Worst experience I’ve ever had in my life. Once you pay your money they start acting funny. They don’t deliver what they promise and when confronted about it begin to bark/​act hostile as though their money was spent. They didn’t even deliver what they suggested and everything was in miniature size. The assistant/​Todd or whoever, is rude and disrespectful. He has no sense of customer service and I’m impressed he still works there. I don’t understand people who work in the service industry but lack the knowledge of how to provide customer service. Overall I would not recommend this place to anyone. There are better floral arrangements at the Costco/​grocery store. RUN… RUN SO FAR AWAY!!! SAVE YOUR FUNDS AND TIME!!!

I just celebrated our 3 year wedding anniversary and I am still bitter about the service I received from Black iris. Todd and his «partner» have terrible terrible customer service. (I got barked at for accidentally calling his partner and assistant)
I will say the flowers were absolutely stunning. But their customer service is awful. This is an important day for you and you spend a lot of money on flowers. Todd was late for our meeting then rushed us and was not personable. At all. They are the only florist that works with marina shores so we didn’t have another option, maybe that is why they were so rude. Still not acceptable. Everyone else we dealt with was great.

My sister-​in-​law in Virginia Beach had a serious surgery yesterday, so I wanted to send her something to cheer her up as she recovered. I live in Los Angeles and have my favorite go-​to florists here, but have sent several arrangements to my in-​laws in Virginia Beach over the past couple of years and have always been under-​whelmed by the pictures they send of the resulting arrangement. I’m so glad to find Black Iris! The arrangement looked even better in person than it did online.

Used them not out of choice but because they were associated with the venue that we chose for our wedding. They acted like they had our money already from the beginning. Completely ridiculous way of handling their customers with no customer service, no choices and absolute rudeness. The standard response from the owner was «I’ve been in the business 20 years, we know what we’re doing». Yet, they could not offer us any choices when it came to our package deal that we were already stuck with. Stay away. The flowers and tablecloths were nice enough but for the price/​experience, it was the worst money we spent on our wedding.

If I could give it no stars I would. I didn’t have an option on which florist I could use, but if I did I wouldn’t have chosen this one. Nobody from this company returned my phone calls and when I was supposed to drive up for a meeting he called me at 10 pm to reschedule, even though I lived five hours away and was almost there. When my wedding day did come around I was expecting a large red flower on my cake which wasn’t there even though they charges me $ 150.00 for it. I would not recommend this florist to anyone.
