chilaquiles, said chips were soggy. I had the pancakes, which were kinda dry… But the hashbrowns(omg the hashbrowns), the mimosas and the service were 10 stars — ie; make up for dry pancakes and soggy tortilla chips.
